COORDENAÇÃO DE APERFEIÇOAMENTO DO PESSOAL DE ENSINO SUPERIOR<br>O planejamento e a gestão de atividades esportivas é uma
área promissora e pouco explorada para aplicações de
Pesquisa Operacional. Os problemas nesta área são em geral
de formulação simples e alcançam grande difusão nos meios
de comunicação. Embora sua formulação seja simples, em
geral estes problemas são difíceis de serem resolvidos em
termos computacionais. Os resultados de muitos trabalhos
acadêmicos nesta área têm sido aceitos como soluções para
problemas reais e várias soluções vem sendo implementadas
na prática. Esta tese tem como objetivo principal estudar
dois tipos de problemas que surgem na área de esportes: a
programação de tabelas e os problemas da classificação. A
programação de tabelas para competições esportivas é uma
tarefa difícil, na qual diversas técnicas de otimização
combinatória têm sido aplicadas. Nesta tese, formula-se o
Problema do Torneio com Viagens Espelhado como um problema
de otimização em grafos. O problema é resolvido utilizando-
se algoritmos aproximados. Apresentam-se duas heurísticas
para este problema. A primeira é muito rápida e serve para
fornecer soluções iniciais para a segunda, que é capaz de
obter soluções de boa qualidade em tempos razoáveis. São
deduzidos limites duais para um tipo particular de
instâncias. Estes limites permitem provar a otimalidade
das soluções obtidas heuristicamente para instâncias muito
maiores do que as maiores instâncias resolvidas na
literatura. Por ultimo, é apresentado um modelo de
programação linear inteira para o problema, ao qual são
acrescentadas desigualdades válidas. Os problemas da
classificação visam obter condições, necessárias e
suficientes, para a classificação de uma determinada
equipe para as finais de um campeonato em relação ao
número de pontos a ser obtido. São apresentados modelos de
programação linear inteira que permitem resolver estes
problemas no contexto do Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol.<br>Sports management is a very attractive and not very
explored area for applications of Operations Research.
Problems in this area use to have simple formulations and
reach a big coveragge by the media. Although their
formulations are simple, in general these problems are
difficult to be solved in computational terms. The results
of many academic works in this area have been accepted as
solutions for real problems and some solutions are being
implemented.
This thesis has the main objective of studying two types
of problems that appear in the sports area: the fixture
creation and the qualification problems.
Fixture creation (also known as sport scheduling) for
sport competitions is a difficult task, in which several
combinatorial optimization techniques has been applied. In
this thesis, the Mirrored Traveling Tournament Problem is
formulated as a graph optmization problem. The problem is
solved using approximation algorithms. Two heuristics are
introduced for this problem. The first one is very fast
and is used to supply initial solutions for the second one
which is able to obtain high quality solutions in
reasonable computation times. Dual limits are deduced for
a particular type of instances. These limits allow to
prove the optimality of the heuristically abtained
solutions for instances that are much bigger than those
soved in the literature. Finally, an integer programming
model is introduced in wich valid inequalities are added.
The qualification problems aim to obtain necessary and
sufficient conditions for the playoffs qualification of a
given team in terms of the number of points to be
obtained. Integer programming models are introduced which
allow solving these problems in the context of the
Brazilian Football Championship.

The purpose of this thesis was to explore the development of elite sport through national sport policy within a developing country, Jamaica. Taking a qualitative approach, the thesis drew on the SPLISS framework (De Bosscher et al., 2006, 2015) to understand government influence in the development of elite sport, through policy, and to investigate other contributing factors for elite sporting success. A logic model illustrated the input-throughput-output pillars of the SPLISS framework, and aided in the interpretation of both a theoretical and rival proposition (Yin, 2018). This thesis purpose, accomplished in part by exploring the most successful elite sport in Jamaica,
athletics (track and field), incorporated three interconnected studies on that developing country’s national sport system, a sport system that produced its first Olympic success in 1948, forty-six years before the introduction of national sport policy.
Three interconnected studies allowed for findings that highlighted the roots of Jamaica’s sport development, beginning with the introduction of a school and community sport system by the former colonial British government, and retained and expanded by the Jamaican government from 1962. The findings also highlighted that the school and community sport systems facilitated a local approach to the development and training for athletics. It included factors outside of the influence
of government, such as the impact of coaches and role models that assisted in creating a fraternity in the sport through tradition, culture and passion, and established an environment for elite sport. This environment involved a collaboration between educational institutions and the professional local club system, and represents the critical elements in the success of athletics, indicating that the influence of government policies for sport development was not impacting international sporting success up to 2017.
The interconnected studies also provided support for gaps identified in the SPLISS
framework and the literature on elite sport policy. For SPLISS, the findings provided evidence in understanding what happens when input factors are processed (the ‘black box’) leading to outputs, and national outcomes. For the literature, the thesis found that an historical context is important in understanding the coalescing of micro-, macro-, and meso-level factors for elite sporting success.

