Abstract:
Spiritually-oriented art therapy interventions are based on a holistic, therapeutic approach that aims to enable people who are in fragmented states to achieve integrity, unity, harmony, and balance by taking all the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions of human nature into account using the medium of art and its creative processes. Art is considered intrinsically spiritual by many artists and art therapists, and the history of art and its relationship to treatment is as old as human history; however, open consideration of the spiritual dimension in therapeutic settings, particularly in art therapy interventions, is relatively new. Reviewing the emergence of spiritually-oriented art therapy interventions and their mechanisms of change is considered useful for seeing how they enable holistic transformation. These mechanisms have been determined as self-realization and understanding, transcendence, meaning-making and searching for a purpose, and achieving integrity through the holistic wellbeing approach.

Abstract:
Bea is a young Puerto Rican university student living in San Juan. Despite her efforts, her professional and personal life seem to have deteriorated. She has broken up with her boyfriend and the relationship with her parents is getting worse. Besides, she dreams of travelling, but she doesn’t have the money to do so. She decides to go to see several mediums in order to understand why everything is going wrong. She will find the answers to her questions through Pedro, a Peruvian-born medium based in San Juan, who will encourage her to take part in a spiritual cleansing ritual to expel the negative energies which prevent her from being completely happy. More precisely, Pedro will organise a ritual made up of three phases: a spiritual cleansing with a white dove, a purification ritual in a tropical river and an offering to the sea. At the end of the film, Bea will have to spiritually purify her own house by going into all the rooms with a white dove.

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to analyze the role of spiritual, psychological and social dimensions of business taxpayer compliance in micro small and medium enterprises. Tax compliance is an ideal condition for taxpayers who meet tax regulations and report income accurately and honestly. However, the reality in Indonesia shows the voluntary compliance level to the community is still low. This is reflected in the amount of state tax revenue compared to gross domestic product. Design/methodology/approach The location of the study was conducted on taxpayers of micro small and medium enterprises in Bali Province. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data with primary data sources in the form of questionnaires to 100 business taxpayers. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. Findings The results showed that money ethics (as a psychological dimension) and tax socialization (as a social dimension), did not significantly influence tax compliance. Karma phala (as a spiritual dimension) has a positive and significant effect on business taxpayers’ compliance. When an individual's behavior has reflected commitment in their religion philosophy, it is expected to be a control of deviant behavior and good behavior in taxation obligations. In the future, it will be able to prevent deviations from perversion and universal undesirable. Research limitations/implications Research is only limited to entrepreneurs who are in the micro small and medium business sector, so it is still lacking in representing the public opinions, especially business people in businesses whose scope is wider. In addition, the variables used in this study are still not maximized, one can add more variables, one of which is tax modernization. Originality/value Consideration of spirituality dimension use because it is part of individual character formation in attitude and behavior. The psychological and spiritual dimensions include the human behavior theories development that integrate aspects of spirituality to shape human behavior as a whole with a comprehensive perspective, especially religious philosophy through the enforcement of karma phala laws to realize compliance and fulfillment of tax obligations with full responsibility.

Abstract:
Despite the popular attraction of spiritualism in contemporary society, the discourse of spiritual mediumship has attracted little attention from linguists or stylisticians. One of the practical reasons for this is probably the lack of material in the public domain. On the basis of a recording of a whole session between a professional medium and her client, this article looks at the reporting strategies used by the medium to convey alleged messages from those who have Passed Over: messages which are central to the claims of spiritualism and hence to the authority of the medium. It will be argued that the common accepted formalist terminology of speech representation is inadequate, failing to do justice to the blended spaces of this world and that Beyond and to the medium’s role as ‘intermediary’. Four types are illustrated (interpreted, relayed, dictated and unmediated speech). The methodology proposed might offer a useful approach to the complexities of speech presentation even in This World.

