In the present century there is an expansion in the use of telecommunication network services, because many organizations and business firms do not compromise on networking services, therefore this efficiency of networking services can be achieved only if there are reliable and proficient networking components. To provide exemplary networking services it is necessary to know what are the parameters for networking components. A standout amongst the most vital parameters is the vitality utilization or energy utilization of networking components. Subsequently, there is a need for power profiling of the network switches. Power usage of different kinds of switches, under various load scenarios are tested and recorded. The tool that we have used in this research paper to measure the powerusage factor of various switches is emonpi.

Abstract:
A novel technique for implementing statistical multiplexing (StatMux) of broadcast services over Digital Video Broadcasting for Handhelds (DVB-H) channels is proposed. DVB-H uses a time-sliced transmission scheme to reduce the power consumption used for radio reception part in DVB-H receivers. Due to the time-sliced transmission scheme, the implementation of known StatMux methods for DVB-H application presents some challenges which are addressed in this paper. The proposed StatMux technique is implemented in conjunction with the time-slicing transmission scheme. The combination is similar to a time division multiplexing (TDM) scheme. The proposed StatMux method considerably decreases the end-to-end delay of DVB-H services while it maximizes the usage of available bandwidth. Moreover, the proposed method can effectively decrease the channel switching delay of DVB-H services. Simulation results show a high performance for the proposed StatMux method.

Abstract:
The excessive popularity of service-oriented architecture implementations has led to considera-tion of the application of this approach in the production of organizations engaged in processing statis-tical and economic information for analytical research. This is due to the possibility of reusing services, each of which is designed to perform specific statistical functions, and the availability of design solu-tions for compiling these functions into a program for implementing a statistical task solution, using orchestration as a basis for dynamic service calls. The article proposes an approach to developing external statistical services as a set of software products for solving analytical tasks by groups of independent researchers who do not have sufficient financial support and for whom the use of externalstatistical services will provide the opportunity to conduct in-depth analysis of their research results. The proposed approach assumes that such a service should have its typical data storage structure with fixed types and attributes, to which the researcher imports their own data, selects a calculation execution scheme, initializes their execution, and receives results. Taking into account this storage scheme, the authors have identified the main groups of metadata necessary to describe the implementation of the statistical process. A statistical business process typi-cally consists of a set of procedures that implement certain statistical operations and data transfor-mations, and the provided set of metadata allows for the realization of the process goal and activity.Issues that require further in-depth research for the practical implementation of the proposed idea have been identified. The use of service-oriented architecture for building statistical processes allows for standardizing the approach by unifying the functions of individual services. The availability of pos-sibilities for practical implementation of software products in a service-oriented architecture using a cloud environment in modern IT industry serves as a guide for further research direction.

Abstract:
Pricing services of motor carriers is a dynamic process, with continuous pressure from customers to offer competitive rates and discounts. This can lead to a profusion of special arrangements with rates that poorly reflect the services rendered. This article shows how standard database systems and statistical models can be used to extract useful information from bills of lading to assist in the pricing of freight services. Summaries of business performance are produced according to terminal facility, shipping origin, shipping destination, individual shipping lane and individual customer. User-friendly statistical models are constructed to produce benchmarks for rates and revenues considering the services rendered. Differences between actual and benchmark levels of performance help to identify situations that may call for managerial reinforcement or corrective intervention. With illustrations from a major motor carrier, the authors discuss how even small motor carriers can develop such models and use them for planning their rate adjustments and managing customer relationships.

Abstract:
QUALITY IMPROVEMENT is increasingly important for health care organisations both nation-wide and internationally. There is greater recognition of both the variances in patient care and the gaps between evidence-based research and current practice. At the same time, demand, not only for the quantity of services, but for higher quality services, continues to grow. Realising this, most major hospitals across Australia are initiating the redesign of hospital processes in order to maximise the timeliness and quality of patient care. But changing a process does not always result in an improvement.1,2 For this reason, a key component of any quality improvement effort is the robust measurement, analysis, and interpretation of appropriate clinical outcomes and processes, to ensure beneficial changes occur.

The changing economic structures, increased complexity and social requirements of advanced societies have rendered the statistical foundations of the National Income and Product Accounts highly problematic as a guide to policy-making. Discussions of “secular stagnation” and low productivity growth are predicated on these problematic measures, including the measures of price change that are used to distinguish “real” from “nominal” changes. This paper explores the consequences for measurement and for policy of the rise of the decline of manufacturing employment, the rise of services, and the rising need for public goods, public services, and investments aimed at sustainability and at the quality of life.