The aim of the thesis is to identify and compare the organization of sports activities of academic clubs at selected universities. The goal of the thesis is to find out how students perceive the importance of university sports and how is the historical development of university sports reflected in its current form. The objective is fulfilled via qualitative research method enabled by explorative nature of research. The individual data from various sources collected by method of questioning, interviewing and study of documents were concentrated and subsequently evaluated. The thesis concludes that the organization of academic sports clubs is different in several examined criteria. Another conclusion is that students have positive attitude towards sport at universities and perceive it as an importance for them and for every university. The organization of academic sports clubs is bonded to traditions acquired through the historical development, but the importance is not as significant as in the past.

The hosting of major sports events is commonly assumed to generate positive outcomes and impacts for different beneficiaries, which often is the premise for public investment in them. Set against a backdrop of increased competition for elite sporting success and the desire to host events globally in recent years, the author's published research investigates some of these consequences. One aspect of the research critically analyses the consequences generated by event attendees for non-attendees in economic impact terms. It also addresses the issue of attendance measurement, which is of particular relevance to event economic impact analysis, in the context of events that are free-to-view. Furthermore, the research evaluates non-monetary consequences for event attendees from the perspective of spectators and competitors. In terms of spectators, it focuses on potential sport development effects (attitudinal changes towards sport participation) arising from event attendance. For competitors, it concentrates on elite performance issues including the home advantage phenomenon. The research was quantitatively driven and utilised a combination of primary data collection via surveys (for the economic impact and sport development aspects) and secondary data analysis (for the elite performance aspect). This paper identifies the main gaps in knowledge that are addressed by the research and teases out the contribution of the published works to contemporary academic thinking and industry practice. In doing so, it reveals the capacity of sports events to deliver monetary and non-monetary outcomes and impacts, technical issues and practical challenges associated with their assessment, and the nature of relationships between the work themes. The practical implications of the research programme for event organisers, national governing bodies and public funding agencies are discussed and general direction for future research is proposed.

The master's thesis is elaborated on the basis of the project of the Sport and Health Center Olomouc. The project consists of two main buildings – the object of NH Hotel and the Sports Center Omega. The hotel also includes a conference center with three conference halls and covered parking. The object of Omega Sports Center is composed of sports halls for squash, badminton and tennis, along with changing rooms, wellness area and operational background of the object itself. The sports center also incorporates outdoor tennis courts and an underground tunnel connecting the Omega center and the NH Hotel. This thesis deals with the civil technological project of the building site and involves mainly the technical report of civil technological project, the study of realization of the main technological stages of the building object, the project of organization of construction, time schedule of aforementioned two main buildings, the technological standard with test and execution plans for the execution of underground construction by the impermeable concrete technology and for execution of variant solution of tennis hall roofing. Further, a comparison of the alternative roofing technology with current used roofing technology is performed, including the drawing documentation of new roofing alternative.

