Abstract:
The thesis explores a series of interrogatory themes in relation to the repositioning of the student in four key policy areas, drawing on multiple methods of data collection and utilising practice theory to understand interpretations of and responses to policy at different levels of the 'implementation staircase' (Saunders 1986). By reconceptualising the implementation staircase model so that it synthesises the notion of praxis with the process of policy development, implementation and adaptation, I demonstrate how different groups of practitioners actively shape the process through their own distinctive agendas, meanings and values. The research illustrates that policy makers and university managers think of students as individuals who make a significant investment, in terms of both time and money, in their employability and future careers. The needs and expectations of students are therefore central considerations in both policy and strategy praxis. Quality assurance policy and strategy provide a regulatory framework which aims to boost market confidence in the quality of teaching in higher education, while quality enhancement is intertwined with wider debates about employability and student satisfaction. The publication of detailed information on student satisfaction serves as a form of normative power that provides insight into the outcomes of improvements in academic practice. Most notably, top-up fees have given added salience to the notion of the competitive market for fee paying students. Academics also think of students as individuals who make a significant investment in their employability and future careers. However, while the aims of student-focused policy and strategy are not in themselves perceived as a threat by academics, there are concerns among this group of practitioners about the loss of academic autonomy. The findings suggest that consumerist frameworks in higher education may deter innovation in teaching and assessment if fee paying students respond negatively to changes in academic practice. The publication of teaching quality information and student satisfaction data represents a threat to the reputations of individual academics and academic units, and student satisfaction policy presents a further challenge to the dominant role of academics in the relationship between expert and learner. Additionally, there is evidence that student recruitment policy has contributed to the intensification of working practices among academics, particularly when resources do not keep pace with increasing student numbers.

Abstract:
This thesis is focused on the media behaviour and strategy on behalf of the chosen cases in the Czech Republic. The way for the main analyses is to identify the moral panic indicators, which are compared to the real media bahaviour. The key cases are "bacteria Listeria" and "Heparin's murder Zelenka". The communication strategy was analyzed from the released articles and pictures of two Czech daily journals MF DNES and HN. The quantitative part of thesis is concentrated on the data overview and journals'trends in time. The main aim is to confirm or deny the hypothesis of partial proportion both cases within journals. The qualitative part shows using emotionally strong words and communication strategy.

The dissertation is focused in detail on the topic of Talent Management - talent management in the corporate practice. The aim of the dissertation is to verify that the general trends of the current talent management are applied in the business (corporate) practice. The core of the initial part is the analysis of available resources to the topic of current talent management (vocational studies, outcomes of professional conferences, newspaper articles, publications and statements of respondents). The authentication part is based on a research study in the region of the former district Klatovy. The conclusion is divided into several sub-outcomes - recommendations for the respondents, including proposed timetable for implementation, a summary of the best practices in talent management, a description of talent management specification observed according to the focus and the company size, and also the indication of the possible pitfalls of talent management.

