Abstract:
This thesis describes the various methods for measuring the performance parameters of petrol engines and on the selected engine (car) evaluate their accuracy with regard to the economic complexity of the methods. In the first part of this thesis is described construction of combustion engines, explained the importance of individual performance parameters (power, torque, specific fuel consumpti-on) and characteristics combustion engines. This section, however, is focused on the issue of performance measurement, using both static and dynamic methods of measurement. The second part examined the various methods of measurement in practice on selected engine (car) with an assessment of their advantages and disadvantages and the financial cost of the-ir implementation.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with the performance measurement of tractor engine through four used different methods. In the first theoretical part of thesis is analysis engine design with its main groups and the second part explains methods of measuring performance and measuring equipment. In the practical part of thesis is the explained methodology of applied methods of measurement, together with their evaluation. The first applied method is performance measurement on the dynamometer, the second method is measurement of these parameters during free acceleration, the third method is measurement of parameters during free acceleration with load and fourth method is measurement of parameters using GPS. In conclusion of this part is to compare the results of each used measurement methods between themselves and the conclusions drawn from it.

Abstract:
The subject of this master's thesis is design measurement and measure change wheel camber angle during driving. For this task were used parts from Corrsys-Datron and remaining elements needed to be manufactured. With complete system measurements were done and outputs data were displayed by Matlab and evaluated. Based on data evaluation is possible exactly determine relative position of the wheel to the road surface and to the body of vehicle.

Abstract:
Tato práce představuje optimalizační techniky zaměřené na proces sběru výkonnostních dat v rámci výkonnostní analýzy a profilování programů v nástroji Perun.   Rozšíření architektury a implementace těchto nových optimalizačních technik v nástroji Perun (a převážně pak v jeho modulu Tracer) zlepšuje jeho škálovatelnost a umožňuje tak provádět výkonnostní analýzu i nad rozsáhlými projekty.   Zaměřujeme se především na zvýšení přesnosti sběru dat, redukci množství instrumentovaných bodů programu, omezení časové režie procesu sběru dat a výkonnostního profilování, snížení objemu sbíraných dat a velikosti výsledného výkonnostního profilu.   Optimalizace je dosažena pomocí aplikace statistických metod, množství technik statické a dynamické analýzy (případně jejich kombinací) a využitím pokročilých možností a schopností nástrojů SystemTap a eBPF.   Na základě vyhodnocení provedeného na dvou vybraných projektech a množství experimentů můžeme konstatovat, že se nám úspěšně podařilo dosáhnout značné optimalizace u téměř všech sledovaných metrik a kritérií.

Abstract:
Master thesis presents overview of existing types of check valves, their features, uses and issue called "cracking". Experimental part of this thesis focuses on the lift and swing check valves. Results of the measurement are evaluated from non-stationary flow point of view by developing and analyzing static and dynamic characteristics. This thesis takes into account losses and dynamic effects as main viewpoints. Two methods for measuring non-stationary velocities are used. Direct method called Gibson and indirect method laser doppler anemometry. Goal of the master thesis is to increase understanding of the check valves and their applicability.

There is also a description of fans and explain their characteristics depending on the pressure generated by airflow. The next part describes the design of the measuring chamber, electronics and control for fully automatic measurement of air quantities.

Abstract:
The doctoral thesis deal with the interaction between the foundation plate and deep foundation in the form of bored piles in the case of skeleton construction. The issue of tension redistribution from the column between the plate and the pile is investigated on specific object – „Shopping and entertainment center Fórum Nová Karolina”. On this object were selected columns monitored and load tests of the piles was executed. Values of the axial loading of the piles and the actual deformation of the construction have been derived from measurements and tests. They were compared with the results of structural behavior by numerical modeling.

Žofie Trpělková Student: Aneta Mrázková Title of Thesis: The study of influence of the measurement method on static angle of repose of free-flowable excipients. Good flow and consolidation properties of powders represent significant characteristics of pharmaceutical excipients They are important for manufacturing of powders into solid dosage forms. Flow behavior of 6 free flowing excipients was evaluated in this diploma thesis. The main target was a study of the influence of the masurement method and the orifice size of a conical hopper on static angle of repose (AOR). The automatic tester and the prototype for measuring AOR having orifice sizes in a range of 6-15 mm were used for the measurement. A significant difference between the results of these two methods (P <0.01) was observed. The decrease in AOR was detected when increased the orifice diameter, the effect was significant (P <0.01) only in automatic tester for two out of six measured powders. Surprisingly, the significant influence of the orifice size on AOR was registered for a sweetener Palatinose with protype equipment.