Därmed är det inte alldeles självklart vilka personer som har ett arbete som kan kallas sport manager. Definitionerna som därmed blir av central roll i studien är idrottssektorn, idrottsorganisationer och sport manager. Att ta del av dessa definitioner är viktigt för att kunna ta till sig av det resultat som framkommit.</p><p>Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på vilka kvalifikationer som krävs på idrottens arbetsmarknad inom yrket sport manager, samt vad en sport manager har för arbetsuppgifter. Detta utforskas genom två skilda men samtidigt kompletterande delstudier.</p><p>Detta leder till följande två frågeställningar:</p><p>• Vilka kvalifikationer efterfrågas hos den jobbsökande och vilka arbetsuppgifter anger idrottsorganisationerna att den jobbsökande kommer att få i sin managertjänst?</p><p>• Vilka arbetsuppgifter och kvalifikationer krävs i det vardagliga arbetet för de personer som har managertjänster inom idrottssektorn?</p><p>I delstudie ett har 25 jobbannonser undersökts för att ta reda på vad idrottsorganisationer betonar gällande arbetsuppgifter och kvalifikationer. I delstudie två har intervjuer gjorts med tio sport managers för att få deras bild av vilka arbetsuppgifter man har och vilka kvalifikationer som behövs.</p><p>Resultatet från delstudie ett visar att man som sport manager framförallt jobbar med/behöver kvalifikationer inom följande femton områden: planering och organisering, leda, erfarenhet, kunskap kring idrottssektorn, ansvar, personalhantering, ekonomi, utbildning, utveckla, projekt, intresse/engagemang, samarbetsförmåga, kontakter externt, initiativrik och kunna kommunicera.</p><p>Resultatet från delstudie två visar att man som sport manager framförallt jobbar med/behöver kvalifikationer inom följande tio områden: ekonomi, personalhantering, externa kontakter, projekt, utveckling, överblick över alla delar, leda, kunskap kring idrottssektorn, utbildning och erfarenhet.</p><p>Ingenting från de två studierna motsäger varandra. Båda studierna visar att som sport managers anses det viktigare att ha kunskap kring idrottssektorn än att ha en formell akademisk utbildning. Samtidigt framhävs just generalistkunskapen för sport managers, dock i olika stor omfattning beroende på vilken chefsposition som besitts. Vissa sport managers kan dessutom behöva specifik kunskap inom något område.</p>

Ce travail interroge l'organisation, la professionnalisation et la culture d'une pratique sportive émergeante en France au cours des années 1970 : le Bicycle Moto Cross - BMX. Une double perspective est adoptée: une analyse stratégique et une analyse sensible - examinant respectivement la "dynamique du dehors" et la "dynamique du dedans". Les résultats empiriques, issus d'une enquête de terrain et d'entretiens semi-directifs ont permis : D'une part, de comprendre comment la dynamique de professionnalisation des experts de BMX - Bicross - a été contrecarré par la "personnalité " singulière du BMX, structurée autour d'une valeur centrale: l'autonomie. Le système BMX a lutté contre la stratégie de récupération opérée par l'Union Cycliste Internationale pour s'accaparer le contrôle et la gestion de cette pratique sportive nouvelle et de ses dérivés. Cette résistance aux niveaux international et national n'a cependant pas permis d'éviter l'intégration au sein de cette dernière entité. D'autre part, de saisir de manière concrète et sensible les conditions de professionnalisation des experts de Bicross au travers d'une fiction statique, attachée à sa nappe de sens. A partir de cette ethnographie, les "traits de personnalité" de la culture BMX sont dégagés : les sentiments de précarité, de stigmatisation et de ségrégation animent les experts de BMX, composés de deux tendances : le Bicross et le Freestyle. Bien que partageant une histoire commune, des divergences existent au niveau des fmalités de chaque pratique et de leurs modes d'action; de l'attitude développée vis-à-vis de l'organisation au sein de la Fédération Française de Cyclisme et de la professionnalisation<br>This research questions the organization, the professionalisation and the culture of a sporting practice emerging in France during the '70s: the Bicycle Moto Cross - BMX. A double prospect is adopted: a strategie analysis and a sensitive approaeh - respectively examining the "dynamics of the outside' and the "dynamics of the inside". The ernpirieal issue, resulting trom a fieldwork and semi-structured interviews, made it possible: On the one hand, to understand how the professionalisation dynamic of the BMX experts was thwarted by the singular "personality" of the BMX, whic is structured around a centraI value: autonomy. BMX System fought against the strategy of recovery operated by the International Union Cyclist to monopolize the control and the management of this new sporting practice and of its derivatives. However this resistance at the international and natiom level did not make it possible to avoid integration within last entity. Ln addition, to seize in a conerete and sensitive way the conditions of professionalisation of the BMX experts through static fiction, attached to its nappl de sens (layer offeel). From this ethnography, the "traits ofpersonality" ofBMX culture are released: the feelings ofprecariousness, stigmatization and segregation animate the BMX experts, composed oftwo tendencies: the BMX and Freestyle. This study examines the conditions of womens´s participation in organized sport. The Swedish Sport Confederation and the two associations with the largest number of female members, the Swedish Gymnastics Federation and the Swedish Football Association, have been studied. Gymnastics is a traditional sport for women and is mainly a fitness sport. Soccer is a competitive sport and a new sport for women. The discussions and decisions of the sports associations regarding women and sport have been analyzed through studies of official documents, minutes and debates. An interview study with female leaders in gymnastics and soccer completes the analysis of the documents. Women represent just over a third of the members of the sports movement. Women participate in fewer sports than men. They only dominate in non-competitive and in aesthetic sports. According to this study there is no female sport or womens´sport - apart from gymnastics - only male sport with female participants. The attitude of the sports movement is that women and men are different but the form and rules of competitive sport are based on equality. The social gender system and thus mens´control over womens´ participation in sport is obvious in the sport movement. Three female counterstrategies have been identified: in the beginning of the 20th century female gymnastics coaches developed a form of gymnastics for women based on the ideology of peculiarity; in the 1970s women claimed equality with men for their breakthrough into soccer; in the 1980s women try to combine the ideologies of equality and peculiarity through male sport behaviour and the accentuation of traditional femininity. Womens´subordinate position in the sports movement is reflected in the lower valuation of womens´sport performances. Sport is an essential part of male character building. The motives of health have always been emphasized for women. The official ideology has in recent years passed on to a general accentuation of the aspects of health, which has facilitated womens´participation in sport. This is contradicted by the development of top-level sport and its manifestations in the form of for example drug-taking.<br>digitalisering@umu

