The differences between Pseudodynerus auratoides (Bertoni, 1918) and Pseudodynerus serratus (Fox, 1902) are established. Lectotypes of Stenodynerus mondaiensis Bertoni, 1918 and Stenodynerus auratoides Bertoni, 1918 are designated. Pseudodynerus penicillatus (Zavattari, 1912) is redescribed and newly raised from synonymy under P. serratus (Fox, 1902).

We provide new data on the distribution and biology of the three Stenodynerus species (Hymenoptera, Vespidae, Eumeninae) from Panama: Stenodynerus iolans (Cameron, 1905) is recorded for the first time from Panama; several localities are added to the known distribution in Panama of S. farias (Saussure, 1857); and S. otomitus (Saussure, 1857), currently known as a ground-nester, was found emerging from exposed cells together with Ipsiura pilifrons (Cameron, 1888) (Hymenoptera, Chrysididae).

<em>Stenodynerus clypeopictus</em> (Kostylev, 1940) (Hymenoptera: Vespidae, Eumeninae) &ndash; the new species of potter wasp for the Polish fauna. The paper presents the first information about the occurrence of <em>Stenodynerus clypeopictus</em> (Kostylev, 1940) in the Polish fauna. Four females and one male were collected in the vicinity of Zwierzyniec and Piotrkowice in Małopolska Upland. Brief characteristics of the species and its distribution are given. The key features enabling the identification of the species are provided.

The fauna of the genus Stenodynerus de Saussure, 1863 of China is supplemented with one new species and six new records, for a total of 30 recorded species. The new species, S. tongrenensis Zeng, Chen &amp; Li, sp. nov., is described and illustrated in detail from Guizhou (China). The six following species are newly recorded from China: S. coreanus (Tsuneki, 1970), S. difficilis (Morawitz, 1867), S. kaszabi Giordani Soika, 1976, S. punctifrons (Thomson, 1874), S. steckianus (von Schulthess, 1897), and S. trotzinai (Morawitz, 1895).
