Cílem předloženého textu je prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumného šetření zjistit, jak žáci gymnázia hodnotí výuku jednotlivých vyučovacích předmětů, a také načrtnout, zda žákovské hodnocení výuky může disponovat hybnou silou umožňující žákům ovlivňovat podobu výuky směrem k vyšší efektivitě a kvalitě. Tato problematika byla zkoumána za pomoci zúčastněného pozorování výuky a rozhovorů se žáky a vyučujícími jedné středoškolské třídy. Na základě analýzy získaných dat bylo zjištěno, že žáci jsou schopni hodnotit výuku z různých úhlů pohledu a brát při tom v potaz celou řadu prvků. Stěžejními prvky výuky, které žáci sledují, jsou například vlastnosti a jednání učitele, expertnost učitele, didaktické kompetence učitele a s tím související cíle, metody, efekty výuky atd. Žákovské hodnocení výuky je tedy výsledkem rozsáhlé analýzy jednotlivých prvků výuky a jejich opětovné syntézy, která ústí ve formulování finálního stanoviska.

Příspěvek je zaměřen na efekt, který má zařazení chemie do rámcových vzdělávacích programů pro obory vzdělání středního odborného vzdělávání. Tento efekt je zjišťován jako rozdíl mezi postoji žáků k chemii po ukončení základní školní docházky a po ukončení středoškolské výuky chemie, tedy v prvním ročníku střední odborné školy nechemického zaměření. Zjištěné výsledky jsou propojeny s výsledky dříve provedených výzkumů v této oblasti. Z koncepčního hlediska je nutné podniknout potřebné kroky směrem ke zvýšení kvality výuky chemie na těchto školách, jelikož právě na nich studuje většina žáků středních škol tvořící následně všeobecné mínění společnosti.

Molekulární biologie je rychle se rozvíjející vědní obor a s jejími metodami se setkáváme i v každodenním životě. Proto je důležité, aby byla zastoupena ve výuce biologie na gymnáziích. Jedním z cílů studie bylo analyzovat rozložení vzdělávacího obsahu molekulární biologie na úrovni gymnaziálních školních vzdělávacích programů (ŠVP) do jednotlivých ročníků a zjistit, která molekulárně biologická témata jsou v ŠVP zastoupena a jak často. Dalším cílem bylo otestovat srozumitelnost a atraktivitu pokročilých molekulárně biologických laboratorních cvičení určených pro žáky střední školy. ŠVP celkem 160 gymnázií ze všech krajů ČR byly hodnoceny z hlediska zařazení deseti tematických kategorií výukového obsahu molekulární biologie ve vyučovacích předmětech biologie, chemie a volitelných biologických a chemických seminářích. Data byla analyzována shlukovou analýzou a následným Ï2 testem nezávislosti. V letech 2011–2013 byly realizovány čtyři různé typy praktických cvičení z molekulární biologie, kterých se zúčastnilo 466 žáků středních škol. Cvičení probíhala buď na Přírodovědecké fakultě Univerzity Karlovy v Praze, nebo na středních školách, vedl je vysokoškolský lektor nebo středoškolský učitel. Po ukončení cvičení žáci vyplnili reflektivní dotazník, ve kterém laboratorní cvičení zhodnotili. Získaná data byla zpracována pomocí analýzy rozptylu. Výsledky ukazují, že molekulárně biologická témata jsou do výuky na gymnáziích zařazena převážně izolovaně v posledním ročníku povinné výuky biologie či chemie. Řada témat je v rámci povinné výuky opomíjena, případně je zařazena pouze v povinně volitelných seminářích. Realizovaná molekulárně biologická cvičení byla žáky celkově hodnocena velmi kladně. Byly zjištěny rozdíly hodnocení cvičení v závislosti na typu cvičení, na vyučujícím a místě průběhu laboratorního cvičení. Na základě výsledků je možné doporučit více provázat učivo molekulární biologie a ostatních biologických oborů a zařazovat pokročilá laboratorní cvičení do výuky.

Cílem předkládané studie je analyzovat determinanty dobrého vztahu mezi třídním učitelem a žáky na střední odborné škole. Zaměřujeme se při tom na osobu třídní učitelky. V první části jsou vymezena teoretická východiska. Vycházíme hlavně z výzkumů expertnosti učitele a výzkumů vztahů mezi učitelem a žáky. V druhé části příspěvku jsou představeny dílčí výsledky případové studie středoškolské třídy s dobrým sociálním klimatem, jež se týkají výhradně zkoumané třídní učitelky. Vzorek tvořilo 24 studentů a třídní učitelka. Na základě analýzy dat byly u učitelky identifikovány jednak osobnostní předpoklady k budování optimálního vztahu s žáky (mateřská starostlivost a vřelost, extroverze a zdravé sebevědomí, životní zkušenosti a mladistvost), jednak charakteristické interpersonální chování k žákům (expresivní komunikace, podněcování, povzbuzování, neformální vedení výuky, péče a podpora, otevřené vyjadřování emocí, naslouchání a sdílení osobních informací a uplatňování vlivu).

