Abstract:
This paper studies the impact of short sale constraints on stock price efficiency upon arrival of analyst downgrades. Examining the speed of which stock price response to analyst downgrades for pilot (short sale non-constrained) stocks and control (short sale constrained) stocks in an intra-day setting, I find evidence supporting the hypothesis that short sale constrains hamper intra-day stock price efficiency. For after-hours downgrades, pilot stocks respond quickly, with virtually all of the price response incorporated by the following open, while control stocks take an extra five minutes af

The electronics industry plays an increasingly important role in GDP, and it is of great significance to study the valuation of the stock price of the electronics industry. In the process of reading the literature, the author found the possible deficiencies in the related fields: (1) The existing studies lack timeliness and are of little reference significance. (2)There is less research on stock price valuations in the electronics industry. After summing up the previous theoretical results, in the electronics industry sub-plate: semiconductor, consumer electronics, PCB, optical optoelectronics

Abstract:
Abstract ICES assessments of cod (Gadus morhua) in the west of Scotland (ICES Division 6a) suggest the biomass has collapsed and that fishing mortality rate (F) has remained high. In contrast, other stocks in the same fishery, and adjacent cod stocks all show marked declines in fishing mortality and some recovery of the biomass. The perception of the status of 6a cod appears to be dependent on the assumption that the fishery exploitation pattern is flat topped. An assessment that allows the exploitation to take a domed shape produces results that suggest a marked decline in fishing mortality r

Abstract:
The stock market investors aim at maximizing their investment returns. Stock recommendation task is to recommend stocks with higher return ratios for the investors. Most stock prediction methods study the historical sequence patterns to predict stock trend or price in the near future. In fact, the future price of a stock is correlated not only with its historical price, but also with other stocks. In this article, we take into account the relationships between stocks (corporations) by stock relation graph. Furthermore, we propose a Time-aware Relational Attention Network (TRAN) for graph-based

The empirical results derived from our fixed effects model provide no support for a linkage between a CEO's stock option grant and future firm risk. We find, using the panel corrected error term methods (PCSE) that control for the heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation, that current period stock option awards do have a positive effect on future firm risk. From the PCSE model we also find that the current year's market risk premium has a statistically significant negative effect on firm risk.