From the time of the early church to the present century, Christian assumptions about and theological responses to sport have been problematic. In the present century, evangelicals in North America lack a developed theological ethic about how Christians should regard modern sport--the practices, purposes, and values. What little theology there is, is an uninformed folk theology of muscular Christianity in which the primary means of evaluating sport is in terms of its instrumental utility with no recognition of goods that might be internal to sport. In this thesis, I formulate a modest Christian ethic for sport as a way toward reimagining sport in the Christian life as an embodied, penultimate good. I have chosen Augustine, John Paul II, and Dietrich Bonhoeffer as the three primary interlocutors with whom to shape a theological discourse about and construct for modern sport. Together, they assist in exploring fundamental convictions of the Christian tradition and determining what bearing these should have on Christian moral reflection and deliberation on this cultural activity. In chapter one, Augustine‘s ethic is organized around three integral motifs: God and happiness, ordered and disordered loves, and the use and enjoyment of goods. By beginning here, a Christian ethic addresses the charges against Augustine‘s idealism set in the historical context of ancient Rome where the Christian tradition first engaged sport extra-biblically. These motifs lay the groundwork for how a Christian might relate to sport. In chapter two, I examine an exemplary modern attempt—by the American philosopher Paul Weiss—to give a moral and philosophical account of sport. Weiss develops a philosophy of sport around themes derived from classical Greek literature, including bodily excellence, anthropology, and teleology. Weiss‘s Greek ideals and philosophical categories function as heuristic tools because many issues of modern sport are connected in a variety of ways to these ancient Greek ideals. Weiss forms a bridge historically and philosophically to thicken our description of modern sport, to refine this thesis‘s analysis of some important categories native to modern sport, and to focus on what this phenomenon entails for a Christian ethic today. In chapter three, I engage with John Paul II's complex and rich account of the internal moral and theological goods of sport. John Paul II's personalism provides a much stronger basis for analyzing the goods intrinsic to sport than does Weiss--one that is, moreover, consistent with (while building on) the Augustinian foundation laid in chapter one. I demonstrate that in John Paul II's theology of sport, sportive actions find a significant analogue in the Christian doctrine of creation in relation to the body of the athlete, in which perspective sport may be seen as sign and gift shared with other embodied sportspersons. I propose that sport is an ontic-embodied good and gift that is only properly conceptualized in a Christian ethic, an ethic in which the pursuit of excellence is an objective that fulfils the dignity and worth of the whole human person. By contrast, Paul Weiss' philosophy of sport instrumentalizes embodied pursuits, such as sport. In chapter four, Dietrich Bonhoeffer‘s Christological basis for Christian ethics serves to repair the persistent problem of dualism—two-sphere thinking—for modern muscular Christianity. Bonhoeffer‘s comprehensive vision of reality places Christ at the center of life and existence so that the question of the good becomes the realization of the reality of God in Christ. Therefore, a Christian ethic does not justify how the reality of God in Christ relates to sportive culture by appealing either to the sacred or secular, but justification is in Christ, since He has drawn and holds it all together. In chapter five, I continue with the problem of modern muscular Christianity in order to constructively reimagine how to relate the reality of Christ as the ultimate to sportive reality, the penultimate. This eschatological paradigm further organizes the final chapter in two important ways. First, the logic of sport is often governed by alien ends and loves. Augustine‘s ethic refines this problem as a matter of how the practice of sport can educate our desires according to competing teloi. Second, I elucidate the importance of St. Paul‘s sport metaphor (1 Cor 9:24-27) as another angle for interpreting and ethically engaging the complex lived experience of sport itself. This sport metaphor functions eschatologically to integrate sport and the Christian life and to ennoble this activity as a practice for moral and spiritual formation.

