Abstract:
This article is a response to the preceding articles. It begins by reflecting on the recent rise of interest in spirituality in society and the mental health professions and then examines the diversity of ways of understanding and practicing spiritual direction. It also discusses the opportunities for an enhanced understanding of spiritual transformation that this diversity provides, and investigates the overlapping and permeable nature of the boundaries between spiritual direction and other relationships of soul care. It concludes with some observations about the future.

Abstract:
This article examines spiritual struggle in bereft Christian evangelical students and how struggle might potentiate spiritual growth. The death loss of a close person can result in shattered assumptions about the world that trigger spiritual questions and struggle and spiritual struggle can be a catalyst for growth. To our knowledge, spiritual growth has not been measured utilizing the actual voices of those struggling with the loss, nor has it been measured in Christian evangelical populations who may find it more threatening to yield to spiritual questioning. The Spirit-centered Change Model guides our conceptualization of spiritual growth from a Christian evangelical perspective. Utilizing a mixed methods design, bereft college students (n=161) at a Christian evangelical university answered questionnaires about religious coping, daily spiritual experiences, meaning in life, and open-ended questions about their spiritual growth and how students’ beliefs about God had changed after the loss. Compared to non-bereft peers, bereft students reported higher daily spiritual experiences, but bereft students who struggled spiritually reported less meaning and daily spiritual experiences than bereft students who did not struggle. Narrative responses indicated that spiritual struggle simultaneously tended to reflect more expansive beliefs around God and a deepened spirituality, according to the Spirit-centered Change Model. Results reflect a first empirical step toward measuring spiritual growth as epistemological change.

Abstract:
Sufis took Islam to many parts of Asia and in some of those countries still continue to have a significant impact. Using Kraft’s model of dynamic equivalence this paper examines the Sufi spiritual forms of dhikr and samaʾ. Taking his parameters of form, function and meaning, these forms have been researched in terms of their use in fostering the Christian spiritual growth of Muslim seekers/followers of Jesus Christ in one of those Asian contexts. The assessment seeks to discover the degree to which they are compatible or may create difficulties with similar Christian forms. Following a brief overview of Sufism, the dhikr is considered in terms of its form, function and meaning. Both the fikr, the complement of the dhikr and the samaʾ are examined briefly. Then, the main issues highlighted are examined from a Christian theological perspective. Following Hiebert, a brief consideration is also given in terms of Christian history and traditions. Finally, observations are made as to how compatible these forms are within the Christian context while also outlining some of the possible problems. Abstract:
Psycho-religious factors of posttraumatic growth (PTG) had been widely studied, yet only a few studies had examined the psycho-spiritual factors with stress-related growth (SRG). In order to measure spirituality locally, Study One explored the validity of the Spiritual Transcendence Scale (STS) (Piedmont, 2004) in a 415 adult students sample. Results of the study supported the internal consistency reliability of the overall STS and its concurrent validity with the Religious subscale of the Social Axioms Scale (Leung, Lam, Bond, Conway, Gornick, Amponash et al., 2012) and the Faith Maturity Scale (short-form) (Hui, Ng, Mok, Lau, & Cheung, 2011). Contrary to our prediction, the three-factor structure of the original STS was not supported in Hong Kong population. In accord with previous studies on psycho-religious factors of PTG (for example, Stanton, Bower & Low, 2006), age, gender, personality and spirituality were hypothesized to predict SRG in context of academic stress in Study Two. A total of 182 adult student samples were recruited. Results of the study only supported that spirituality as well as extraverted and agreeable in personalities predicted SRG, but not the other measured variables. Besides, age was the only variable moderated the relationship between academic stress and SRG as hypothesized. Last but not least, consistent with previous studies by Kleim and Ehlers (2010) and our hypothesis, a curvilinear relationship between SRG and depressive symptom was supported. Findings of the present study shed light to clinicians about the conceptualization of SRG and direction for potential psychological treatment.

Abstract:
Recent research has revealed not only the continued growth of interest in traditional western sacred music but also the development of new initiatives that respond to people’s desire to experience spirituality through music. In this chapter, I explore how Kathryn King’s ground-breaking research into choral evensong in England, and Hanna Rijken’s mapping of the growth in popularity of choral evensong in the Netherlands, as well as the results of my own ‘Experience of Music’ surveys all indicate that sacred music, and its ritual-sacral context, leads towards tranquillity, transcendence and sanctuary, re-enchanting both religion and the secular, and leading the listener or participant away from potentially destructive emotions of pride, anger, greed or envy, towards more benevolent feelings of humility, patience, temperance and generosity. Through exploration of current trends in scholarship, I reveal how the liminal space of evensong, with its mystical overtones and transcendental properties, is not a consumerist distraction from the ‘real’ world of work, business, money, or other realities of the everyday that can give us anxiety and stress. It is a retreat into the numinous that can give strength, encouragement, and inspiration to face our problems, and look outwards from our own selfish desires. Both choral evensong and semi-liturgical rituals bring us musical and sacral encounters which can increase our sense of empathy and galvanise us for action. Hearts and minds can be transformed by music and the word in combination, a transformation encouraged by a shared experience. Listening to sacred music in community, even as strangers, can also inspire a broader sense of cohesion and socially committed resolve.

