Abstract:
Background: Patients who are diagnosed as stereo blind, during clinical assessment have reported a compelling, volumetric perception of depth during stereoscopic viewing at the cinema. This effect cannot entirely be explained by the monocular cues present in the cinematic presentation. This lead to the theory that depth from binocular cues may be more apparent when motion is included in the scene. As an object approaches in space is detected through the use of two binocular cues, changing disparity over time, and intraocular velocity difference. These cues have been previously investigated in

Permutation flowshop scheduling problem (PFSP) is a classical combinatorial optimisation problem, which has attracted much attention from academia and industry in the last two decades. However, there are still great challenges to overcome. In existing heuristic methods, jobs with similar processing times cannot be efficiently distinguished, so that jobs are not effectively sequenced, which could result in a poor scheduling solution. Also, most existing research has focused on static PFSPs with a single-objective, however, a single objective is sometimes not good enough, and multiple objectives

Resistance to extinction of single-schedule performance is negatively related to the reinforcer rate that an organism experienced in the pre-extinction context. This finding opposes the predications of behavioral momentum theory, which states that resistance to change, in general, is positively related to reinforcer rates. The quantitative model of extinction provided by behavioral momentum theory can describe resistance to extinction following single schedules in a post-hoc fashion, and only if the parameters of the model are allowed to vary considerably from those typically derived from mult
