AbstractThe book Das Interpretationsproblem der Formalisierten Zahlentheorie und ihre Formale Widerspruchsfreiheit by Erik Stenius published in 1952 contains a consistency proof for infinite ω-arithmetic based on a semantical interpretation. Despite the proof’s reference to semantics the truth definition is in fact equivalent to a syntactical derivability or reduction condition. Based on this reduction condition Stenius proves that the complexity of formulas in a derivation can be limited by the complexity of the conclusion. This independent result can also be proved by cut elimination for ω-a

In this study, the convective drying process on the stenter machine used natural gas as fuel was examined in terms of energy saving. The fuel consumption in the drying process of wool fabric with and without heat recovery from exhaust air of stenter was determined. It was shown that the fuel consumption in stenter can be decreased significantly by the use of heat recovery exchangers. According to the results minimum fuel consumption was observed at inlet drying air temperature of 180?C and humidity ratio of the exhaust air of 0,08 kgv/kga. Three new Stenus species of the indubius group from Sichuan Province, West-Central China, are described: S. zhuxiaoyui Tang, sp. nov., S. pectorifossatus Tang. sp. nov. and S. erlangshanus Tang, sp. nov. Diagnostic characters are illustrated and a key to Chinese species of this group is provided. The conflict between classifications of Stenus based on subgenera and species groups is briefly discussed. All three new species have diagnostic characters of the subgenus Hemistenus.

Species of the Stenus cirrus group in Fujian Province, East China, are reviewed and two new species are described: S. mangdangshanus sp. n. and S. fujianensis sp. n. The females of S. cooterianus Puthz, 2003 and S. wuyiensis Puthz, 2003 are discovered and illustrated for the first time. The diagnostic characters of the new species are illustrated, and a key to species of the Stenus cirrus group of Fujian Province is provided.

Chinese species of Stenus viridanus group are studied and two new species are described: S. liuyei Gao & Tang, sp. n. from Yunnan Province and S. panyuhongae Gao & Tang, sp. n., from Hainan Province. Stenus cyanogaster Rougemont, 1983 is reassigned to the viridanus group, and new provincial records for three species are reported. The diagnostic characters of the new species are illustrated and a key to species of the group from China is provided.

Abstract:
In this study, the performance of a stenter (ram machine) that enables the drying of textile products with hot air is theoretically modelled with a diffusion model derived from Fick?s second law. The experimental study was conducted in a 10 chamber stenter with three different drying temperatures (110-130-150?C) and three different fabric speeds (10-20-30 m per minute.) by using a fabric consisting of 95% cotton + 5% lycra. The drying behaviour of the dryer was determined by utilizing the data obtained from the studies. With the help of the utilized model, the values of diffusion coefficients

Abstract:
The Stener-type lesion of the radial collateral ligament is rare. The insertion of the abductor pollicis brevis is believed to preclude its occurrence. The aim of this study was to determine whether this lesion can be induced mechanically. Four specimens were tested in neutral rotation and 20° of supination, in 45° and 30° of flexion, and in the neutral position. The angle of ulnar adduction to form a Stener-type lesion was measured. The lesion occurred only in 45° flexion in all specimens. A lesser angle of flexion decreased the rate of ligament displacement. In the neutral position no ligame