This study draws upon a wide range of research to examine underachievement in UK schools. With underachievement continuing to be present within the UK’s educational system, it is essential that a remedy is found. The notion that physical activity is linked to an increase in academic performance is not a new concept; however researchers are still trying to determine the scope of such a claim. There is a widespread belief that sport can be used as a vehicle to promote positive youth development. In particular, using sport to teach adolescents various life skills has become popular over the previous decade. However, little research has looked at the transfer of life skills into other academic and life domains. Therefore the overarching purpose of this study was to determine if an after-school, sports based life skills programme had any impact on male underachievement within the UK education system. The Transfer-Ability Programme (TAP) was a multi-faceted intervention, which sought to teach twenty underachieving, male students life skills through sport. The results have been presented in three phases with Phase 1 determining the impact of TAP on academic performance in Science, Phase 2 examined the perceptions of the twelve-thirteen year old participants on whether they transferred life skills from the sports hall into the classroom during TAP, and Phase 3 explored the enablers and barriers that facilitated or prevented life transfer. Statistical results indicate that the intervention groups’ academic grades significantly improved during the intervention to a level above teaching prediction. This suggests that teaching life skills through sport may reduce male underachievement. T-tests show that the participants in the intervention group perceived their learning of life skills to significantly increase pre-post TAP. Interview data also supports the notion that the intervention group participants perceived to have learnt the life skills and then transferred them into other academic domains. Phase 3 highlighted five themes that enable or prevent life skill transfer; Support from peers, Pride, Opportunities, Rewards and Transfer experience. These themes are collectively referred to as the SPORT model. The results show that young adolescent males can learn and transfer life skills if deliberately taught to do so. Finally, the findings are discussed with reference to how teachers and physical educators may teach life skills within their lessons, and how life skill transfer may be supported.

C'est la raison pour laquelle notre travail cherche a prouver que la violence en sport n'existe pas en soi et qu'elle n'est qu'une production sociale. Autrement dit, le but de cette etude est de montrer que les representations de la violence sont organisees socialement et marquees au coeur meme des sports. Pour ce faire, nous avons interroge quatre cent cinquante competiteurs masculins issus de dix pratiques sportives ainsi que soixante quinze entraineurs et presidents de club de la communaute urbaine de strasbourg. Trois questionnaires ont ete soumis, un pour chacune des positions occupees dans l'espace. Soixante interviews semi-directives ont egalement ete realisees aupres de quelques-uns de ces agents. Il apparait au vu des resultats des sportifs que la violence differe significativement selon les espaces sportifs et selon l'importance des enjeux et des types d'enjeux dans les pratiques sportives. De la meme maniere, il semble que la violence varie significativement selon les investissements sportifs des agents et leurs proprietes sociales. En ce qui concerne les entraineurs et les presidents, les resultats tendent a mettre en exergue d'une part des differences significatives entre pratiques au niveau des representations de la violence en sport et d'autre part que les presidents et les entraineurs sont de possibles gestionnaires de la violence en sport.

