Abstract:
The paper describes technical and environmental aspects of hardware implementation of air‐steam bed conveyor system aimed at creating a pollution‐free zone at the stock preparation department of a tire factory. The approach presented will facilitate volatile compound adsorption into the air‐steam space from an adhesive film formed by assembling solution on the tread surface. A model of saturated adsorbent desorption, with electric contact heat applied, is developed. The results of mathematical modeling of assembling solution‐volatile matter adsorption are presented.

The problem of organic and non-economic LDPE plastic waste, which is abundant in the Singkawang City landfill, is accompanied by the reduced availability of coal as a fuel for steam power plants. Therefore, this study utilizes organic and plastic waste as biomass fuel that can be used in steam power plants using the co-firing method. This research aims to identify the characteristics, analyze the optimal composition based on SNI 8966:2021, and examine the influence of solid fuel composition. The research method used four composition variations: 100:0%, 95:5%, 85:15%, and 75:25. The best averag

The object of this paper was to analyze the non-volatile water-soluble fraction or dissolved organic matter (DOM) from production water associated with Cyclic Steam Stimulation (CSS) with preformed foams through high and ultra-high mass spectrometry. Using ESI FT-ICR MS, six naphthenic acids were identified and selected as new potential natural tracking agents. Subsequently, the DOM fractions were analyzed via ESI MSMS, through which semi-quantitative concentrations of these compounds were established for the samples. The results show that the DOM concentration monitored through ESI-MSMS allow

Abstract In this work, the main aim is focused on the decomposition products of film-forming amines which are used as corrosion protection of devices against surface corrosion at frequent short outages. Filming amines are a mixture of volatile alkaline and contact organic amines, which protect both the water and the steam environment. It was confirmed, the organic matter is not stable at high temperature and decomposes to organic acids with short chain (acetic, formic) which decrease pH value and increase conductivity value.

The natural movement in cosmetics of the 21st century has led to renewed interest in formulating skin care products with botanical ingredients. Given how politically unattractive coal is as an energy resource in spite of its high energy content, it becomes necessary to find a way to utilize coal in a cleaner and more efficient manner.