Abstract:
Bourdieu's theory of culture offers a rich conceptual resource for the social-scientific study of religion. In particular, his analysis of cultural capital as a medium of social relations suggests an economic model of religion alternative to that championed by rational choice theorists. After evaluating Bourdieu's limited writings on religion, this paper draws upon his wider work to craft a new model of “spiritual capital.” Distinct from Iannaccone's and Stark and Finke's visions of “religious capital,” this Bourdieuian model treats religious knowledge, competencies, and preferences as positional goods within a competitive symbolic economy. The valuation of spiritual capital is the object of continuous struggle and is subject to considerable temporal and subcultural variation. A model of spiritual capital illuminates such phenomena as religious conversion, devotional eclecticism, religious fads, and social mobility. It also suggests some necessary modifications to Bourdieu's theoretical system, particularly his understanding of individual agency, cultural production, and the relative autonomy of fields.

Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to compare spiritual beliefs and practices between nurses and health care social workers based on their involvement with dying patients. Exposure to the dying was identified by two indicators: the percentage of terminally ill patients in the provider's care and the work environment. On the basis of the literature, differences were expected between the two types of professionals and the three degrees of involvement with the dying. Nurses were expected to have a higher spiritual perspective than social workers; and health care providers with high involvement in care for the dying were expected to hold the highest levels of spiritual beliefs. Contrary to expectations, no differences in spirituality were found between nurses and social workers; both groups exhibited medium levels of spirituality. Furthermore, health care providers who were highly involved with dying patients had the lowest spiritual perspectives. Tentative explanations of these unexpected results are presented and discussed.

Abstract:
Spiritual literature takes the foremost role in the history of literature. Spiritual literature has the tendency to impact our spirit and leads us afloat on the ocean of happiness. Every religion has been at certain points of time propounded by a teacher and later spread throughout the globe by their students. However some of the worship methods predate the era of literature. Islam is a religion that grew through the teachings of Nabi. Many saints have expressed the immense state of spiritual attainment by forsaking the material joys of the world through their songs. Many religions have used the Tamil language as a medium of expressing their ideology. All religions are unified by their emotive spirituality. Dhayumanavar and Gunangudiyar occupy a significant position in the history of literature. Eventhough their means to spirituality differs they express similar spiritual experiences. The purpose of this article is to research on the similarity observed in their mode of prayer and descriptions in each of their Paraparakkanni.

Sadhus relinquish worldly possessions in the name of spiritual pursuits, surviving on whatever the divine provides. Abstract:
This article attempts to reveal the relation of murshid and murīd (pupil) of the Tarekat Shādhilīyah at Pesulukan Thoriqot Agung (PETA) in Tulungagung East Java. The author discusses the pattern of constructive relation between murshid and his pupils to build an objective social reality of the tarekat in terms of its teaching and ritual aspects. This moment subsequently becomes a medium of adaptation of the pupils. It helps the pupils to reach the process of spiritual happiness and internalize it into his/her consciousness and behaviors. Within such relation, social construction affirms that community is a result of human’s production and it stands beyond the zone of an external phenomenon. This external phenomenon consists of material and non-material subjects. In time, the external phenomenon becomes an objective reality, which forms understanding and behavior of other people in other different periods. Murshid has been the main subject within a tarekat who is capable to color spiritual realm of his pupils. The plot of murabbī al-rūḥ (spiritual educator) attached upon murshid is not a mysteriously hidden, abstract, and unseen epithet. Instead, this spiritual status is applied in his social action and behavior and it colors the spiritual actions of his murīd.

So far, business and marketing practices have only caught on to rational and emotional considerations. The spiritual aspect tends to be ignored, as evidenced by the outbreak of financial scandals in the United States with the collapse of giant corporations, such as Enron, WorldCom, or Global Crossing. So the necessary paradigm shift thinking in the concept of marketing.
Spiritual marketing comes to be the solution to the problem. The concept of spiritual marketing developed by Hermawan Kertajaya, we use as a medium of tourism marketing in Madura with sharia tourism and culture approach in accordance with the characteristics of Madurese society that is religious and full of cultural nuances. In the concept of Spiritual Marketing there are four variables: theistic (rabbaniyah), ethical (akhlaqiyyah), realistic (a-waqi'iyyah), and humanist (insaniyyah) that will guide in this concept. Spiritual marketing has an orientation to God, so the whole process in marketing activities follows the guidance of Islam.
The method used in this paper is qualitative descriptive with primary and secondary data. This concept requires synergy between government, religious leaders, academics, MUI, and society in Madura so that its implementation can take place and produce positive results for the progress of tourism in Madura.