Abstract:
Abstract Indian Higher Education system has got 70 million students enrolled in different technical and professional courses, which is highest in world. Being the fastest growing economy, India has got global attention also. Despite such strong foundation, the nation lacks a skilled workforce. The expectations of the industry don’t match with what they receive as a workforce. There has been a continuous effort in instilling technical, communication, spiritual, leadership skills along with building a high quotient of ethics and professionalism in the students. The problem lies somewhere else, which needs quick attention. The present study attempts to analyze the effect of independent variables assessment of self competence, open to change, networking, professional growth, emotional growth, spiritual growth, realistic expectations, interpersonal skills, conceptual skills, technical skills, leadership skills, attitude towards planet, ethical disposition, flexibility to work and orientation towards money on the dependent variable Employment readiness through Regression analysis. The findings suggest that students need to assess their self competence, develop an achievement orientation attitude and work on technical skills in order to become Employment ready. There are very few studies addressing this issue in Indian context and researchers could find no published empirical work analyzing the effect of all these variables on Employment readiness. This would serve as a strong base for researchers in similar field. This study is beneficial for academicians, policy-makers and academic regulatory bodies. Keywords: Employment readiness, Indian higher education, Generation y employment readiness, Employability of gen y.

Nekrasov on the Russian “lieutenant” prose of the last third of the XX century, authors of which during the great Patriotic war fought on the front line as soldiers or young commanders of the Red Army. Because autobiographical heroes of analyzed artworks are young as their authors in their front youth, today books of veterans of the Great Patriotic war and talented authors, including in educational literary programs at school and at universities, have the big value in patriotic education of the young, clearly disclose the process of the spiritual growth of defenders of their motherland.

Abstract:
This research study aims to explore the potential of Social entrepreneurship education in cultivating spiritual capital as a catalyst for empowering teenagers towards personal and societal transformation. It delves into the process through which young individuals establish meaningful connections with the transformative journey and investigates the key factors that contribute to their transformative experiences. Employing a case study approach, the "Social Entrepreneurship and School Education Program" (SEnSE Program) implemented in Hong Kong from 2014 to 2020 serves as the primary case under investigation. By utilizing literature analysis, observation methods, focus groups, and in-depth interviews with participants of the SEnSE Program, this study examines the life transformation experiences of the fifth generation of youth in Hong Kong (born between 1992 and 2006), ultimately identifying the crucial factors that facilitate their transformative growth. The findings of this research contribute to the development of a transformative framework that seamlessly integrates the realms of spirituality and entrepreneurship education, offering valuable insights for shaping future educational practices.

Abstract:
Knowledge-based civilizations are considered as new socio-philosophical phenomena, the complexity of conceptualizing their initial attitudes is shown. The article substantiates the need to develop a theory of civilizational coding as a mechanism for the formation of new knowledge that affects the socioeconomic and spiritual and moral development of civilizations, the acceleration of economic growth of states, the increase in the level of spirituality of a person and society in the conditions of challenges, risks and bifurcations. An attempt has been made to create a civilizational paradigm of concrete actions based on the acquisition and use of new knowledge, allowing to determine the meanings and guidelines for the development of various events, to identify the causes that determine certain negative phenomena.

Abstract:
The concept of sustainable development involves economic development, social development, ecological development, political development, human development, spiritual and cultural development. All these elements pursue three fundamental objectives: smart growth - developing a knowledge and innovation-based economy, sustainable growth - promoting a more competitive and greener economy, in which resources are used more efficiently and inclusive growth - encouraging or high employment of the workforce, to ensure social and territorial cohesion. The production of basic food products using environmentally friendly technologies is a viable alternative for the recovery of waste or by-products resulting from manufacturing processes. One such alternative is the use of grape pomace and red cabbage outer leaves to make yogurt. The paper shows the evolution of the prebiotic activity of Lactobacillus delbrueckii ssp. Bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus (microorganisms used in the manufacture of yogurt) when grape pomace and cabbage outer leaves were used to fortify the milk base. After fortifying the milk base by adding the two by-products, the milk was inoculated with a culture formed by the two microorganisms. The quantification of the two microorganisms was done after 24 hours of thermostating. Physico-chemical analyzes were also performed in order to verify the quality of the improved yoghurts by comparison with the control test (yogurt without additives).

Abstract:
Workplace spirituality has been defined as a framework for organizational values that is part of the culture, connection, and future. AKA is a small woman-owned, spirit-led business. Our mission and vision direct us toward programs, research, evaluation, and communities that match our values, theories, and interests. Because spirituality is essential for wellness, well teams, and well communities, we designed this study to explore AKA team member views about spirituality and how they incorporate spirituality in their work. The following research questions to guide this study: 1) What are some spiritual practices of AKA team members? and 2) How do spiritual practices influence the inner self, outer self, and team/clients? Methods: Data for this study were collected from AKA Associates with Zoom interviews from May 2023 to July 2023. Interviews were audio recorded, transcribed using Otter.ai, cleaned, and coded using thematic analysis. Results: The research team contacted twelve AKA associates; nine were eligible to participate. Two were male, and seven were female. The thematic analysis revealed three major workplace spirituality themes: beliefs, practices, and experiences. Spiritual beliefs varied among the team. Many cited a belief in God or a higher power. Others mentioned goodness, altruism, and a Divine connection to the path they are on. Practices have to do with the outer self and what we do, what we see, and what we hear. AKA associates’ practices vary from prayer, journaling, forgiveness, burning sage, being in nature, attending church, having joy, gratitude, and involvement in church/faith communities. AKA associates talked about their varied experiences, including service, generosity, empowerment, grounding, integrity/accountability, advocacy, and authenticity. Discussion: This qualitative study found that beliefs, practices, and experiences create connections and enduring relationships. Within the AKA team, beliefs varied about spirituality. Some believed in a Creator or God; others talked about a higher power, goodness, or nothing. Spirituality in the workplace has the potential to improve the health and well-being of employees and clients served. Spiritual beliefs vary within individuals and organizations; what is most important is the experiences that result from a spiritual orientation. When personal, organizational, and spiritual values align, growth, creativity, and innovation happen.