Using of modern technologies has been increasing in the sectors of economic and by people. If educational system shall prepare students for the future, it should learn them to work with that technologies, for example computers or tablets. Modern technologies have been entering to schools increasingly but very slowly. Effects of their usage in the educational process have not been examined sufficiently. This thesis applies to advantages and disadvantages of teaching population and settlement geography with a tablet, particularly using the Nearpod application. The influence of teaching with tablet on students' test results is analyzed on the basis of taught lessons and didactic tests. Then, advantages and disadvantages of tablet using at school are established for students and teachers according to interviews and observation during the lessons. This study shows that tablet using does not have to mean higher students' scores in the tests. Students are more motivated, lessons are more entertaining for them in comparison to traditional lessons. Tablets also provide priceless feedback to them. The thesis can be divided into two main parts: The research part deals with investigation of typical students' conceptual difficulties in the field of thermal phenomena and its primary goal is to identify the most distinctive misconceptions of observed population. More than 500 students were questioned using a conceptual test both as pretest and posttest; approximately half of them also participated in the retention test which took part two years after pretest. The results of the conceptual test are connected with data obtained on the basis of the simultaneously conducted research of students' attitudes. The developmental part of the thesis - partly inspired by previous misconception research - deals with arranging, documentation and testing of experiments relevant to teaching of thermodynamics. Possibilities of demography implementation in the classes at higher secondary education level Abstract The main goals of the diploma thesis are to evaluate the degree of implementation and the potential of demography during lessons at the higher secondary school level and to suggest specific activities that can be implemented within the lessons. It is the first thesis aimed solely at the didactics of demography. The work uses publicly available online databases of the Czech Statistical Office, the United Nations and the Population Reference Bureau. An analysis of syllabi of subjects from the first years of selected universities, a content analysis of selected secondary school textbooks and a Framework Education Programme were performed. The analyses show a large scope for the implementation of demography not only in the teaching of geography. The work is complemented by specific proposals of activities that can be used in teaching at upper secondary schools. The issue of transgenic crops and the third world is mostly neglected in secondary education. In view of the fact that it is an interesting topic that gains greater importance worldwide, it would deserve the place in secondary education. It is not necessary to submit information about this topic only in the text form to students but teaching methods that force the students to gain information actively, can be used. Text for teachers was created in diploma thesis. The text could serve as a source of information for teachers in preparing for the lesson about this topic. Then test for students was created. The test consists of tasks that are inspired by the PISA. Students have to gain information actively from the texts in the tasks to solve the tasks correctly. The test consists of three thematic areas (transgenic crops, golden rice, vaccination and edible vaccines) and 16 questions (31 including the sub-questions). The test was verified on a sample of 82 grammar school students at the age of 16 to 19 years. The students were of the four classes in four grammar schools. The students recorded their answers in a data sheet. The data sheet included additional questions that sought the views and attitudes of students towards texts and questions in the test. The focus of this thesis was to find and evaluate the information resources available to teachers, in the context of creating or conducting demonstrational and student experiments in the Physics of the Microworld at high school. Another goal of the thesis was the creation of four sets of aids for experiments from various areas of microworld physics taught at the high school level. These sets contain instructions for teachers and worksheets for pupils. Another goal was to make the sets portable, which all four met. Part of this work is a description of the created experimental sets, worksheets for pupils and texts for teachers. The experimental sets will be stored on the premises of the Department of Physics Education and will be available for loan to teachers for teaching purposes.

The doctoral thesis is divided into two parts - Thermal analysis in physics education on high school and Material research of Al-Zn-Mg(-Cu-Sc-Zr) alloys. Within the first part, the areas of crystallization and/or melting of selected foods were determined using differential scanning calorimetry. A practical lesson for high school physics has been created and tested. The study text focused mainly on differential scanning calorimetry and its use was made. In the second part of the doctoral thesis, there was analysed thermal evolution of the phase transformation in the Al- Zn-Mg(-Cu) alloys with Sc and Zr addition. The effect of (cold and hot) deformation on the decomposition sequences was studied. The hardening effect after annealing above 300 řC in the Sc and Zr alloys is caused by the precipitation of the secondary Al3Sc,Zr) particles. These particles were observed by transmission electron microscopy after annealing up to 360 řC in all studied AlZnMg(Cu)ScZr alloys. In the AlZnMgCu alloy the partial recrystallization was observed after annealing at 350 řC/10 hours and after annealing at 450 řC/10 hours the grain size was 50-200 m (depending on the treatment of the alloy). The addition of Sc, Zr in the AlZnMgCuScZr stabilizes grains and there is no recrystallization in the AlZnMgCuScZr alloy at temperature...

This PhD thesis deals with a topic of food chemistry and nutrition in secondary school education in chemistry lessons. The theoretical part summarizes significance and evaluation of textbooks and furthermore it focuses on modern approaches in chemistry lessons with the main focus on interactive boards. The methodological part deals with the analysis of framework educational programs, textbook analysis, questionaire surveys and creation of teaching materials. The practical part of this thesis summarizes the results of analysis of framework educational programs and textbooks in relation to food chemistry and diseases related to nutrition. It shows results of a questionnaire survey which has examined knowledge of students in the area of proper nutrition, diet and diseases related to nutrition and also relationship of students to this issue and to the subject of chemistry in general. It also summarizes the results of verification of studying materials which have arisen in this thesis. The practical part also includes an educational text for teachers on the topic of lipids, which was developed based on the results of extensive analysis of secondary school chemistry and biology textbooks, framework analysis of educational programs and research at secondary schools in the Czech Republic.
