Surveys were administered to 177 gay males to understand this phenomenon. Anxious attachment style and base sex drive were found to be the strongest predictors of, respectively, interest in uncommitted sex and interest in (stable) sentimental relationships. AbstractUnderstanding the process of wood formation and its dynamics over the growing season is fundamental to interpret the isotopic signature of tree rings. Indeed, the isotopic signal recorded in wood does not only depend on the conditions influencing carbon, water, and nitrogen uptake in the leaves and roots, but also on how these elements are translocated to the stem and incorporated into the developing xylem. Depending on environmental conditions, tree developmental stage, and physiological status, wood formation dynamics can vary greatly and produce tree-ring structures carrying specifi

Abstract:
We examine how market structure, market power, and systemic risk respond to close and intense lending relationships between financial conglomerates (FCs) in non-centrally cleared bilateral repo. Using transaction-level data from Mexico, we document persistent and stable funding relationships between FC-affiliated banks and funds with two distinctive features: first, funding transactions are two-way, that is, a given pair of rival FCs provide lending to one another on the same day; second, two-way transactions are executed at lower average rates than one-way transactions. We show that two-way l

Abstract:
This seminar introduces longitudinal panel data models in Mplus using SEM, including latent growth models (i.e., latent curve or latent trajectory models) and cross-lagged panel models (i.e., panel vector autoregression) with random and fixed effects, including the random intercept cross-lagged panel model (RI-CLPM) to assess time-varying and stable relationships. Short-run and long-run effects will be covered and methods for assessing them provided. An official Instats certificate of completion is provided at the conclusion of the seminar.

Abstract:
Research studies from a range of countries indicate that, despite differences in policies, youth who age out of state care have significant similarities in outcomes globally. These young people have difficulty finding stable and affordable housing; accessing a social network, healthcare, and supportive and safe social relationships; and engaging in education, training, and employment. The present report, focused on youth aging out of residential care and detention in Belize, aims to contribute to the growing literature on frameworks, models, programs, and best practices to address service gaps

Abstract:
Review question / Objective: Reported levels of amyloid-beta and tau in human cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) are evaluated to discover if these biochemical markers can predict the transition from Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) to Alzheimer’s disease (AD). A systematic review and quantitative meta-analyses are performed to test relationships between three potential biomarkers in CSF (Aβ(1-42), T-tau, and P-tau181) and the evolution of AD in longitudinal evaluations of levels relative to baseline, using prior-published experimental data. The primary focus of the analysis is on the period describing
