The article substantiates the constitutional and legal status of the starosta as an official of local self-government in the conditions of decentralization of power. The normative provision of the legal status of the starosta is characterized and it is proved that the constitutional and legal norms are its basis. At the same time, the wide discretionary powers of local councils allow providing specific qualities of the starosta through the approval of the relevant Regulations on the starosta. Abstract:
V prispevku je predstavljena starostna in spolna sestava Slovencev v Vojvodini. Posebna pozornost je namenjena obdobju po 2. svetovni vojni in analizi sprememb starostne sestave. Različni pokazatelji te sestave (srednja starost, indeks staranja, idr.) so bili analizirani s pomočjo statističnih in matematičnih postopkov. Rezultati prinašajo nova spoznanja o demografsko sliko Vojvodine z vidika Slovencev in opozarjajo na njihovo neugodno starostno sestavo. So namreč ena od starejših etničnih skupin, ki jim od nadaljevanju ugotovljenih trendov grozi izumrtje.

Główny sejmik województwa sieradzkiego, który odbywał się w Szadku, uchodził za spokojny i wolny od zakłóceń. Niemniej 13 grudnia 1622 r. Szadek stał się miejscem krwawych wydarzeń. Podobno w przeddzień sejmu przybył do Szadku starosta piotrkowski Olbracht Starołęski w asyście ok. 300 mężczyzn, zajmując ze swoją świtą karczmy, które zwyczajowo służyły za nocleg innym uczestnikom sejmu. Abstract The rule of Predicate Raising (PR) was first proposed by McCawley (1968b) for the prelexical syntax of English causative verbs, such as kill. Chomsky (1972a, ‘Some empirical issues in the theory of transformational grammar’) pointed out that this rule lacked syntactic support. This chapter shows that, while that may be true for English, it is not for French. French provides evidence of the strongest kind that PR is a rule of French syntax. An analysis of certain French verbs shows that the rules relating these verbs to their semantic analyses must be closely interwoven with the rules

V prispevku obravnavamo problematiko staranja prebivalstva in izzive, s katerimi se dolgoživa družba sooča na trgu dela in v delovnem okolju. Najprej opredelimo osnovne pojme glede staranja, nato pa proučujemo demografsko strukturo prebivalstva. V nadaljevanju predstavimo stanje prebivalstva na trgu dela v starostni skupini od 55 do 64 let. Slovenska družba se stara, ob naraščajočih povprečni starosti in deležu upokojencev se zmanjšujeta deleža mladih in delovno aktivnih prebivalcev. Mednarodne primerjave kažejo, da Slovenija ni starosti prijazna družba – po evropskem indeksu zdravega staranja smo na 23. mestu med 27. članicami EU; smo na 29. mestu v svetu. Enako nizko mesto zasedamo po trajanju zdrave starosti. Najslabši smo po zaposlovanju upokojencev – od prezgodnje upokojitve do oviranja upokojencev pri delu. Abstract:
V članku predstavimo model konvolucijske nevronske mreže za ocenjevanje starosti osebe iz digitalnega posnetka. Kot osnova za naš model je bila uporabljena in modificirana obstoječa arhitektura konvolucijske nevronske mreže VGG-Face, namenjena razpoznavanju obrazov. Za učenje in testiranje sta bili uporabljeni bazi podatkov IMDB-WIKI in FG-NET. Na bazi podatkov IMDB-WIKI je bila dosežena povprečna napaka med dejansko in ocenjeno starostjo 6,7 leta, na bazi podatkov FG-NET pa je z validacijsko metodo »izpusti-eno-osebo« bila izračunana povprečna napaka med dejansko in ocenjeno starostjo 3,9 let

The aging workforce challenges companies to keep their aging employees employable in the workforce. This paper gives an indication as to which employees are more likely to be interested in further learning and employability. Specifically, the aim of this study was to investigate the role of chronological age and achievement goal orientations for informal and formal learning and employability. It was found that informal learning has a significant positive relation with several dimensions of employability. U radu je predstavljen postupak izbora najpogodnijeg numeričkog modela za utvrđivanje indeksa staništa (SI – site index) kao apsolutne mjere proizvodnog potencijala (boniteta) staništa jednodobnih nenjegovanih sastojina bijelog bora na karbonatnim supstratima u BiH.