Resumo: Desde o final do século XIX o esporte contemporâneo vem se modificando e assumindo uma lógica que, entre outros aspectos, aponta para as estratégias de comercialização e espetacularização. Entre os seus principais disseminadores está o Comitê Olímpico Internacional (COI), não somente pelos Jogos, mas por toda a relação associativa que envolve o movimento olímpico. A problematização que norteou nosso interesse de pesquisa construiu-se a partir do momento em que identificamos a presença dessa lógica também no esporte amador, a partir das relações estabelecidas entre o Serviço Social da Indústria (SESI) e a Confédération Sportive Internationale du Travail (CSIT) entre 1996 e 2011. Como hipótese, acreditamos que tais relações orientaram-se por essa lógica do esporte moderno, fortalecida com a entrada do SESI no campo, de forma que com o passar dos anos o habitus presente na sua estrutura, incorporado em seus agentes, passou a ser predominante, alterou a lógica de funcionamento do campo e motivou as outras instituições filiadas à CSIT a aderirem ao modelo ou afastarem-se da gestão. Nesse processo, tanto o SESI como a CSIT distanciaram-se dos seus conceitos vigentes relacionados às características do esporte amador e estruturados pelo "Sport for All" e passaram a reproduzir as estratégias de mercantilização e espetacularização do esporte profissional. Os objetivos da pesquisa foram analisar como a relação entre o SESI e a CSIT foi orientada por essa lógica do esporte moderno; identificar a concepção de esporte que essas instituições adotam e desenvolvem; verificar a influência dessa relação nas diretrizes e atividades do SESI e da CSIT; descrever o surgimento do Worker Sport Movement; apresentar o conceito "Sport for All"; apresentar o processo de desenvolvimento industrial brasileiro e os desdobramentos das ações de esporte e lazer nesse contexto; e descrever a história das instituições envolvidas (SESI e CSIT). Como referencial teórico metodológico de análise, utilizamos os constructos da Sociologia Reflexiva de Pierre Bourdieu para fazer a leitura do subcampo do esporte para trabalhadores, identificando suas estruturas e agentes, e então analisar as suas relações. Na sequência , realizamos uma aproximação destes com a Sociologia Compreensiva de Max Weber especificamente a partir dos conceitos de "sentido" da ação social e da relação social associativa, nos termos weberianos, apontando indícios de dominação e burocracia. Diante dos documentos históricos e entrevistas analisadas concluímos que as relações entre o SESI e a CSIT, entre 1996 e 2011, orientaram-se pela lógica do esporte moderno, pautada pelo modelo associativo olímpico e contemplando a reprodução das estratégias de espetacularização (aspirando a mercantilização também) do esporte profissional, incidindo, dessa forma, no distanciamento dos seus conceitos vigentes, relacionados às características do esporte amador e estruturados pelo "Sport for All". Contudo, dada a presença de outras Uniões no subcampo do esporte para trabalhadores e o próprio vínculo do SESI com o campo industrial, concluímos que os conceitos vigentes também se mantém presentes, mesmo que distanciados. Ou seja, novamente referindo-se à Weber e Bourdieu, trata-se, respectivamente, de uma relação social que é orientada por duas ordens vigentes, igualmente legítimas, com uma fluidez que tende mais à uma ou à outra, conforme as disputas no interior do campo.

The thesis describes the psychological aspects of sport and theatre and tries to find possible links, similarities and differences between them. On account of these similarities and differences, the thesis examines the way in which sport and theatre influence one another. Its goal is to find common principles of sport and theatre and circumstances under which sport and theatre activities take place. It examines the potential of sport for theatre use and for stage practice; attention is drawn especially to martial art disciplines and their utility in theatre and then to benefits of learning martial arts within theatre studies. Some examples of a more concrete connection between sport and theatre are also mentioned.