A ferrugem asiática da soja, causada pelo fungo Phakopsora pachyrhizi, desde que foi relatada pela primeira vez no Brasil, tem sido alvo de estudos quanto ao emprego de fungicidas para seu controle. Entretanto, devido ao uso indiscriminado destes produtos, em especial provenientes do grupo DMI (“Demethylation inhibitor”) e QoI (“Quinone outside inhibitor”), também conhecidos respectivamente como triazóis e estrubirulinas, relatos de resistência estão cada vez mais comuns atualmente. Com intuito de estudar novas estratégias para o controle químico da ferrugem, experimentos foram conduzidos a nível de laboratório, casa-de-vegetação e campo para avaliar o efeito da associação de fungicidas pertencentes ao grupos dos DMIs e QoIs com fungicidas de múlti-sítios. Os experimentos realizados a nível de laboratório e casa-de-vegetação estudaram o efeito sistêmico e translaminar de diferentes fungicidas comerciais à base de triazóis (Epoxiconazol, Ciproconazol, Protioconazol, Flutriafol e Tebuconazol) e estrubirulinas (Piraclostrobina e Trifloxistrobina), sendo que para o experimento em casa-vegetação foi adicionado diferentes fungicidas multi-sítios (Mancozebe e Chlorothalonil), Com base nos resultados obtidos em laboratório e em casa-de-vegetação, foram realizados experimentos a nível de campo para avaliar o efeito de fungicidas à base dos triazóis; Epoxiconazol e Ciproconazol, e das estrubirulinas Piraclostrobina e Azoxistrobina, em associação com Mancozebe, Metiram e Chlorothalonil. A ferrugem asiática foi avaliada por médio da severidade com auxílio de escala diagramática e os dados obtidos foram integrados para calcular a área abaixo da curva de progresso da doença (AACPD). Além da avaliação de doença, foi determinado rendimento de grãos (kg/ha) de cada parcela. O bioensaio realizado no laboratório e estufa mostraram que os tratamentos fungicidas utilizados obtiveram uma eficiência mínima de controle da ferrugem asiática da soja de 92 %, comparado com a testemunha. Ensaios de campo, demonstraram que todas as combinações fungicidas empregadas foram eficazes para controlar a ferrugem asiática e consequentemente favorecer um maior ganho de produtividade em comparação com a testemunha. Ao analisar a eficácia de controle da ferrugem asiática nos terços inferior, médio e superior, mostrou que a aplicação de Expoxiconazole com piraclostrobina e Ciproconazol com azoxistrobina reduz ASR (inferior, médio e superior) a queda de folha (%), e aumento no rendimento (kg/ha). Observou-se que a incidência do ASR diferiu entre as partes de dossel. A gravidade aumentou de inferior para a parte superior Ficou evidenciado nesse trabalho, que a aplicação das misturas entre DMI, QoI e multi- sítios promoveu de forma eficaz a redução da doença, propiciou ganho de produtividade e evitou a desfolha das plantas. O emprego de misturas que combinam fungicidas com alto risco de resistência (DMI e QoI) com fungicidas de baixo risco (multi-sítios) podem ser uma nova estratégia para o manejo da ferrugem a curto e a longo prazo. Além disso, em função do efeito residual e protetor de fungicidas multi-sítios promover maior longevidade de moléculas e redução do número de aplicação de fungicidas sistêmicos do grupo dos DMI e QoI.
Asian soybean rust (ASR), caused by the fungus Phakopsora pachyrhizi, since it was first reported in Brazil, has been the subject of studies regarding the use of fungicides to its control. However, due to the indiscriminate use of this products, especially from the DMIs ("demethylation inhibitors") and QoIs ("Quinone outside inhibitor") groups, also known respectively as triazoles and strobilurins, resistance reports are increasingly common nowadays. In order to study new strategies for chemical control of ASR, experiments were conducted in laboratory, greenhouse and field to evaluate the effect of fungicides belonging to the DMIs and QoIs groups associated with multi-site fungicides. Experiments were carried out at laboratory and greenhouse in order to study the systemic and translaminar effect of triazoles (Epoxiconazole, Cyproconazole, Prothioconazole, Flutriafol and Tebuconazole) and Strobilurins (Pyraclostrobin and Trifloxystrobin), and for the experiment in greenhouse were mixed these lasts with multi-site fungicides like (Mancozeb and Chlorothalonil). Based on the results obtained in the laboratory and greenhouse, field trial experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of fungicides compounded with triazole like Epoxiconazole and Cyproconazole, and strobilurins like Pyraclostrobin and Azoxystrobin with Mancozeb, Metiram and Chlorothalonil. ASR was assessed by the severity using a diagrammatic scale and the data were integrated to calculate the area under the disease progress curve (AUDPC). Besides the evaluation of disease, it was determined grain yield (kg/ha) for each plot. The bioassay conducted in the laboratory and greenhouse showed that the fungicide treatments obtained a minimum efficacy of 92 % against ASR, compared to the control. The field trials showed that all combinations of fungicides used were effective to control ASR and promoted greater yield gain compared to the control. Analyzing the effectiveness to control ASR in the lower, medium and upper part of the canopy, showed that application of Expoxiconazole with Pyraclostrobin, and Cyproconazole with Azoxystrobin reduced ASR (lower, medium and upper) and leaf fall (%), and increased yield gain (kg/ha). It was observed that the incidence of the ASR differed between the canopy parts. The severity increased from lower to the upper part. It was evidenced in this work, that the application of DMI, QoI and multi-site fungicides in association promoted effectively the disease reduction, increased yield and avoided the leaf fall. The use of commercial formulation fungicides with high risk of resistance (DMI and QoI) combined to low risk ones (multi-site) could be a new strategy for the management of the ASR at short and long term. Furthermore, due to the residual effect and protective of multi-site fungicides like Mancozeb, Chlorothalonil and Metiram, can promote higher longevity of DMI and QoI molecules and reduce the number of application of systemic fungicides.

