Abstract:
Online shopping has become a new shopping style. There is little research about online impulsive buying (OIB). We develop the questionnaire of the reasons for OIB by open and structured questionnaires. There are all about 327 participants took part in our survey, of which 102 participated in the open questionnaire and another225 participated in the structured questionnaire. Based on content analysis, we found that the reason for OIB includes four factors: perceived usefulness, price, entertainment and interpersonal interaction. Internal consistency analyses and CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) showed the questionnaire had high reliability and validity.

Abstract:
ABSTRACTBackground:Subjective memory complaints (SMCs) are a common occurrence for adults, which increase with age, and cause considerable distress. Traditionally SMCs have been assessed by either questionnaires, which ask whether a person has experienced given examples of SMCs, or open-ended questions which elicit spontaneous reports of SMCs. However, little is known about how these methods of assessment might influence reporting of SMCs.Methods:Four hundred and twenty one adults aged 40 years and above were surveyed about SMCs using spontaneous report and questionnaire methods. Results:As expected, spontaneously reported SMCs were fewer in number and rated more distressing overall than SMCs endorsed on a questionnaire. However, comparison of individual SMCs revealed that distress ratings tended to be higher when assessed in a questionnaire than spontaneously reported, which may be due to the context of a questionnaire causing inflated ratings. Participants also reported SMCs which were not well assessed by the questionnaire, including some which were among the most distressing SMCs overall. Conversely, other SMCs were over-sampled by the questionnaire and did not feature in spontaneous reports. Conclusions:Implications for clinical assessment of SMCs are that open-ended questioning might be preferable to initial use of prescriptive questionnaires, in order to elicit SMCs that are most distressing. While use of questionnaires may reveal endorsement of a wider range of SMCs than are spontaneously reported, they can take focus away from, or even fail to assess, those SMCs which cause most subjective distress (and therefore should be the target of interventions).

Abstract:
SummarySeveral reviews on social functioning measurements using structured interviews or questionnaires have been published in recent years. This report examines Weissman and Brugha’s report on these tools and the respective interest of self-rating scales or interviews. In the elderly, multidimensional tools such as MAI or CARE have proven to be very useful. Questionnaires may be the best tools for assessing social adaptation in the elderly: a short self-rating scale that aims to assess social adaptation in the elderly in the community has therefore been presented. The SII Q is derived from the Multilevel Assessment Instrument (MAI) and the Index of Social Support (ISS). A principal component analysis of this new Social Integration and Independence Questionnaire (17 items) elicited four factors accounting for 48.8% of the variance, representing four parameters of social functioning: independence, social integration, familial interaction and depression.

Abstract:
Construction delay is a common problem costing the industry billions of dollars every year. The first step to reduce this unnecessary loss is to identify the major delay factors. More than 200 studies on major construction delays have been reported using self-administered questionnaire surveys of views of project participants. The present approach adopted is reviewed by a case study of Egypt. Thirty-two delay factors were identified as major construction delay factors. A thorough review of these eight studies revealed many shortcomings in the present approach. A structured approach is proposed for questionnaire survey to study major construction delay factors.

Abstract:
It is becoming increasingly important to determine whether structural models of measures of sport and activity behavior developed in North America are invarant across different populations. This study assessed (a) the cross-cultural validity of the Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire (TEOSQ) using male college students across the United States (n = 309), Thailand (n = 312), and Taiwan (n = 307); and (b) the factorial equivalence and structured latent mean differences of the TEOSQ in these samples. Using a confirmatory factor analytic procedure, the initial test of the hypothesized two-factor structure representing task and ego orientation yielded a good fit for each sample. The factor structure was further shown to be metric invariant across the three countries. Furthermore, tests of latent means showed significant differences between groups. The United States sample exhibited the highest levels of task and ego orientation, followed by the Taiwan and Thailand samples, respectively.

Abstract:
BackgroundThe incidence of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after traumatic brain injury is unclear. One issue involves the validity of diagnosis using self-report questionnaires.AimsTo compare PTSD ‘caseness' arising from questionnaire self-report and structured interview.MethodParticipants (n=34) with traumatic brain injury were recruited. Screening measures and self-report questionnaires were administered, followed by the structured interview.ResultsUsing questionnaires, 59% fulfilled criteria for PTSD on the Post-traumatic Diagnostic Scale and 44% on the Impact of Events Scale, whereas using structured interview (Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale) only 3% were ‘cases'. This discrepancy may arise from confusions between effects of PTSD and traumatic brain injury.ConclusionsAfter traumatic brain injury, PTSD self-report measures might be used for screening but not diagnosis.