Mais, traditionnellement considere comme une activite physique, caracterisee par le respect de certaines regles en vue de se divertir, le sport tend aujourd'hui a se modifier notablement (ou changer de nature) en raison du developpement croissant des enjeux accentue par la mediatisation contemporaine. Dans ces circonstances, il etait donc normal que l'intervention de la matiere juridique au sein de l'activite sportive se trouve nettement renforcee. Ce phenomene est particulierement net en ce qui concerne les regles de responsabilite. En effet, en raison des risques qui lui sont inherents, le sport est frequemment soumis a des regles de responsabilite de nature diverse. Les responsabilites civile (delictuelle et contractuelle), penale administrative et disciplinaire interviennent ainsi frequemment dans l'activite sportive. Par ailleurs, ces responsabilites concernent tant les acteurs eux-memes les sportifs que les organisateurs, les spectateurs ou des tiers. Cet enchevetrement de regles caracterise par une complexite certaine, est domine par l'application a la matiere sportive d'une part du droit commun de la responsabilite (civile penale et administrative) et d7autre part du droit specifique, propre a cette activite, issu de l'etat ou des instances sportives. However, as usual considered as a physical activity, caracterized by the respect of a lot of rules with some entertainment in mind, sport tends actually to change because of the increasing development of strakes marked by the contemporary mediatization. In theses circumstances, it was normal that the intervention of law in the sportiv activity was intensified. This phenom is especially marked relating to responsabilities rules. Actually, because of its inherent risks, sport is often governed by some different rules of responsability. In this way, civil, criminal, administrativ and disciplinary responsabilities take place more often in sportiv activities. Otherwise, these responsabilities concern as well actors - sportsmen - as organizers, spectators, or thirds. This confusion of rules, caracterized by a real complexity, is governed by the application on the one hand of classic responsbility's rules (civil, criminal, administrativ), and, on the other hand, by specific law, stemming from state or sportiv federations. Because of the vast number of juridic rules and in reason of the diversity of actors and ways, it seems that juridic responsabilities system in sport appears not really suited to the situation. This is true not only for the common law but also for the specific rules. So, it can be wish to create a real and new sportiv code, which could get back by simplificating the rules actually applicated by the judicial precedents

In my thesis I will deal with the draft project documentation for sport hotel. This object is located in the quiet southeastern part of Frydlant with city views and easy access to the nearby sports facilities. It is an object of part two storey and a basement. The building is set into the sloping terrain, so the underground floor extends on to the ground. The building is based on foundation walls and footings that are made of reinforced concrete. Load-bearing walls of the underground floors are designed as reinforced concrete. Ceiling structure of the building is made as reinforced concrete beam ceiling and in other structure parts as a crosswise reinforced concrete plate. Perimeter bearing walls and two floors, are designed from the acoustic sand-lime bricks Silk. External walls are warmed by a contact insulation system. Flat single shell roof was chosen over part of the restaurant. Double-layer roof with a supporting truss structures above the main part of the building. The building is divided into functional parts. Accommodation capacities are mostly on the second floor. On the ground floor there is a restaurant with a kitchen and space for staff. In the basement there is a functional part of the wellness and gym with common dressing rooms. The only entrance path allows convenient control of customers. The building is wheelchair accessible.