In the past, pastoral-therapeutic support was mainly approached only from the functioning of the left hemisphere of the brain. This implies that pastoral therapists mainly interacted with people in therapy at an intellectual-analytical level under modernistic influence. Since man's destitution and need changes along with time, it is essential for pastoral therapists/counsellors to supplement and adapt their modus operandi and strategies if they wish to remain relevant regarding their pastoral dealings with people. In this study the researcher attempted to formulate from the Scriptures a basis theory regarding the role of music as a whole-brain strategy in inner change. For the sake of a more holistic approach, a meta-theoretical investigation was also undertaken. To confirm the basis and meta-theoretical information, researcher entered the living reality of seven individuals during which a qualitative research was done. The results of the study, according to which the basis and meta-theoretical perspectives were placed in hermeneutical relation to one another, led to practice-theoretical guidelines within the subject domain of Practical Theology regarding the role of music as a whole-brain strategy in inner change.

Abstract:

Uppsatsen är en beskrivande och reflekterande studie över ett kombinerat demonstrations- och intervjuprogram. Programmet programmerades och användes i syfte att förbereda utvecklingen av ett datorprogram som ska lära ut och träna argumentation.

Studien beskriver hur intervjuprogrammet konstruerades med avseende på teorier från retorik och pedagogik, samt resultat därur. Avslutningsvis diskuteras processen och potentialen i att skapa ett program som skulle kunna ligga till grund för ett personligt kunskapande, ett argumentationsprogram.

Sammanfattning;

Tekniker för argumentation tränas inte naturligt i skolorna, inte heller i vardagen. Successivt lärs argumentation på olika vis, självständigt eller genom andra. Man lär sig eller blir lärd. Intervjuprogrammet gav tydliga signaler om hur ett argumentationsprogram bör utformas för att tala till användaren på ett så tydligt och personligt vis som möjligt.

Slutdiskussionen redogör för vad ett sådant argumentationsprogram skulle kunna innebära för användaren. Ett eventuellt argumentationsprogram kommer att lära ut en stabil, lite förenklad grund, som ger användaren fem tydliga topiker och träning i att använda dem. Verktyg som senare och i andra situationer kan tillämpas vid argumentation.

