However k means clustering algorithm cannot guarantees an efficient retrieval where the choosing centroid in the large volume of data would be difficult. My experiences in a specific environment and how I relate to it, study it, remember it, or imagine it drive me to create pieces. While the choices I make are influenced by my own experiences, I want to evoke feelings of familiarity, intrigue, and a sense of nostalgia. In my process, I intuitively layer paint, printed materials, and mixed media to make a foundation for exploration. I continue to experiment by applying more

Air drilling is limited to competent formations that are essentially dry. In these circumstances large shale fragments are often observed and it is believed that these large shale fragments are not from the cutting action of drill bit at the bottom of the hole but from caving in, or sloughing of the wellbore wall. This type of wellbore instability problems may occur when drilling formations have significant amounts of water-sensitive clays. Change in shale water content due to water dehydration induces additional rock stresses near the wellbore, which can destabilize the borehole. The primary

Abstract:
The southeast Ramparts River map area (NTS 106-G/SE) covers part of the northern Mackenzie Mountains and Peel Plateau, Northwest Territories. Bedrock exposures in the area include carbonate and siliciclastic strata ranging from Neoproterozoic (Tonian) to Cretaceous age. These strata were deformed in Cretaceous to Eocene time by folding and contractional faulting associated with Cordilleran deformation. Major structures include the Deadend fault, Tawu anticline, Stony anticline, and Shattered Range anticline. A set of minor pre-Cordilleran extensional faults is preserved within Neoproterozoic s

Abstract:
“Globalization increases poverty” is a common assertion made by critics of globalization. The proliferation of low-wage jobs and higher food prices are some of the arguments brought forward in support of this argument. One of the hallmarks of globalization is the systematic dismantling of barriers to trade. Advocates of trade liberalization – particularly industrialized country agriculture reform – argue that the ensuing rise in world prices for agriculture products will boost rural incomes, thereby reducing poverty in the poorest countries, where the bulk of world poverty resides. Abstract:
Cretaceous-Paleogene strata along the eastern coast of Baffin Island, on Bylot Island, and on associated islands north of Cape Dyer, have been known since the early days of exploration of Baffin Bay in the mid-nineteenth century. Studies of these strata in the 1970s-1990s established their clastic nature and revealed details of their stratigraphy, ages, and depositional settings. Onshore strata in the Cape Dyer area accumulated in close association with volcanic deposits related to late-stage rifting in the Late Cretaceous to Early Paleocene that eventually formed Baffin Bay. In contrast, depo
