Abstract:
Tento článek se zabývá problémem těžké volby při srovnávání dvou velmi odlišných alternativ. Takové srovnání můžeme akceptovat jako skutečné dilema, nebo odmítnout jako chybné posouzení, protože se srovnává něco nesrovnatelného. Ale co přesně namítáme, když někoho kritizujeme, že srovnává nesrovnatelné? Co vlastně znamená, když o někom řekneme, že srovnává jablka s hruškami? Ukážeme si, že hlavním zdrojem problému není skutečnost, že se srovnávají položky různého druhu, ale spíše potřeba zohledňovat relevantní kontexty. Náročnost porovnání je úzce svázána s náročností jeho zdůvodnění. Skutečnost, že se srovnává nesrovnatelné, se pak projevuje ve vadách takového zdůvodnění. Zejména v tom, že se nedostává uspokojivá odpověď na praktické otázky, proč se v daném kontextu porovnávají zrovna tyto dvě položky, proč se zde porovnávají podle tohoto a ne jiného kritéria a co z takového porovnávání pro tento kontext vlastně vyplývá. Problém srovnávání nesrovnatelného bude ilustrován na příkladech z estetiky, etiky a teorie práva. This article deals with the hard choice when comparing two very different alternatives. Such a comparison can be accepted as a true dilemma or it can be rejected as a wrong evaluation because it is compared something incomparable. But what exactly do we object to by criticizing someone for comparing the incomparable? What does it mean to say that someone compares apples with oranges? I will show that the main source of the problem is not the fact that items of different kinds are compared, but rather the need to take into account relevant contexts. The difficulty of comparison is closely linked to the hardness of its justification. The fact that it is comparing the incomparable is then reflected in the defects of such a justification. Especially in the absence of a satisfactory answer to the practical questions why just these two items are compared in the given context, why they are compared here according to this and not another criterion, and what follows from such a comparison for this context. The problem of comparing the incomparable will be illustrated by examples drawn from aesthetics, ethics and legal theory.

Abstract:
Introduction: The degree of efficacy and duration of effect of the intragastric balloon (IGB) can be variable and unpredictable. The Spatz Adjustable Intragastric balloon (AIGB) was developed to extend implantation to 1 year, decrease the balloon volume for intolerance and increase the volume for a diminishing effect. The utility/efficacy and responder rate with the Spatz3 AIGB were the subjects of this study. Methods: The results of 227 consecutive patients, without exclusions, in 3 centres implanted with the Spatz3 AIGB were reviewed retrospectively. Mean BMI 35.9; mean weight 99.6 kg; mean Excess Body Weight Loss (EBWL) 30.6%; mean balloon volume 464ml (400–500 ml). Balloon volume adjustments were offered: downward adjustments for intolerance and upward adjustments for weight loss plateau. Results: 227 patients were implanted (mean 10.3 months) yielding a mean weight loss of 15.8 kg; mean 15.7% Total Body Weight Loss (TBWL) and 57.6% Excess Body Weight Loss (EBWL). Response (> 25% EBWL) was achieved in 83.3% of the patients. Downward adjustments in 15 patients (mean 2.3 weeks; mean –120 ml) allowed 12/15 (80%) to continue IGB therapy for a mean of 8.8 months. Upward adjustments in 107 patients (mean of 4.7 months; mean +284ml) yielded an additional mean weight loss of 8.5 kg. The upward-adjusted group at extraction had a mean weight loss of 17.8 kg; 17.2% TBWL and 59.2% EBWL. Two gastric ulcers: one due to NSAIDs and one healed with downward adjustment. Conclusions: In this retrospective review of 227 consecutive Spatz3 AIGB patients, upward adjustments yielded a mean 8.5 kg extra weight loss for those with a weight loss plateau, and downward adjustments alleviated early intolerance in 80% of the patients. These two adjustment functions may be instrumental in yielding a response rate of 83.3%