A pesquisa aborda a temática de Marketing com enfoque para as plataformas de internet emergidas graças ao desenvolvimento das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC), tendo como caso de estudo a Praia de Bilene- (e-marketing como estratégia de comunicação dos empreendimentos turísticos da Praia do Bilene). Metodologicamente, a pesquisa recorreu a revisão da literatura, pesquisa online e aplicação de inquérito por questionário a 312 turistas dos 5 estabelecimentos que constituem a amostra do trabalho (complexos turísticos- Aquárius, Humula, Palmeira, Ferroviário e Massala beach). O tratamento dos dados foi com base no pacote estatístico SPSS 17.0 concretamente pela ferramenta analyse- descriptive statistcs- frequencies e crosstabs. Os dados obtidos revelam que 54.5% dos turistas que frequentam a Praia do Bilene conheceram os estabelecimento por meio da Internet, sendo as redes sociais, os websites dos estabelecimentos, as comunidades web principais ferramentas usadas para tal, sendo que o email (23.4%) é a ferramenta de e-marketing usada para a reserva dos estabelecimentos. As redes sociais (70%) e as comunidades web (38.8%) são as ferramentas que se destacam no uso por parte dos clientes para fazerem comentário ou partilhar algo, atividade que é feita por cerca de 70% dos turistas inqueridos. A interação entre os estabelecimentos e os clientes é a atividade pouco explorada, com menos de metade de turistas a não interagir com os empreendimentos.
The research addresses the topic of marketing with focus on the internet platforms in vogue, motivated by information technology development, and communication (TIC), having a case study of Bilene Beach- (e-marketing as communication strategy of tourists institutions at Bilene Beach). Methodologically, the research resorted to literature review, online research and application of research questionnaire for 312 tourists from 5 hotels which constitute the work sample (tourism lodges-Aquarius, Humula, Palmeira, Ferroviário and Massala beach). The data treatment was based on the SPSS statistical software 17 through the analyze- descriptive statistics- frequencies and crosstabs tool. The data reveals that 54.5% of tourists who visit Bilene Beach knew the lodges via Internet, through social networks, institutions websites, having the web communities as the main tools used for the purpose, and the e-mail with 23.4%, being the e-marketing tool used for the bookings. The social networks contributed with 70%, and the web community (38.8%), and are tools which distinguished themselves, mostly used by clients to make comments or share information, an activity done by most interviewed people. The interaction among tourism institutions and customers is an activity that is less explored, and less than half of tourists do not interact with them.

This integrated study examined the nexus between the theory and the practice of strategy. Given the nature of modern-day public and private business enterprises in South Africa and the rest of the world, management education should equip practitioners with knowledge and skills suitable for complex, dynamic, eclectic, and uncertain practice contexts. That is, management education should be playing a critical role in shaping and guiding the business community in the ‘management’ and ‘administration’ of business in the country. However, criticisms in management literature suggest that management education is not relevant to practice. Despite such criticisms, there is relatively little empirical evidence in the country on practitioners’ experiences with the relevance to practice of their management education in general and strategy education in particular. To this end, this study set out to develop a better understanding of the dynamic and nuanced interplay between strategy theory and strategy practice through a survey and interviews with selected business school alumni in professional practice. Statistical analyses were performed on quantitative data, while thematic analysis was performed on qualitative data. The survey findings of the study reveal a positive and significant relationship between academic rigour and practical relevance of strategy theory, while phenomenological findings reveal that practical relevance of strategy theory is largely constructed by practitioners according to their contextual demands. Strategic management appears to rest on the dynamic interplay between strategy theory and strategy practice within a complex and eclectic management environment.
In hierdie geïntegreerde studie is die verband tussen strategieteorie en -praktyk ondersoek. Bestuursopleiding moet praktisyns toerus met die kennis en vaardighede wat die komplekse, dinamiese, eklektiese en wisselvallige omgewing in openbare en private maatskappye in Suid-Afrika en elders in die wêreld vereis. Met ander woorde, bestuursopleiding moet leiding gee in die bestuur en administrasie van maatskappye in die land. In die literatuur word aangevoer dat bestuursopleiding irrelevant is. Daar is egter min empiriese bewys dat bestuursopleiding, en strategieopleiding in die besonder, ontoepaslik is. Om hierdie rede is ‘n studie van die dinamiese en genuanseerde wisselwerking tussen strategieteorie en -praktyk onderneem. Onderhoude is gevoer met en ‘n opname is gedoen onder sakeskoolalumni wat in die praktyk staan. ‘n Statistiese ontleding is van die kwantitatiewe data en ‘n tematiese ontleding is van die kwalitatiewe data gedoen. Volgens die opnamebevindings is daar ‘n positiewe en beduidende verband tussen akademiese stiptheid en die praktiese relevansie van strategieteorie. Uit die fenomenologiese bevindings blyk dat die praktiese relevansie van strategieteorie grotendeels deur praktisyns volgens die eise van hulle konteks bepaal word. Blykbaar berus strategiese bestuur op die dinamiese wisselwerking tussen strategieteorie en strategiepraktyk in ‘n komplekse en eklektiese bestuursomgewing.