This paper describes a statistical study within NHS health districts, using routinely available data, of the supply of outpatient services, the demands made on these services and the resulting balance of supply and demand. Indicators of supply have been investigated which aim to reflect the resources available within a district for outpatient services and indicators of demand have been studied which link to the number of general practitioners who are considered likely to make use of the services provided. Some preliminary analysis is attempted of relationships between the observed balance of supply and demand and the predictions based on the statistical models developed.

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to examine the lecture method preferences of Ukrainian consumers of educational services. The study has observed two popular methods of providing educational services: the auditory method and the visual method. Research methodology included: information research; questioning and statistical processing of questionnaires; graphical representation of results and verification of statistical hypotheses. The sampling included two groups of students and one group of school teachers. It was statistically proved that Ukrainian students prefer the visual method of lectures but not the auditory method in availing educational services. Since the results are strongly significant, they have a great practical importance, recommending university teachers to use visual methods of lectures more than auditory while providing educational services. This will help them to adapt their lecture form and technique according to the needs and preferences of students as consumers of educational services. In addition, the results will also be useful to design and formulate training programs for teachers of Ukrainian Universities and making policy design for the Ukrainian Higher Education.

Abstract:
The development of information and communication technologies is fundamentally transforming the tourism sector and tourism suppliers are widely using modern technologies to improve their business. Hotels are increasingly relying on digital technologies in an effort to reach their business objectives, improve the experience and satisfaction of their guests and achieve a competitive advantage. The aim of this research is to determine the statistical significance of the impact of demographic variables on customer satisfaction when using digital services, such as: the hotel website, online reservations, internet services, as well as social media. Empirical research on customers' attitudes and their satisfaction with digital services that 4and 5star-hotels provide on the territory of Serbia was conducted in 2021 and the results were processed using statistical methods and the Chi-square test. The research results have shown that there is a statistically significant difference in customer satisfaction with digital hotel services depending on their gender and age. The research indicates that it is necessary to take in account the demographic categories of customers when developing digital hotel services and make adjustments to them accordingly.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the important problem of assessment of institutional transformation by modeling of panel data. It is demonstrated that multidimensional statistical methods allow for the reasonable selection of the probabilistic statistical model that fits best to output statistical data and description of the real behavior of the studied set of objects than the great many other similar models, and for the assessment of reliability and accuracy of conclusions made on the basis of limited statistical information. The proposed theoretical model reveals the statistical impact of social globalization, openness of trade, property rights, human development and share of services in GDP on economic growth in countries differentiated by economic performance. Of the institutional factors with an impact on economic growth, found by the study, statistically significant are both traditional factors (index of property right, GDP by PPP) and ones implicit in the globalizing economy (Internet users, index of social globalization, share of services in GDP). It allows for the conclusion that economic growth in countries differentiated by economic performance is conditional on institutes. Property rights still remain to be the key factor for effective institutes, and their impact determines the future development trajectory. The significant role belongs to openness of trade, with its positive statistical impact on economic growth. The positive statistical impact of social globalization is also identified. Statistical significance of the growing share of services in GDP is demonstrated, which is an attribute of globalization. Special emphasis in statistical modeling is made on the human factor measured by human development index. This index has supreme significance in the complex process of transition from extractive institutes to inclusive ones, because the effectiveness of transformation process depends on the human.

Abstract:
In the article the author determined the main directions of foreign economic activity of the country and was established that the main course for Ukraine is foreign trade and international investment activity. The author done analysis of the foreign trade balance of Ukraine for 2017 shows the passive balance of trade balance. The analyzed indicators of foreign trade balance show that in 2017 Ukraine economy was opened (0.93), i. e. it is risk-prone, import-dependent (46.8%), the share of exports in the total amount of the gross domestic product was 45.8%, the coefficient of coverage the export over import was 98%. The calculated coefficient of the international intraspecific specialization of the country shows that Ukraine is import-dependent from the following groups of goods and services: works of art (–75,5%), polymer materials, plastics and articles (–75,0%), means of land transport, aircraft, floating means (–68.4%), optical and photographic equipment (-59.9%), state and government services (–99.5%), royalties (–83.3 %), financial services (–74.2%). The author was determined and substantiated the factors influencing the tendencies of export development of Ukraine, which were the basis of correlation-regression analysis. The export links with all selected factors based on the pair correlation coefficients are analyzed. A high correlation was found between exports with imports (0.987), a rather close but inverse relationship with the US dollar (–0.887), a significant and direct correlation between export of FDI to Ukraine (0.693) and a noticeable but inverse relationship exports with GDP (–0.693) and consumer price index (–0.690). During the analysis, the author built two regressive models of export dependence from import transactions and under the influence of the exchange rate. The author substantiated the effect of the fluctuation of the US dollar exchange rate on exports of goods and services, and predicted Ukraine’s exports in the short period.

