The analysis of business models of banks is a new approach to determining the financial condition and financial soundness of an individual bank and the entire banking system. The definition and analysis of banks' business models allow understanding better financial and economic activities, risk appetite, and management system. Using banks in the West African Monetary Union (WAMU) as a framework for study, we conducted a study on a base of 14 banks from 2006 to 2017.

Empirical analysis using a system of simultaneous equations reveals that changes in prudential regulation, as well as structural and functional changes at board level, result in an increase in banking risk.

Digital ecosystems allow banks to expand their offerings of financial and non-financial services, and thereby raise the quality and speed of customer service. Yet the broader range of banks’ non-financial services increases the size of their non-core assets and affects their financial stability. This creates certain complexities to ecosystems’ management both at the level of a bank and at the level of financial market regulation. The TREX (Transcription-Export) complex is a well-conserved assembly of proteins, which is essential in eukaryotic gene expression. The expression of mRNA involves a number of processing events of primary transcripts to form a mature mRNA. TREX functions at the interface between transcription and export, associating with transcripts at various stages during its processing and packages it into an export-competent mRNP. Export of most mRNAs is dependent on the export receptor, Nxf1. This protein is recruited to the mRNP by directly binding to TREX components. Because the association of TREX with

Senescence is an agriculturally significant process due to its negative impact to crop yield and postharvest quality. The genetic regulatory systems controlling senescence induction and progress respond to both developmental and environmental stress signals and involve numerous gene expression changes. Knowledge about the key molecular factors which control senescence is very limited. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small RNAs which typically function by guiding cleavage of target messenger RNAs. They have been shown to play major roles in a variety of plant processes including development,

Abstract:
This report analyses the Technological Innovation System (TIS) of Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) in Austria. The study’s scope is consistent with the IEA PVPS Task 15 report [1].The analysis aims to facilitate and support the innovation, development, and implementation of industrial solutions of BIPV technologies. In Austria, the use of BIPV is still a niche application and covers under 2% of all implemented PV systems [1]. BIPV technology in Austria has historically developed with the support of different public financial incentives, national and European. The history of BIPV is som