Os desenvolvimentos teórico-empíricos na temática do word of mouth encontram-se fragmentados (Wells 1993; Yadav 2010) e, no entanto, a sua relevância é amplamente reconhecida, sendo mesmo considerada a estratégia de marketing mais eficaz, mas menos compreendida (Misner, 1999). Com o objetivo de compreender até que ponto esta fragmentação e importância se estende ao campo conceptual e prático dos profissionais, propusemo-nos a desenvolver um estudo exploratório, de natureza qualitativa. Realizámos entrevistas, semi-estruturadas, a 20 profissionais de marketing (13 diretores e 7 gestores) de organizações de diferentes setores e dimensões. As entrevistas incidiram sobre as conceções e práticas de gestão de word of mouth tendo como ponto de comparação as teorias e conceções dos teóricos. Constatámos que as conceções relativas ao word of mouth são, de modo geral, convergentes entre teóricos e profissionais, ambos reconhecendo a sua importância atual e futura ao nível da gestão de marketing. A assimetria encontrada entre a teoria e a prática está ao nível da gestão do word of mouth por parte dos profissionais. Os profissionais recorrem sobretudo a uma gestão do word of mouth assente em ações de relações públicas, em aspetos relacionados com a experiência de marca e numa ou outra característica específica das mensagens. Esta abordagem é limitada e fica aquém do que se encontra descrito na teoria, sobretudo em relação às abordagens com maior potencial de eficácia (cf. Berger, 2014; Berger e Schwartz, 2011; Berger e Heath, 2005; Heath e Heath, 2007).
Theoretical and empirical developments in the field of word of mouth are fragmented (Wells 1993; Yadav 2010), nonetheless its relevance is widely recognized to the extent of being considered the world’s most effective, yet least understood marketing strategy (Misner 1999). With the purpose of understanding to what degree its fragmentation and relevance is extensive to the conceptual field of the professionals, we proposed to undertake an exploratory study, of qualitative nature. We have conducted semi-structured interviews, to 20 marketing professionals (13 directors and 7 managers) from organizations of different sectors and sizes. The interviews focused on the word of mouth conceptions and management practices by comparison to the conceptions and theories of the theorists. We have verified that the conceptions of theorists and professionals are in general convergent, both recognizing the present and future importance of word of mouth for marketing management. The asymmetry we found between theory and practice has to do with the professionals’ word of mouth management. The professionals mainly resort to public relations initiatives, brand experience features and one or two message characteristics. This approach is limited and falls short of what is described in the theory, in particular the approaches with a greater effectiveness potential (cf. Berger, 2014; Berger e Schwartz, 2011; Berger e Heath, 2005; Heath e Heath, 2007).

