Abstract : This study reveals important findings related to asset management at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, indicating a lack of integrated planning in the asset procurement system. Minimal involvement from all units and institutions contributes to inefficient and poorly coordinated procurement, as well as inadequate asset record keeping. These findings highlight the need for a systematic and collaborative approach to asset management, where proper record keeping is essential to monitor asset usage and condition, which impacts the quality of educational services. This study also fills a gap in the literature on asset management in higher education and paves the way for further research on information technology integration. However, this study has limitations, such as the focus on certain dimensions and the qualitative nature of the data. The conclusion emphasizes the need for concrete steps to improve the asset management system, including the implementation of integration strategies, resource management support, and the development of good information systems. Overall, this study provides guidance to improve the effectiveness of asset management in the context of higher education.

Abstract:

With the increasing number of developments taking place in the City of Gorontalo, it is necessary to review or evaluate the transportation infrastructure as a support for the mobilization of the Gorontalo community. The evaluation was carried out at the Saronde roundabout, which is the link to Gorontalo City Center, the Gorontalo State University campus area, the Gorontalo Mall shopping center, the Gorontalo Youth Youth field, and the Gorontalo Governor's Office House. In fact, the existence and role of the Gorontalo City Saronde roundabout is very important for the traffic dynamics of the surrounding community who use the roundabout access. The main purpose of this study is to analyze what things affect traffic congestion at the Saronde roundabout, Gorontalo city. The test method uses qualitative research where data collection is carried out by means of vehicle volume surveys, vehicle speed surveys, and road geometry surveys, which are then, analyzed using the calculation method from the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997). Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the traffic flow conditions or performance that occurred at the Saronde Roundabout in Gorontalo City in existing conditions or in 2020 have exceeded the existing capacity, namely the degree of saturation = 0.974 and the average roundabout delay = 18.06 sec/ junior high school. The existing geometry of the Saronde Roundabout in Gorontalo City is not in accordance with the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual, which is 5.50 meters in diameter.

Lisnawaty Paje. 2024 "The Influence of the Smart Indonesia Program Cash Transfers and the Family Hope Program Cash Transfers in Overcoming Poverty in Gorontalo Province". Development Economics Study Program, Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gorontalo State University, With Supervisor I, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amir Arham, M.E and Supervisor II Mrs. Fitri Hadi Yulia Akib, S.E, M.E. This research aims to determine the effect of cash transfers from the Smart Indonesia Program and the Family Hope Program on Poverty in Gorontalo Province. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and the Regional Government of Gorontalo Province for the 2018-2022 period. This research uses Panel Data Analysis using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of this research show (1) the Smart Indonesia Program Cash Transfer has a positive but not significant impact on poverty in Gorontalo Province. This is caused by inappropriate allocation and use of funds, limited beneficiary quotas so that not all underprivileged students receive assistance and there are still many individuals who have not been reached. (2) The Family Hope Program Cash Transfer has a negative but significant impact on poverty in Gorontalo Province. This is because the Family Hope Program has provided assistance to poor people to meet their basic needs, thus helping to reduce the burden of expenses they bear. As a result, many PKH participants can use their income for other purposes. In addition, the Family Hope Program has helped increase the income of poor people by providing financial assistance.