Abstract:
As a nation, the India is failing to compete globally in academic achievement. The problem addressed in the current study is twofold, with both components dealing with student underachievement. The first concern is that students are failing to reach individual potential, and second that the country is failing in global academic competition. The search for valid solutions to remediate underachievement has yielded non-traditional methods of internal motivation and resiliency with emotional and even spiritual implications. Consequently research needs to be conducted to verify if in fact a student’s spiritual intelligence acts as an internal motivator that encourages or predicts his or her achievement. Therefore, the current study investigated was the effect of a secondary student’s spiritual intelligence on his or her achievement in Science subjects. The study aimed to study of spiritual intelligence in relation achievement in science among secondary school students. The study was conducted on a sample of 300 secondary school students. Sampling was done through proportionate stratified technique giving dual representation to the various strata like sex, location, type of institute, medium of institute, religion, community etc. The findings reveal that the causes of spiritual intelligence among the secondary school students differ on the basis of Gender at different board; this may be due to the fact that the male and female students perceive spiritual intelligence merely as a subject and does not provide equal attention as to other subject.

Abstract:
In classical Sufistic interpretation, it was taught about how to cultivate one's heart. This is done so that a servant can interact directly with Him. While in the modern world today it is taught about the Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) which incidentally has the same basis in the management of "emotion" and "heart" as a means to achieve success in the world and the hereafter. Between Sufistic interpretation and ESQ there is a close relationship. By using descriptive-analytical methods, this article finds that Sufistic interpretation has direction, orientation and goals that are in line with ESQ. Sufistically, there is a Qur'anic interpretation that can be used as a medium to increase emotional and spiritual skills (ESQ). In the context of Sufism practices, a very real contribution is found that one's level of religiousness is in line and closely related to one's ESQ.

Abstract:
A number of Mahler’s symphonies contain climactic accumulations and releases of musical-expressive energy that overspill conventional boundaries between the aesthetic and the sensational, the spiritual and the physical, high art and the popular. These might be said to define something of the ‘problem’ that his music represented for many of his contemporaries. They are still infrequently confronted in terms of their elaborately staged excess, as if mocking the metaphorical language of harmonically contrived ‘tension and resolution’ by revealing, in spite of conventional mockery of ‘programmaticism’, what such notionally formal or ‘theoretical’ language always implies. Even Lawrence Dreyfus’s recent exploration of the ‘erotic impulse’ in Wagner’s music was to some degree hedged by symptomatic analysis of Wagner’s supposed ‘decadence’, although it valuably opened up the field and offered insight into key features of post-Wagnerian, late-romantic music. Mahler himself, in a famous letter to Gisela Tolnay-Witt, situated these in the specific, socio-cultural characteristics of symphonic music in an era of mass consumption by ever larger numbers of people in ever larger spaces. The history and changing implications of these climactic moments in Mahler’s symphonies will be sketched here with reference to their often explicitly transgressive implications.

Abstract:
There have been many studies on spiritual leadership (SL) and its effects on organizational outcomes, ranging from commitment to organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs). Precisely, researches regarding SL and OCB were conducted in different regions, cultures, and industries. These topics attracted a growing interest in the second half of the last decade. To clarify the SL–OCB relationship with regard to varied regions and industries, a meta-analysis was needed. Thus, the purpose of this study was to systematically analyze the quantitative studies exploring SL and OCB and to determine whether region, school, or other variables have any moderating effects on the link between SL and OCB. Upon a thorough analysis of the papers on the relationship between both SL and OCB in the literature, 43 studies met the search terms, but only 17 of them were included in this study. The results revealed a mean effect size of [Formula: see text] = .465, which displayed a statistically significant and positive relationship at the medium level between SL and OCB. The research also explored the effects of both Middle Eastern and Far Eastern samples, along with the factors of schools and other industries, on the link between SL and OCB. Neither different regions nor type of institutions had a significant effect on the link between SL and OCB.

Language is our medium of expression, which we depend upon for most of what we do, whether in the ordinary or the spiritual life. Yet language is not a passive or objective medium. It possesses a certain form or bias relative to the culture that produces it. For this reason, it is not merely enough to use words. We have to understand the nature and the limitations of the language in which they are cast. Otherwise, no matter what we may say, our language may distort the meaning and cause it to have results other than what we may have intended.