Since 2009, Internet had entered the web 3.0 generation, which is the era that e-commerce is surrounded by personal experience as the core concept of the Internet. With the rapid development of cloud technology, the Internet has become a virtual ecosystem which is necessary, and even what makes people live. In 2013, German proposed the concept of Industry 4.0, using networking and Internet of things services to improve production processes, making the rate of manufacturing computerization, developed digitalization and intelligence higher, and resource efficiency saving and comprehensively develop automation machinery of wisdom factory. However, fashion design and manufacturing in the last pipeline process could not be replaced by machines, and production lines still rely on a lot of manpower turners. Taiwan garment industry developed from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) to the current stage of OBM (Own Branding & Manufacturing), which is the transition period. Brand / corporate cannot avoid moving another stage in the electronic business. The reason is that facing emerging global e-commerce market, manufacturers’ discount policy of low-cost advantage cannot highlight the differentiation of brand, and neither is the business’ eternal way of management. Fashion brand in the business of e-commerce entered the advanced level. Exploring cutting-edge designer brand new e-commerce business model, companies have to consider the ecosystem to its entire of the garment industry, which begins with the relationship between the consumers and the retail models. In Asian retail markets, which originated from industrial manufacturers, has always been in great demand for the variety of design, quantity and price, but long-term stagnation of economic growth, facing a wave of rapid rise of low-cost fashion brands, how designers’ brands can win the fast fashion brands and maintain long-term advantage, they have become the biggest difficulties of brand management. The research paper induce and collate the brand business strategies and e-business application solution of PRAXES through questionnaires about shaping PRAXES’, consumer group portrait and survey of how various ethnic groups see PRAXES, Learning from the success of high-end American clothing brand J.Crew, which catalogs transited from mail-order catalogs to e-commerce online shopping, yielding PRAXES brand in e-commerce business for generations 3.0; it centered on concept of the users’ experience and synergistic the core competitiveness of the brand, the fashion brand of e-commerce business became mainstream. It makes use of multiple angles from the structure of the brand’s official website and digitized social media platform. Designers’ brands from small production of high-cost production model thinking, the use of the digital data link of the supply chain, the use of integrated application operation O2O actual situation, to provide personalized, small quantities, varieties of style, short delivery of rapid reaction Digital production supply chain clothing producing patterns. In order to meet with modern ecological business virtual networks, save resources, reduce inventory and improve efficiency, it based on the practical application of the policy as a fashion brand in e-commerce operations. Exploring from J.Crew’s mail-order catalog and e-commerce success stories, market differentiation via a complete lifestyle shaping target groups formed distinct style of brand culture can be understood. It is analyzed the result through questionnaires, interviews and in-depth cross three coding. A group, who loves luxury brand goods, responses that PRAXES have to upgrade on its use of materials and textures. B group, which like to buy contemporary brands, they usually have the purchasing habits of highlighting personal traits and unique style, and meets with PRAXES contemporary orientation, but the style and the items have to trim for youth, internationalization and harmony。And significantly enhance the operating frequency of social media and further reflection on the media exposure for the operation. It should be made in an academic context that PRAXES and other designers’ brands on market segmentation are clear, showing PRAXES characteristic. Therefore, the brand's official website, social media network, and O2O actual situation of e-commerce for the integration of diverse, is to position B group’s lifestyle. The core concept of e-commerce strategy, diversified business-oriented e-commerce, deep brand culture presented in each media exposure on can complete presents unique brand of style. Inducing groups C and D, who cares about the value for the economic factors, reflects PRAXES in the commodity structure and production process of cost control. With Toyota's standardized production processes and ZARA fast fashion supply chain model and reference to the principle of industrial intelligent production 4.0, it introduces the designer's job into systematic production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste of resources, and reform mass production mode in order to reduce the cost of production, seek to correspond with the fast fashion brand competitiveness. Finally, the strategies PRAXES new brand management operations on e-commerce can be collated and analyzed. In this study, e-commerce of the fashion brand business strategies aggregated conclusions is into two general directions and as follows points: 1. Fashion brand operation strategy at the official website and social media. 2. E-Commerce practicable in the application of supply chain - “ Rapid response supply chain”. This thesis is an endeavour to participate in the call for the African Renaissance from a missiological perspective. The study observes how the debate about this African ‗dream‘ persists in the domain of intellectuals and political leaders. It recognises as timely the opportunity to contribute theologically to the development of the renaissance concept. It also observes that ordinary people have jumped onto the African Renaissance bandwagon albeit for reasons that are mainly sentimental. Hence a two-fold appeal to protagonists of the African Renaissance movement: firstly, to be inclusive of all stakeholders especially ordinary people who should be both participants and co-beneficiaries; secondly, to consider spirituality as an indispensable factor in birthing this African ‗dream‘. To help arrive at a well-considered argument the study discusses a brief history of Africa‘s economic, social and political development. Central to this history is how the human factor, actively or inadvertently, and the natural factors have devastated the continent thus necessitating a rebirth. The study notes how especially the political economy and issues of good governance of African states are key concerns to the protagonists of the renaissance movement. It also notes the establishment of structures and policies in addressing these concerns. These interventions are hoped to improve the continent‘s image towards its global counterparts and to lift the hopes of distraught African peoples. The prospect of their success in terms of probabilities and/or perceptions is discussed and Missiologically critiqued. An overview of these endeavours has led to the observation of a lingering chasm of the absence or the apparent sidelining of African spirituality as a necessary component of the African Renaissance discourse. As a major thrust of this thesis the spiritual notion of ‗rebirth‘ is advanced. The basis for this argument lies in the ‗rebirth‘ concept that is inherent in many religions, faith formations and philosophies akin to African spirituality. It is on this understanding that a Missiological dimension is build. In introducing this spiritual dimension towards an African Renaissance a Missiological methodology of a seven pointed praxis cycle is proposed and unpacked. In deconstructing this methodology real models are presented as examples to illustrate Missiology‘s contextual life-long learning philosophy.

