Class of 2007 Abstract<br>Objectives: To investigate the relationship of price and prevalence of statins when new mediations enter the market and when old medications are withdrawn from the market. Methods: Patients that received a statin were enrolled in the Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey (MCBS) from 1992 to 2002. We construct a class of solutions to the Cauchy problem of the Klein-Gordon equation on any standard static spacetime. Specifically, we have constructed solutions to the Cauchy problem based on any self-adjoint extension (satisfying a technical condition: ``acceptability") of (some variant of) the Laplace-Beltrami operator defined on test functions in a L^2 space of the static hypersurface. The thesis deals with the measurement of the elastic modulus of concrete in existing structures and possibilities of applicability of equations for the calculation of characteristic values of concrete compressive strength on the modulus of elasticity. The modulus of elasticity is determined by dynamic and static methods on specimens taken from the concrete blocks, whose composition varies by a water cement ratio and varying amounts of admixtures. In conclusion, the results of the measurements are compared and the characteristic values of the modulus of elasticity is determined.

Hot carrier effects in sub-micron lightly doped drain (LDD) n-channel MOSFETs under static (DC) stress are studied in order to establish the degradation mechanisms of such devices. Degradation is monitored as a function of time at various gate voltages. Under accelerated aging conditions (i.e. large drain voltages) the gate voltage for maximum degradation is found to be different than the gate voltage for which the substrate current is maximum; this is in contrast to the results of previous workers who found degradation and substrate current to be strongly correlated. Day-to-day reliability over two days of H-reflex gain (Hslp/Mslp) and pre-synaptic inhibition of spinal reflexes in the human soleus was measured in an initial study.
