A second was through the practitioners’ embodiment of connections with social groups including the nation, a history and present shared between Māori and Pākehā and an idealized pre-contact past. A f

According to the results of the study, the main problematic issues of the implementation of the constitutional rights of citizens to protect honor and dignity are highlighted, the main methods of violence that are unacceptable for use in general are highlighted, including those associated with criminal acts (suspects, convicts, prisoners), as well as those not related to criminal acts (falsely accused (falsification of evidence) or provoked (throwing prohibited items), etc.). It is noted that cases of intentional pressure on a person in order to humiliate, suppress or achieve some information

This paper presents a framework for the dynamic and aeroelastic analysis of a horizontal axis wind turbine modeled as a multi-flexible-body system. The multi-rigid-body portions of the system, composed of the nacelle and hub, are modeled as a system of interconnected rigid bodies using Kane’s equations. The flexible portions, composed of the the blades and tower, are represented using nonlinear beam finite elements, taken from a mixed formulation for the dynamics of moving beams. Each analysis leads to a set of symbolic equations that can be coupled symbolically to represent the dynamic behavi

Along with other forms of security (for example – military, epidemiological, cyber security, etc.) the food security of the country's population constitutes an area of major importance regarding the successful activity of state governing bodies. Obviously, this level of importance becomes much higher under the conditions of the simultaneous appearance and operation of several risk phenomena, some of which are reflected in the given article. A time-accurate multibody dynamics model for predicting the transient response of toroidal traction drives is presented. The model can be used to predict the system’s transient response due to variations in the input speed, variations in the output load, and changing the speed ratio. The model supports half and full-toroidal configurations, multiple transmitters and multiple cavities. The multibody system representing the toroidal drive is modeled using rigid bodies, revolute joints and rotational actuators. A penalty model is used to impose the joint/contact constraints. Major multilateral arms control and disarmament treaties dealing with weapons of mass destruction (WMD) often have mandated an international organization to monitor and verify State party compliance and to handle cases of non-compliance. There are marked differences in the mandates and technical capabilities of these bodies. Nonetheless, they often face the same operational and existential challenges. This report looks at the role of multilateral verification bodies, especially their secretariats, in dealing with compliance and enforcement, the extent to which they achieve “agency” and “influe

There are many different potential roles that parents and communities can play within education systems. This essay reviews the different ways that parents and communities can exercise their individual and collective voice within local schools. It develops a typology to distinguish between three different forms of voice, and explores the enabling conditions in the wider system that each form of voice requires to improve student learning outcomes. The dominant form of voice in many current education systems is “school management”, which is commonly exercised through school management committees

The Agreement Establishing the Inter-American Development Bank (the Agreement; IDB 1959/1996) articulated the desired balance of responsibilities and power between LAC and the United States. Dive into the critical intersection of gender justice and planetary health with our latest report. As Earth’s natural systems deteriorate, marginalised communities bear the brunt, often excluded from solutions. Our report delves into how gender considerations shape global responses to planetary health crises. Daily, communities worldwide grapple with planetary health disasters—from East Africa’s famines to Europe's wildfires. Gender differences expose individuals to varying risks, from air pollution to violence. Marginalised groups, including LGBTQ+ communities, face compounded risks due to di