Os desenvolvimentos teórico-empíricos no campo da eficácia da GRH estão pouco integrados (Deadrick & Gibson, 2007) e assiste-se a divergências que podem conduzir a impasses conceptuais (Hirsch & Levin, 1999). No sentido de compreender até que ponto esta fragmentação se estende ao campo conceptual dos práticos e qual o grau de partilha conceptual e instrumental entre práticos e teóricos, propusemo-nos desenvolver um estudo exploratório, de natureza qualitativa. Realizámos entrevistas, semi-estruturadas, a 36 profissionais de GRH (16 gestores e 20 gestores de linha) de 16 empresas (metade com a reputação de Great Place to Work) de diferentes sectores e dimensões, entre as quais líderes de mercado. As entrevistas focaram as concepções de eficácia da Gestão de Recursos Humanos (EGRH) dos práticos tomando por comparação as dos teóricos bem como os instrumentos de monitorização da EGRH. Constatámos que as concepções dos práticos são diversificadas, com um espaço conceptual partilhado com os teóricos e, de um modo geral, focalizadas na Satisfação e Bemestar dos Colaboradores e no Desenvolvimento do Capital Humano. As diferenças encontradas entre teóricos e práticos estão ao nível da medição da contribuição da GRH para a eficácia organizacional. Os práticos utilizam sobretudo a Gestão por Objectivos para monitorizar a EGRH. Porém, esta é uma abordagem menos eficaz e está muito distante das abordagens de ponta sugeridas pelos teóricos (cf. Phillips et al, 2001). Adicionalmente, verificámos que os gestores de RH e os gestores de linha ainda não constituem verdadeiros parceiros no desenvolvimento da função RH.
Theoretical and empirical developments in the field of HRM effectiveness are scarcely integrated (Deadrick & Gibson, 2007) and divergences may lead to conceptual dead ends (Hirsch & Levin, 1999). In order to understand the degree to which this fragmentation is extensive to the conceptual field of the practitioners, and to what level practitioners and theorists share the same concepts and instruments, we are proposing to develop an exploratory study, of qualitative nature. We have conducted semi-structured interviews, to 36 HRM professionals (16 managers and 20 line managers) from 16 companies (half of which accredited as Great Place to Work) from different industries and different sizes, some of which renowned as market leaders. Interviews focused on the HRM effectiveness (HRME) conceptions of the practitioners taking by comparison those of the theorists, as well as the HRME monitoring instruments. We have observed that the practitioner’s conceptions are diversified, with a conceptual scope that is partially shared by the theorists and, generally speaking, focused on the fulfillment of employee’s Well Being and on Human Capital Development. The differences between theorists and practitioners are found in the measurement of HRM’s contribution to organizational effectiveness. Practitioners mainly use Management by Objectives to monitor HRME. However, this is a less effective approach and is very distant from the leading-edge approaches suggested by the theorists (cf. Phillips et al, 2001). Additionally, we have established that HR managers and line managers are yet to become real partners in the development of the HR function.