Abstract:
Remote desktop connection (RDC) services offer clients the ability to access remote content and services, commonly in the context of accessing their working environment. With the advent of cloud-based services, an example use case is that of delivering virtual PCs to users in WAN environments. In this paper, we aim to detect and analyze common user behavior when accessing RDC services, and use this as input for making Quality of Experience (QoE) estimations and subsequently providing input for effective QoE management mechanisms. We first identify different behavioral categories, and conduct traffic analysis to determine a feature set to be used for classification purposes. We propose a machine learning approach to be used for classifying behavior, and use this approach to classify a large number of real-world RDCs. We further conduct QoE evaluation studies to determine the relationship between different network conditions and subjective end user QoE for all identified behavioral categories. Results show an exponential relationship between QoE and delay and loss degradations, and a logarithmic relationship between QoE and bandwidth limitations. Obtained results may be applied in the context of network resource planning, as well as in making QoE-driven resource allocation decisions.

Kutsyk, Petro. "STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF THE RECEIVABLES OF ENTERPRISES OF HOUSING AND COMMUNAL SERVICES: ACCOUNTING SUPPORT." Three Seas Economic Journal 1, no. 3 (December 18, 2020): 53–58. http://dx.doi.org/10.30525/2661-5150/2020-3-9.

Abstract:
The branch characteristics of activity of the enterprises of housing and communal services are defined with features of management of receivables: its absence of alternative concerning partially rendered services to consumers that would directly influence reduction of incomes of the enterprise of housing and communal services; its impossibility of resale of services, lack of clear control over the quality of services provided and its price, which leads to dissatisfaction with the social needs of the population; its lack of flexible discounts for honest payers of housing and communal services. The analysis of the structure of receivables of the population for the consumed housing and communal services of the enterprises of the Lviv region during April-August 2020 is carried out. It is established that the use of inefficient methods of housing management leads to low payment discipline of buyers, which contributes to the deterioration of the financial condition of the industry as a whole. Therefore, methods of accelerating the payment of receivables with appropriate reporting on the quality of services provided should be actively used. The dynamics of the amount of funds for which agreements on debt restructuring for housing and communal services have been concluded, and the amount repaid by consumers-debtors indicates increased activities on concluding contracts and gradual repayment of debts by consumers. In case of overdue receivables for housing and communal services, the consumer should be reminded of the need to pay the debt in different ways. These are in the form of a re-receipt, correspondent (send by registered mail on demand), SMS, or call, or direct visit of the housing and communal services department representative to the service object, and finding out the cause of existing receivables, the order of criteria for their classification into doubtful and bad types of receivables. The purpose of the research is to identify sectorial characteristics of housing and communal services, which determine the features of receivables management and improve the methodology of statistical analysis of receivables to identify causes of late payment of housing and communal services and ways to motivate consumers to repay debts. Methodology. The method of statistical analysis of receivables is developed to be carried out in three stages: analysis of the structure of receivables; analysis of the dynamics of receivables for communal services; analysis of the effectiveness of receivables restructuring. Results. The following stages of statistical analysis of receivables for housing and communal services are offered. Analysis of the structure of receivables to determine the types of housing and communal services for which we observe the largest and smallest share in total is proposed. Analysis of the dynamics of receivables for communal services to determine trends in indicators in the regional aspect is suggested. Analysis of the effectiveness of the restructuring receivables (provides for the calculation of the increase in the number of agreements on debt restructuring and assessment in the dynamics of repayment of these receivables) is proffered. Practical implications. We identified effective management methods of receivables of housing and communal services that improves the financial condition of the industry as a whole. Value/originality. The statistical analysis of the receivables of enterprise of housing and communal services has been further developed.

Abstract:
Customer inspiration has recently gained much interest in marketing theory due to its consistent results as a customer management technique. Herein, the relationship between banking services and customer inspiration through the role of gender moderation is presented. Structural equation modelling through partial least squares modelling (PLS-SEM) has been employed to determine the nature of relationships between variables. Six hundred and forty questionnaires are distributed to branches of ten banks distributed in nine major cities in Iraq, including the capital, Baghdad. Data collection took 62 days; 394 complete answers (i.e., 61.56%) are collected. The approximate viability was evaluated by analyzing the average values of the extracted AVE contrast, where the average AVE was greater than 0.5 for all formulations. The findings show that banking services have a significant positive effect on inspiration and that gender has a positive role in mediating the relationship as a moderation variable.
