Abstract:
The article discusses the results of the use of root formation stimulants in the green propagation of four varieties of juniper: juniperus scopilorum 'Moonglow', juniperus squamata 'Blue Star', juniperus communis 'Hibernica', juniperus virginiana in a tree-decorative nursery. Rooting was carried out in summer cultivation facilities under conditions of artificial fog. Four serial production stimulants were tested: Kornevin, Heteroauxin, Root, Zircon. Statistical processing of data showed that the use of all considered stimulants allowed us to obtain results other than control. This suggests tha

In recent years, the demand for effective and low-toxic stimulators of rhizogenesis, which are used in microclonal propagation of plants, has been increasing in Ukraine. One of the promising directions in the search for effective compounds is molecular modeling based on known natural and synthetic compounds. The development of new highly effective and low-toxic biologically active compounds is largely based on derivatives of nitrogen-containing heterocycles, and quinoline occupies a significant place among them. Modern methods of chemometric analysis make it possible to find certain regulariti

The questions of seed and vegetative breeding of introduced wild roses with application of dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO), stimulants and fungicides under conditions of the Kola Subarctic are considered. The rose seeds pretreatment with the mixture of DMSO with hybberellin and kinetin increased germination up to 65 % even in 6–8 weeks. Application of DMSO with growth regulators and fungicides during green graft planting resulted in the increase of rhizogenesis up to 93 % and decreased winter fall out of grafts from 90 % to 5–14 %. Brassinosteroids are a developing group of growth regulators. They are a group of steroid hormones involved in plants’ physiological and developmental processes. Among other things, they are responsible for cell wall regeneration or cell elongation. This experiment aimed to examine the effect of rooting stimulants on rhizogenesis in cuttings of two deciduous shrub species: Philadelphus ’Virginal’ and Hydrangea paniculata ’Limelight’. Aqueous solutions of indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) at 200 mg·L–1, Brassinolide (BL) at 0.05% and 24-epibrassinolide (24epiBL) (0.05%) were used in this study. The r

Steppe cherry is the most common stone fruit crop in the gardens of the Krasnoyarsk Region. The demand for cultivar seedlings increases annually. The main method of industrial reproduction of planting material is green cuttings. Synthetic stimulants of root formation of auxin nature are used in the propagation technology. To improve the rooting of cuttings, it is proposed to use indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) with the addition of biogenic ferrihydrite nanoparticles (Feh). The purpose of the research is to study the effect of biogenic ferrihydrite nanoparticles on rhizo- and organogenesis of green
