Abstract:
The state of the global economic system is described by a large number of parameters. It is interesting to find out whether it is possible to collapse these parameters into a single symbol (image, logograph) that would describe the state of the global economic system as a whole. A discrete dynamic model (DDM) was used to describe the global economic system. DDM states can be divided into unstable and stable. The degree of instability of the DDM can be used to assess the likelihood that the economic system would emerge from an unstable state. In turn, stable states are divided into stable point

Abstract:
In this paper we study the possibility of construction indicators-precursors relying on one of the most power-law tailed distributions – Levy’s stable distribution. Here, we apply Levy’s parameters for 29 stock indices for the period from 1 March 2000 to 28 March 2019 daily values and show their effectiveness as indicators of crisis states on the example of Dow Jones Industrial Average index for the period from 2 January 1920 to 2019. In spite of popularity of the Gaussian distribution in financial modeling, we demonstrated that Levy’s stable distribution is more suitable due to its theoretica

In spite of popularity of the Gaussian distribution in financial modeling, we demonstrated that Levy’s stable distribution is more suitable due to its theoretical reasons and analysis results. We study the possibility of construction indicators- precursors relying on one of the most power-law tailed distributions - Levy’s stable distribution. Here, we apply moving window based procedure for calculation of Levy’s parameters - a - stability and /?- skewness for daily values of Dow Jones Industrial Average (from 1 March 2000 to 28 March 2019), the gold price (from 1 April 1968 to 8 May 2019) and

Abstract:
Soil carbon (C) storage is a globally important ecosystem service with potential to contribute to climate change mitigation. Wetlands are heavily researched for this. Most studies focus on total C quantification; there is limited methods that evaluate differences in C stability and vulnerability to mineralization within the C pool. Permanganate oxidizable C (POXC) is a well-established soil health indicator shown to be sensitive to changing conditions or management regimes and may prove equally informative. This research quantified POXC in six diverse wetland soils, then evaluated the relation

Abstract:
Theory and empirical work have shown that long-term finance is critical for households, firms and government and for the overall development of the economy. The development of efficient and sustainable long-term financial markets, however, depends on macroeconomic stability and an effective institutional framework. Policy initiatives, including tax policy, regulation and competition policies can also improve the availability of long-term finance within these more fundamental constraints. However, country characteristics including size and demographic structure also play an important role. When
