Abstract:
This master thesis deals with calculation of steel wire ropes for cranes. Concretely is acted about calculation of wire ropes overhead crane manufactured by KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ a.s. designed for load capacities up to 25 000 kg, which is situated at hall of steelworks. Further, the calculation of wire ropes different overhead crane was made to compare the results. The solution includes calculation made using valid standards ČSN 27 0100, DIN 15020-1, FEM 1.001 and ČSN EN 13001-3-2. Finally, the procedures are evaluated and compared with each other.

The thesis deals with the optimization of production lines cover sheets for external blinds. The aim of this work is to propose appropriate investment in line for expansion of capacity and the reduction of risks in the form of cooperation. To achieve the objective I propose two alternative solutions. Combination of these two variants has been optimized with regard to investment in capacity expansion, reduce risk and achieve a fast return on investment. The conclusion describes the individual prices of investment items and annual profit from the newly formed water jet technology.

The thesis contains determination of real aerodynamics characteristics of PW09-135 flap airfoil with help of calibration method via CFD, followed by accomplishment of CFD analysis of parts and the whole Twin Shark glider. Detailed research and optimization was made to flow field quality of fuselage and wing fuselage junction. On the basis of CFD solution was determine a stability control, static margin and angle of attack of a horizontal stabilizer. The thesis concludes an evaluation of results applicability in praxis.

Abstract:
Content of this thesis deals with electromagnets as operating elements in electric machines. Thesis is divided in two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes electromagnets as electric machine , usage of electromagnets in electrical devices as operating element. Electromagnets are further divided in groups on basis of different criteria. Next, the theory of electromagnetic fields and methods of assesment of static pull and dynamic characteristics is described. Construction and function analysis of researched electromagnet with permanent magnets, which serves as trigger in compact circuit breaker, is also included in this part. Practical part includes measurement of force quantities of researched electromagnet in different operating states an its evaluation. For analysis of dynamic quantities with finite element method were created two-dimensional and three-dimensional models. Evaluation of analysis follows. After that is described simplified design of electromagnet, based onoperating states of researched electromagnet. This part is closed with comparation between results of analysis and designed values of electromagnets.

This diploma thesis deals with study of feasibility of waterpark monolithic reinforced concrete structure with roof terrace. This structure has one underground floor, which has water park utility function and two above ground floors. On the roof is terrace with grass, mobile bar and with space to relax. Subject of this diploma thesis is the main loadbearing frame, which has span 32 m. The structure is assessed according to limit states of valid norms and also takes into account construction stages and time dependent analysis. The structure is calculated on beam and slab-plate structural models. Structural analysis and general drawings are done.

The aim of this work is design and assessment of the box-girder road bridge on by-road of Bludov. Bridge is designed as composite steel concrete bridge with 5 spans with distances between supports of 31,25 m; 40,0 m; 60,0 m; 60,0 m and 40,35 m. Main bearing structure is designed as open steel box-girder with reinforced concrete deck. Box girder is braced with longitudinal and transversal bracings. Main structure is separated for each traffic direction. The bridge crosses river Morava and railway in 2nd and 3rd span, respectively. The category of road I/44 is S 21,5/100. The height of steel box girder is designed as 2,5 m. Bridge will be built by incremental launching method, with in-situ casted concrete deck afterwards. The bridge is designed according to current standards. Supporting elements are designed from steel of class S 355 and concrete of class C35/45.

In this master’s thesis I study statical solution of new office building. The load – bearing elements are appraised according to ultimate limit state. Structural analysis contains of dimensioning ceiling plate with ribs, the most stressed support column and footing. There will be applied computer simulation to finding out values of internal forces. The solution is checked by simple method of replacement frames. The main purpose of this thesis consists of elaboration structural analysis, drawing up the technical report and creation design documents of load – bearing elements.

In this diploma thesis „Static solution of hospital completion in Pisek“ I study statical solution of one new building of hospital. Statical solution includes the design and dimensioning of reinforced concrete floor structures and peripheral beams. The floor structure consists of point supported reinforced concrete slab. The floor slab is supported by columns and walls. The aim of the project is to desing and evaluate the ultimate limit state of reinforced concrete slab and beams. Also was created 3D computational model to analysis the construction, model was created in software Scia Engineer. To verify the resulting values of internal forces was used to the method of replacement frames. The thesis includes an analysis of internal forces in the structure, while based on different types of soil. Individual values are compared. Finally was made drawings of solved part of the building.