Abstract:
The current legislation calls for fast electrification of vehicle powertrains, since it is necessary to fulfil the CO2 requirements for the vehicle fleets. The hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) with parallel powertrain topologies – together with pure battery electric vehicles (BEV) – are the most common ways of electrification. However, the HEV powertrain – opposed to the BEV or conventional powertrain – poses an interesting challenge associated with the control system design to achieve the ideal power split between an internal combustion engine (ICE) and electrical machines (EM) during the whole vehicle operation.The presented paper sums up the specific functions and requirements on a control system, together with the description of general control strategy options for a HEV powertrain. The proposed control strategy then combines heuristic rules with a suboptimal numerical control method, calculating the optimal power split ratio based on the efficiencies of ICE and EMs. This control strategy is built into a modular algorithm in Matlab/Simulink for two different parallel HEV powertrain topologies: P2 and P0P4. It is subsequently coupled with a vehicle models created in GT-Suite environment and tested on a WLTC homologation driving cycles. The following simulation tests show the fuel consumption reduction potential for chosen HEV topologies working in hybrid modes, in comparison to a base operation with conventional mode only. Yet, the heuristic rules can be further optimized to obtain even better overall results.Současná legislativa tlačí výrobce vozidel k okamžité elektrifikaci pohonu, protože je to v tuto chvíli jediná možnost, jak dostát požadavkům na flotilové emise CO2. Nejběžnější formou elektrifikace pohonu jsou v dnešní době vozidla s paralelním hybridním pohonem anebo bateriové elektromobily. Nicméně hybridní pohon, na rozdíl právě od konvenčního nebo čistě elektrického pohonu, představuje zajímavé výzvy spojené s návrhem řídicího algoritmu, který musí v každém okamžiku zajišťovat optimální rozdělení výkonu mezi spalovací motor a elektromotor.Tento článek v úvodu krátce shrnuje specifické funkce a požadavky na takový řídicí algoritmus, společně s obecným přehledem možných řídicích strategií hybridních vozidel. Následně je navržena řídicí strategie kombinující heuristická pravidla se suboptimální numerickou metodou, která vypočítává parametr optimálního dělení výkonu na základě účinností spalovacího motoru a elektromotoru. Na základě navrhnuté strategie je v programu Matlab/Simulink vytvořen modulární řídicí algoritmus pro dvě paralelní hybridní topologie: P2 a P0P4, který je následně propojen s modely vozidel vytvořenými v simulačním prostředí GT-Suite a testován v homologačním cyklu WLTC. Nakonec je prezentováno několik testů řídicího algoritmu, které demonstrují úsporu paliva vybraných topologií hybridního vozidla pracujících v hybridních režimech, ve srovnání s provozem pouze v konvenčním režimu pohonu. Avšak heuristická pravidla mohou být dále optimalizována, s cílem dosáhnout ještě příznivějších celkových výsledků.

The theoretical part explains the basic important concepts which relate to the thesis. In the practical part are processed individual methods of valuation for 2015 and 2016 and localities - outskirt and center of České Budějovice. The output of the practical part is comparison of the usual price and the price established. Finally, we evaluate the factors that affect the cost of family houses.

The diploma thesis „The Comparison of Prices of a Family House in Different Parts of the Brno city in the years 2016 and 2017“ focuses on the usual price and the detected price of a selected house in 2016 and 2017 and on the factors influencing these prices. The regulation No. 441/2013 coll. is used for year 2016 and the regulation No. 441/2013 coll. is used for year 2017. Further more, the market valuation is carried out by the direct comparison method. In this diploma thesis the representative house is valuated by the same methods but is situated in two different locations. The outcome of the thesis assessment of the usual prices and detected prices and of the factors that influences these prices. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on explanation of the basic concepts used in the valuation and on the basic valuation methods.

The thesis "Comparison of Family House Prices in Selected Locations in the District of Karviná in 2016 and 2017" deals with the awarding of the selected family house at the usual price established in 2016 and 2017 and the determination of the price difference in these years. The family house is fictitious at the beginning in one of the selected locations of the district of Karviná and is then placed in 3 other selected localities. The usual price is determined by comparison. Comparison is made with similar family homes offered for sale in real estate ads. The price determined for 2016 for the year 2017 is determined according to the valuation regulations. In the theoretical part of the thesis are defined and explained the basic important concepts related to valuation and methods of valuation are approximated. In the practical part of the thesis are elaborated various methods of valuation for the years 2016 and 2017 for chosen RD located in selected locations of Karviná district, namely the town of Orlová, the statutory city of Havířov, the town of Bohumín and the village of Petrovice near Karviná. The output of the practical part of the thesis is a comparison of the prices of the usual and discovered ones and they are evaluated by the factors that make the individual prices change.

The aim of my work entitled "Comparison of the valuation of houses in and around Bludov" is to describe the various valuation methods, which apply to selected properties. A great focus is on the issues of valuation porocedures. The practical part deals with the comparison of prices, resulting from the various valuation methods. The following section deals with the comparison methods of valuation which is applied to five houses in the district Šumperk. The essence of this work is to use the comparative (nevyhláškovou) method for obtaining property prices within the period of 2011-2013. I have created a database of properties from the surrounding area. The result is to reveal how did the price of houses vary during those last 3 years.

The family house is located in the village of Bělkovice-Lašťany. This village is located in the northern area of the statutory city of Olomouc. Next, I will place a family house fictitiously in the town of Náměšť na Hané and in the town district Nemilany, which is the peripheral part of the statutory city of Olomouc. For specified locations, the price is determined and the usual price is compared and determines factors influencing the house price. The diploma thesis deals with comparison of family prices in selected localities in the Ostrava-city district in the years 2017 and 2018. These are the localities of Hošťálkovice and Slezská Ostrava, which make up town districts and the village of Šenov. For these locations, I will determine the price and the usual price for 2017 and 2018. Based on the project documentation provided for the new family house, I will also prepare an itemized budget and evaluate it all. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with the introduction and explanation of terminology, with the introduction of legal regulations, a comparative method, on the basis of which I will determine the price of the usual and comparative method according to the valuation rules, which will determine the price determined. There is also generally mentioned the method of determining the price of the building work.
