Wind power generation is gaining popularity as an environmentally friendly renewable energy source. However, the output voltage of a wind generator usually varies according to the wind speed, requiring a power converter to produce a stable DC voltage. The author of this research aims to implement a Joule Thief Buck-Boost Converter on a neodymium wind power generation system. Joule Thief is a DC-DC converter that has the ability to convert a low input voltage into a higher output voltage, and can maintain a relatively stable output voltage despite changes in the input voltage. The new H.P. injector driving circuit consists of a voltage booster circuit and an originally designed three-stage power MOSFETs injector driving circuit to control the dc-link power supply voltage. Abstract:
In this work, we propose the P-MOS diode structure with triple-well process plus MIM capacitors, to establish two non-volatile boosters for flash memory products. Every connecting point in circuits, avoiding the occurrence of dielectric breakdown in gate oxide or p-n junction, was precisely conceived and examined. As the consideration of the system-on-chip (SoC), two stabilized-voltage circuits and two internal ring oscillators were built in. Additionally, to couple the voltage and to stabilize the voltage after several signal-transfer stages, obtaining the output voltage with DC 12V and DC20V

Abstract:
The stability of the interface between the cathode and the solid electrolyte (SE) has been found to be a key determinant of solid-state battery (SSB) performance. While interfacial failure from electro-chemical cycling has been studied, temperature effects on the chemical and electrochemical evolution of interface properties are not well-understood. We utilize a dense additive-free LiCoO2 cathode, which provides controlled morphology and crystallography, and well-known high voltage halide SEs (Li₃InCl₆ and Li₃YCl₆) to eliminate the need for cathode coating to explore the nature of interface de

Abstract:
Temperature is one of the most common physical quantities (measurand) to be measured in experimental investigations, monitoring and control of building indoor environment, thermal comfort and building energy performance. The most common temperature sensors are the thermocouples and the resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). These analog sensors are cheap, accurate, durable and easy to replace or to repair. The cable of these sensors can easily be shortened or extended. These sensors have a simple, monotonic and stable correlation between the sensor’s temperature and their resistance/voltage

Full text
Abstract:
The objectives of this research are to figure out how solid state decouplers (SSDs) influence the surveys related to pipeline cathodic protection (CP) and provide corresponding field guidelines on how to mitigate the adverse effects of SSDs. Firstly, by combining the classical capacitor discharge theory and the equivalent circuit of the CP system, a four-stage physical model is built to explain how SSDs' discharge current pulse influences the CP related readings. From the physical model, we can obtain the following conclusions: (1) The driving force behind the discharging of an SSD's capacitor
