The Worker´s Party of Social Justice is the most significant far right party in the Czech Republic. This work deals with its ideological basis while emphasis is placed on the conception of nation and the attitude towards the political systém and a charakterization of its development too. The first two chapters focus on the analysis of the predecessor: the Worker's Party which in its third phase adopted the German national socialism from the National Democratic Party of Germany. Within the new approach it adopted the notion of white Europeanism which is a contemporaty Aryan rase. The second two chapters contain the analyses of ideological postulates of the Worker's Party of Social Justice which continues to co-operate with the National Democratic Party of Gemany and to adopt its attitudes and strategy. The basis of identity of the Worker's Party of Social Justice is white Europeanism which is common for all native European nations. Incompatibility of some of its attitudes with the values of representative democracy makes it an anti-system party.

This thesis deals with the influence of local administration on development of the municipality Tmaň, and with political aspects of the municipal management. The first part of this thesis defines the theoretical definition issues such as administration, municipality, municipal financing and local administration. The second part of this thesis is focused on particular aims of this thesis achieved, mainly aims like mapping of the local administration after 1989, the definition socio-economic indicators of the municipality Tmaň and the composition of the local government. The next part of the thesis includes the analysis of the decision process of the local government, which was monitored in 2015 by the method of observation. The thesis includes interest groups, local business entities and their cooperation and relationship with local administration. The substantial part of the thesis includes the clarification of the results of the municipal elections in the municipality Tmaň from 1990 to the last election in 2014 and simultaneously finding out their features with subsequent comparison with theoretical knowledge. Conclusion of the thesis is the generalization based on the participant observation and the continuous questioning, what influence does the local administration on the development of the municipality Tmaň and what the political aspects of the management of the municipality Tmaň are.

Author has chosen "Political Aspects of the Management and Development of Selected Municipalities (Case Study of Vinařice u Loun)" topic.The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains and describes concepts related to communal politics matter. For example, government municipalities, municipal authorities, community development, municipal management, municipal budget, municipal elections, electoral law etc.
The practical part describes characteristic of Vinařice u Loun village from demographic and socio-economic perspective - according to the current municipal budget draft, compared to the budget structure with another, equally large municipalities. Furthermore, there has been described a detailed description of local interest and local government, and the last municipal election to municipal council (2014). The main objective is to define the nature of the decision-making process of local government and compare the management of the village from 2000 to the present (2016).
The Masters thesis characterises a case study (as already mentioned in the title of work). For data collection, analysis of documents, interviews and comparison of data were used.

This thesis is focused on the performance of judicial power in Czechoslovakia in the period of 1948 -- 1953, that is characterized by almost unlimited influence of the ruling party, the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, on the entire society. It was associated with a destruction of division of power in the state and with intentional limitations of the independence of judiciary. The aim of the work is to identify and analyse particular components of a specific mechanism that was introduced to enable to influence the judiciary decisions according to power and political interests of the Communist party of Czechoslovakia through administrative bodies, especially Ministry of Justice. For this purpose fundamental changes of the legislation, personnel and also organizational changes in the judiciary were carried out.

The primary focus of this Master's thesis is the role of Internet and above all various social networks in activating Czech extremist far right movements. The thesis analyses the way modern means of communication streamline the spreading of socially marginal ways of thinking and the way these technologies help bypassing the media blockage often imposed on the activities of these movements, as well as the repressive police force, the power of which is circumscribed within the partially anonymous realm of Internet. A part of this work is also dedicated to an ideology based categorisation of the various branches of right wing extremists. This division is then supported by specific quotes published by these groups on the Internet. The groups that are given the most prominence include the Workers' Party of Social Justice, the Workers' youth, the National Resistance and the Autonomous nationalists.

Among these subjects are the Worker's Party (of Social Justice), National Defiance and Autonomous nationalists. In the first chapter, the Thesis clarifies the specific background of the czech national socialism focusing on facts, figures and the latest development. Second and crucial chapter characterizes political thought of the czech national socialism. The last part of the Thesis focuses on the topics the before mentioned subjects use to address wide public, on their image, their rhetoric and the means of propaganda they turn to.

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the attitude of Justice and Development party (AKP) towards the European Union (EU). Moravcsik's Theory of Liberal Intergovernmentalism (LI) is used in the thesis for the evaluation. The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first chapter introduces two main theoretical attitudes which deal with process of EU enlargement. These two main approaches are Rational and Constructivist theoretical schools. The basic arguments of these two attitudes are used in several different particular theories. The first theoretical chapter is concluded by empirical limitations of constructivist approach in a case of the Eastern Enlargement. The second chapter is devoted to methodology. It justifies selection of the LI theory as well as selects main dependent and independent variables. Two other chapters pursue empirical part of the thesis while they reflect the logic of the LI theory. The empirical chapter focuses on Turkish domestic politics, especially on the AKP's position within this sphere. Rational behavior of AKP representatives is evaluated in the very first part of this chapter. Two other subchapters are devoted to the interconnection among the AKP and Turkish business interest groups and Turkish public opinion as well as their stance towards the EU....

The diploma paper addresses the issue of civil-military relations in the Turkish Republic, whose nature is one of the obstacles to the democratic consolidation. The aim of the study is to analyze the period from 2002 to the present, in which the Justice and Development Party has launched a new era in the civil-military relations and began working to end the dominant role of the army within the Turkish state and the regime, and its subordination to the civilian and democratic control. The work examines adopted reforms and the current role of the army. It assesses if the Republic of Turkey is closer to the democratic model of the civil-military relations.

Neo-Ottomanism in Turkish Foreign Policy and Changes during the Erdoğan era Author: Vladimír Hurych Abstract In November 2002, the new emerging Justice and Development Party (AKP) experienced a landmark electoral victory that significantly rewrote the prevailing domestic and foreign policy identity. The Islam-based AKP and its leaders Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Abdullah Gül and Ahmet Davutoğlu initiated a massive transformation of the Turkish society imposing economic market-oriented reforms and emphasizing the role of democratic institutions and the potential EU membership. AKP establishment also adopted a new foreign policy identity - the neo-Ottomanism. The concept has a background in 1990's strategy of former President Turgut Özal who emphasized the historical, cultural and religious heritage of the Ottoman Empire. Based on domestic changing identity, AKP's neo-Ottomanism served as an ideological tool how to transform its foreign policy identity with using the Islamic narrative and soft power tools. The thesis analyses how the new establishment of 2000's redefined the role of Turkey regarding its geopolitical position in the Middle East. This thesis deals with the development and position of the far-right Workers Party (DS) and the Workers Party of Social Justice (DSSS) in the political system of the Czech Republic. The work also includes a theoretical part, dealing with different views on extremism and radicalism. Also discussed is the position of the far-right parties in Central and Western Europe. The main goal is to capture the roots of the Workers 'Party, but also action and ideological bases its successor the Workers Party of Social Justice. Emphasis is placed on the presentation of the party and demonstrations. They are namely the main way to reach supporters. The thesis also analyzes the election results of DS (DSSS) and try to include the party in the Czech party system according to the theory of Giovanni Sartori. There is also a description of the organizational structure of the party and its affiliated organizations. The last chapter discusses the symbolism and iconography of the party.