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the constructions of the industrial buildings according to the ČSN ISO 13822 Standard. In the first, theoretical part, the procedures of research and evaluation of existing reinforced concrete constructions based on the ČSN ISO 13822 and ČSN 73 0038 Standards are described. Further, the theoretical part is focused on the diagnostic methods used during the evaluation of these constructions. The practical part focuses on the evaluation of the three industrial reinforced concrete buildings. Geometry of the structure was customized to technological requests. Static system was considered in two versions – joint connections with vertical bracing and omni-directional frame. For detail processing was chosen the joint one, besause it showed up as more advantageous. The subject of my diploma thesis is to design and assess a multipurpose sports hall in the area of Brno-Bystrc. The shape of the hall is rectangular with dimensions 45 m × 48 m. The roof is designed from an arched truss. The height of the construction is 18 m. Part of the thesis is a technical report which contains details of construction, list of used materials, production and maintenance method. The work also includes the static calculation of supporting elements and joints and the graphical documentation. The valid CSN EN technical standards were used for the design and assessment.

The thesis focuses on the solution of the bridge construction made of prestressed concrete. The bridge is situated on the road II/485 and it is headed over the road I/48. Cathegory of the road communication is S 7,5. The construction is continuous and consists of five arrays. The lenght of the bridge construction is 125,1 m. The burden to the construction is according to ČSN EN 1991-2 standard. Inner forces are solved by using computational model. This model works on the FEM calculation axiom. The size is according to ČSN EN 1992-1-1 and ČSN EN 1992-2 standards.

Three preliminary designs with focus on girder bridge solution were made. As a most suitable variant was chosen two gilder beams variant. For this variant was made a static calculation concerning TDA. This design was made according EC. As a construction method was chosen classic construction with falsework. Design was made in Midas Civil and Dlubal RFEM calculation software. As a next step a drawing documentation was made as well as construction time plan and bridge visualization.

The aim of the work is to perform an inspection, construction survey of the building and evaluation of its current condition using classical survey and diagnostic methods. The work is processed as the final report from the construction and technical survey of the building. It contains its course and results. The main part of the survey is brick masonry, its failures and structural assesment. The thesis includes also survey of foundation structures, the history and description of the building.

Variant C is designed as a arched truss from the CSH profile. These versions are compared by weight, manufacturing complexity and appearance. Preferable version is processed in detail. Abstract:
A steel construction, divided into two parts, was designed for the building object of a production block of a bio power plant. The two parts separate the boiler room and the engine room. Due to the specific load caused by the operation equipment, also several plateaus, consoles, footbridges and technological constructions were designed. A system of principal pillars HEB, transversely frame-connected with plane solid girders IPE, forms the hall construction. Pillars in rows 1 and 4 are rigidly jointed to foundations. A bearing structure of the roof deck is imposed on the girders. It is composed of a system of purlins – rolled profiles type UPE. The rigidity of the roof is secured by horizontal bracing between the purlins. The construction of the boiler room is attached to the construction of the engine room, which is formed of frame-connected principal pillars HEB in rows 4,7 and 8. The roof truss IPE is designed for 12 900 mm span between rows 4 and 7 and for 4 800 mm between rows 7 and 8. The spatial rigidity of the structure is not only secured by the rigid connection of pillars and foundation combined with the frame-connected roof rungs. It is mainly maintained thanks to the system of vertical wall bracings interacting with the horizontal bracing of the roof. Between the pillar rows B, C, D, E, F and G and 8 to 9 a construction of a substation is attached. In the engine room is situated technological structure. The construction is formed by supporting frames consisting of pillars type HEA, rungs type IPE and HEA and vertical bracing of rolled profiles. Pillars type HEA are connected to foundation using articulated connection. The rigidity of the structure is secured both ways by vertical bracing and by the connection of the plateau beams with the hall girders.

The purpose of this dissertation is to take into consideration the design and the steel structure assessment of the hangar for small propeller aircraft type Cessna. The platform dimensions are 40,0 by 60,0 metres. Headroom is around 10,0 metres. The object’s location is in Brno. The main structural material is steel S355J2. There are two initial geometric alternatives, in other words structural modifications of desired solution. These are spatial truss arc tie beam and garland tie beam. The two alternatives were tentatively designed according to their dimensions and the main supporting elements of both alternatives were also assessed and considered. The alternatives were finally evaluated and one option was selected for detailed processing. In turn of the chosen option, there had been drawing of detailed analysis of the main load bearing parts of the construction with joints and some other details included. Furthermore there is drawing documentation and supervisor’s technical report attached. The valid standards CSN EN were used in processing of this dissertation.