Abstract:
This study aims to examine the relationship between teachers’ spiritual well-being and happiness levels. Being quantitative in nature, this study employs a relationship survey model. A total of 390 teachers employed in various grades of different types of schools (i.e., primary schools, middle schools, Imam-Khatib middle schools, Anatolian-science high schools, Imam-Khatib high schools, and vocational high schools) in Istanbul’s Küçükçekmece district volunteered to participate in this study. The Personal Information Form, the Spiritual Well-Being Scale, and the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire were employed to collect data, which were then analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient and a regression analysis. The results of these analyses reveal that happiness is significantly and positively correlated with transcendence and harmony with nature whereas happiness is significantly and negatively correlated with anomie. While transcendence positively affects teachers’ happiness, anomie negatively affects them. It has been found that this effect size is medium. Another important finding obtained in the study is that harmony with nature, one of the sub-dimensions of spiritual well-being, does not affect teachers’ happiness.

This is a major form of capital in improving the standard of living of Balinese people through making offerings, in addition to being a medium for channeling Balinese skills, it also benefits energy and time to increase income for Balinese people. However, the younger generation of Hindus is still patterned by the paradigm of priyayi elitism and bureaucratic elitism. This needs to be corrected for the Hindu young generation in addressing current global issues. Therefore, innovation is needed in increasing business opportunities for income for the people of Bali.

Abstract:
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) entrepreneurial activities are critical to nation’s economic development and wealth creation. The governments provide both financial and non-financial assistances to support the development of these firms. Despite the government assistance, SMEs experience business discontinuity at the early stage of the firm development and unable to bounce back. Research on restarting after business discontinuity among SMEs is vital to enrich the existing literature in regards to firms’ learning and survival ability, and improving their current strategy to compete and sustain in the market. The objective of this study is to identify the factors that contribute to restarting after business discontinuity among Bumiputra Small and Medium Enterprises. This study utilized the case study methodology and selected Bumiputra firms under Majlis Amanah Rakyat as the research setting. The study found that five factors, including personality, environment, internal factor, resilience, and spiritual belief contributed to restarting after business discontinuity among Bumiputra SMEs. These findings broaden the theory of firm failure in entrepreneurship studies and their relations to firm learning. These insights are useful for both entrepreneurs of new firms and policy makers to improve entrepreneurial learning in supporting firms’ survival.

In a literal sense, the word ma (間) means “interval” or “gap.” With considerable enthusiasm, since the early 1960s, Japanese thinkers and design practitioners have developed ma into an abstract and spiritual concept. With the use of interpretive research and ethnographic methods, this article explores how ma, commonly understood as ambiguity, has been deeply appreciated in Japanese culture. To find out more about ma, the author interviewed Nagai Kazumasa and Sugiura Kohei, the two eminent Japanese Design Movement (JDM) poster designers, in their Tokyo design offices in 2008. Specifically, from a case study research of one of Sugiura's renowned works, the author found that the concept of ma has been elevated by Sugiura to a religio-aesthetic and spiritual status. Sugiura has used ma as both medium and message in maintaining his intellectual and artistic position in Japan and Asia.

Abstract:
1. Two Faces of Yoruba ReligionThe proliferation and overlapping of spiritual beings is a feature of many religions. Saints in popular Catholicism and Vishnu's avatāras in Hinduism represent, in different ways, the possibility of spiritual beings that are simultaneously one and many, clusters or series of manifestations whose inner relationships are often not fully explained. Yoruba òrìṣà are in good company. However, the way in which multiple aspects of gods are made and maintained clearly varies from one religious repertoire to another. I suggest that it is important to look at the means or medium by which fractions of gods are established, in order to understand how the relationships between them are conceived. Yoruba òrìṣà can scarcely be apprehended without taking into account the specific textuality of the oral genres through which they are created, maintained and communicated with.

The spiritual and cultural needs of residents have been a growing trend with the living standards improving in China. As an essential medium to reflect the social status, film and TV drama need to satisfy the spiritual and cultural needs of residents as well as spread positive energy to society. The Silk Road International Film Festival was founded in 2014 under the Belt and Road Initiative, which created more opportunities for the export of Chinese film and TV drama. Although the value chain and digital technology can support the export of Chinese film and TV drama, some problems still exist.