Work explores the benefits of mentoring for the professional development of teachers and students of teaching. The aim is to contribute to discussions of mentoring in the Czech Republic. The theme of mentoring in our conditions is relatively new, so the work seeks to contribute to the theoretical grasp of the subject too. Research is conducted in qualitative approach using case study design. Case there is interaction between the mentor and mentee, where are defined other criteria for the selection of teachers in the role of mentor to the research sample. Used data collection methods are: questioning by interview via instruction manual, expert interviews and a questionnaire with open questions. Other methods are the video analysis, documents and focus groups. Obtained data were analyzed according to several theoretical frameworks according selected strategy seeking hits/congruence and these initial theoretical concepts were enriched with data from case analysis and compared with each other. The results show that the benefits are perceived more on mentee side and benefits are accentuated and focused on the development in the profession, mentee gain as hints, tips and advice based on experience and the development of their independent thinking within the teaching profession. The thesis aims at the elaboration of a business plan for establishing an Occupational Therapy private practice, which would provide Occupational Therapy service and rehabilitation for people with lasting functional deficit in their own social environment or in an Occupational Therapy outpatient department. The theoretic part focuses on the theoretic basis of business, requirements for establishing of a private practice and concept of strategic management and analysis. As organizações desportivas precisam de um sistema racional que corresponda às necessidades do consumidor com suas ofertas. O marketing no ambiente desportivo tem suas próprias especificidades. Esse ambiente turbulento é caracterizado por uma enorme volatilidade, e o marketing na indústria desportiva ganha um espaço constantemente maior. Portanto, todo clube desportivo precisa de uma estratégia de marketing para atingir seus objetivos da melhor maneira possível. Este estudo está focado na estratégia de marketing do Prague beach team z.s., um clube desportivo de voleibol de praia, localizado na República Checa. Nesta organização, não é dado muito espaço às atividades de marketing. As razões para tal são descritas neste estudo de caso. Foi usada a metodologia de estudo de caso para analisar a atual situação de marketing do clube Prague beach team z.s., e sugerir melhorias, tendo em conta o potencial da organização. Sports Marketing environment is constantly changing and developing, not only because of new technologies, as it is in most of the industries, but also because of the growing tendency in the sports industry in general. The sports organizations need a rational system that matches consumer´s needs with their offerings. Marketing in the sports environment has its own specifics. This turbulent environment is characterized by a huge volatility, and marketing in the sports industry gets a constantly bigger space. Therefore, every sports club needs its own marketing strategy to achieve their goals in the best possible way. This study is focused on the marketing strategy of Prague beach team z.s., a sports club focused on beach volleyball, located in the Czech Republic. Marketing does not have a big space in this association and it has its own reasons, which are described in this case study. A case study approach was selected as a method for this work and the analysis of Prague beach team z.s. is a very important part of it. The current marketing situation of the club is evaluated and the space for improvements is found. It is very important to understand that this organisation is very customer-oriented sports club, which is not focused on the profit of the club, as it is usually expected. The result of the case study can be found in the last part of this thesis and it consists mostly of recommendations and evaluation of Prague beach team z.s.

Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the area of preschool education in the Central Region in connection with the application of the Long-term Plan on Education (DZ) of the Ministry and of the region. Special attention is paid to the context and development of the current problem, which is longer-term unmet demand for placement in kindergarten in some parts of the region. The aim of this paper is to describe the demographic and socioeconomic specifics of the investigated region and their development over the last decade as an environment for pre- school education. The theoretical part of this work presents a comparison of DZ of Ministry of Education from 2015 to 2020 with its corresponding draft document of the Central Bohemian Region (2016). It brings the discussion of selected chapters of the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Education and Training of the Central Region in the European pre-school education. It outlines the evaluation of success by DZ the Central Region in the past in the light of statistical data. The focal point of the research section consists of interpretations of statistical data on the number of received / missed children in preschool education over the past five years and their relation to the Long-term Plan for Education Ministry, respectively.