In spite of the assumption that teamwork is an important variable within the context of sport, formal research on this construct has been surprisingly limited. As such, the purpose of my dissertation was to examine teamwork in sport with respect to theoretical, measurement, and applied considerations. This dissertation consists of six studies which are presented in seven chapters. The introduction (chapter 1) provides a general overview of teamwork and its potential importance within sport. The first study (chapter 2) was a theoretical and integrative review of teamwork in sport. Within this chapter, a working definition of teamwork in sport, a multidimensional conceptual framework for understanding and investigating this construct, as well as a discussion of how it may relate to important variables in sport are presented. Chapter 3 consists of two studies: study 2 involved the development of a questionnaire to measure teamwork, titled the Multidimensional Assessment of Teamwork in Sport (MATS); study 3 involved an examination of the psychometric properties related to this instrument. An assessment of various group- and individual-level correlates of teamwork in sport was carried out in the fourth study, which is presented in chapter 4. The fifth study, a systematic review and meta-analysis assessing the effectiveness of controlled teamwork training interventions, is reported in chapter 5. This review was used to inform the development of a theory-based and evidence-informed protocol for enhancing teamwork in sport, which is described in the first part of chapter 6. This teamwork training protocol was then tested through a pilot intervention (study 6), which is detailed in the second part of chapter 6. This study examined the applicability of the Sport Commitment Model for a group of elite, professional athletes. The model proposes that an athlete's commitment will increase as sport enjoyment, personal investments, social constraints, and involvement opportunities increase and will decrease with an increase in involvement opportunities. The influence of identification as an athlete, a determinant of commitment not included in the original model, was also examined. One hundred and eighty three professional football players from the Canadian Football League (CFL) (n = 121) and National Football League (NFL) (n = 69) participated in the study. Each subject completed a modified version of the original questionnaire developed to test the constructs in the Sport Commitment Model (Scanlan, Simons, Carpenter, Schmidt, & Keeler, 1993) during a team meeting. Internal consistency reliabilities for the final items in all seven scales were acceptable. Confirmatory factor analysis indicated marginal overall fit (AGFI = 0.757) demonstrating good construct validity and discriminant validity for each scale. Zero-order correlations between commitment and its predictor constructs were significant and in the hypothesized direction for all predictor constructs except social constraints. The correlation between commitment and social constraints was negative and nonsignificant. The simultaneous regression analysis results found the predictor constructs accounted for 38% of the variance in commitment. Identification uniquely accounted for the most variance followed by enjoyment, involvement alternatives, and involvement opportunities. Only personal investments and social constraints did not contribute a significant amount of unique variance to sport commitment. The importance and meaning of the relationships between commitment and its determinants for professional athletes are discussed, as well as directions for future research.

Since the late nineteenth century boxing in England has been socially organised into two ideologically distinctive versions - amateur and professional boxing – that to this day are practiced in spatially segregated social universes. Nonetheless, both amateur and professional boxing-practitioners understandings and lived experiences in and through boxing are necessarily grounded in the wider social and cultural contexts through which they interpret meaning and construct worldviews and identity. Thus despite the institutional, ideological and spatial boundaries demarcating either code, on a rather more subtle yet incredibly powerful cultural level, amateur and professional boxing are both symbolically and practically deeply intertwined. Over a five year period, I conducted ‘insider’ ethnographic research among distinct cohorts of amateur and professional boxers based in Luton and London to investigate the lived experiences and socially constructed worldviews, values and identities developed by practitioners immersed in either code. The overriding aim of this research was to critically evaluate the limits and possibilities of boxing-practitioners association with and development through ‘boxing’ henceforth. The findings of this ethnography reveal that it was common for the amateur and professional boxing-practitioners studied to cultivate empowering identities through intersubjective and socially validating instances of purposefulness, expressivity, creativity, fellowship and aspiration. These lived dimensions were grounded in sensuous, symbolic and emotional attachments respective to the social organization defining the social practice of either code of boxing. Equally, the research reveals that under the veneer of collective passion for and consequent fellowship experienced through boxing, an undercurrent yet ever-present sense of dubiety, tension and intra-personal conflict was in evidence among both the amateur and professional boxing-practitioners studied. It is suggested, therefore, that as a consequence of an array of both micro and macro post-industrial societal reconfigurations defining the structural principles of amateurism and professionalism in the practice of ‘boxing’, contemporary boxers are increasingly predisposed to developing athletic identities predisposed towards patterns of meaning production “…dominated by market-mediated consumer choice and the power of individualism” (Jarvie 2006 p. 327). Thus through complex, historically dynamic and seemingly paradoxical social processes of cultural (re)production and transformation - dialectically fusing individualistic aspirations geared towards self-interested gain, acts of group and subcultural fellowship and social resistance to measures of institutionalised control - it is argued that the role of boxing as an agent for humanistic personal and social development in the contemporary late-modern era of structural reconfiguration is progressively rendered impotent.