Abstract:
People often develop strong emotional connections with their dogs and consider them to be members of the family. The purpose of this study was to develop a novel validated tool, the Mourning Dog Questionnaire, to recognise and evaluate the mourning process in people who have lost a dog. The research model was based on a grid of five different questionnaires: the Pet Bereavement Questionnaire, the Lexington Attachment to Pets Scale, the Animal-Human Continuity Scale, the Positivity Scale, and the Testoni Death Representation Scale. The Italian version of the survey was posted on social networks. A sample of 369 Italian dog owners filled in the questionnaire (mean age ± SD 42.00 ± 10.70 years). Reliability indices were good for all instruments. The total scores of the five questionnaires correlated with each other. The results from the Mourning Dog Questionnaire support the negative view of life after the death of a pet and people’s tendency to humanise their pet, since dog owners perceived animals no differently from humans in terms of emotions, needs and legal rights. Findings arising from the use of the Mourning Dog Questionnaire will help the implementation of rationality-based strategies to improve the wellbeing, resilience and quality of life of people in the world experiencing the loss of a pet.

Abstract:
The purpose of the presented research is the development of a questionnaire for gifted individuals’ values assessment. This instrument is needed because the general personal values questionnaire has a very broad focus and cannot assess specific personal preferences of gifted individuals. Probably, those preferences are internally connected with the nature of giftedness. The instrument is based on previously conducted in-depth structured interviews with students and successful professionals on their personal lifestyle and values. The highlighted personal values types, their features create a basis for the questionnaire item development. The first questionnaire version was tested on a sample of 137 students. The instrument’s construct validity is confirmed by results of factor analysis, which provided a meaningful and bright structure of seven orthogonal factors. They describe the following specific value patterns: intensive emotional experience; productive creative activity; social recognition; comfortable living conditions; career achievements; value uncertainty; subjective comfort. These results created the basis for relevant scales development. Those scales show enough internal consistency, the alpha coefficient is in the range from 0.69 to 0.80. Also scales item discriminativeness is upper 0.20 that corresponds to the psychometric requirements. The future researches will focus on item difficulty analysis, detailed studies of retest reliability and validity, test norm development.

Abstract:
Background: Capturing the variability that exists among patients attending an amputee clinic using standardized paper-based questionnaires is time-consuming and may not be practical for routine clinical use. Electronic questionnaires are a potential solution; however, the benefits are dependent on the feasibility and acceptance of this mode of data collection among patients. Objective: To determine the feasibility and patient preference/comfort in using a tablet-based questionnaire for data collection in an outpatient amputee rehabilitation clinic compared to a traditional paper-based questionnaire. Study design: Observational study. Methods: In all, 48 patients with major extremity amputations completed both tablet and paper questionnaires related to their amputation and prosthetic use. Both trials were timed; patients then completed a semi-structured questionnaire about their experience. Results: In all, 20.5% of patients needed hands-on assistance completing the paper questionnaire compared to 20.8% for the tablet. The majority of participants (52.1%) indicated a preference for the tablet questionnaire; 64.6% of patients felt the tablet collected a more complete and accurate representation of their status and needs. In all, 70.8% of participants described themselves as comfortable using the tablet. Conclusion: Despite comorbidities, patients with amputations demonstrated excellent acceptance of the electronic tablet-based questionnaire. Tablet questionnaires have significant potential advantages over paper questionnaires and should be further explored. Clinical relevance A custom electronic questionnaire was found to be beneficial for routine clinic use and was well received by patients in an amputee rehabilitation clinic. Development of such questionnaires can provide an efficient mechanism to collect meaningful data that can be used for individual patient care and program quality improvement initiatives.

Abstract:
The paper describes the construction of a new religious motivation questionnaire. The construction was proceeded by an analysis which revealed that the existing instruments for assessing religious motivation have deficiencies and, most importantly, may not be suitable for use with persons in adolescence or younger. In the first phase of the questionnaire construction, a semi-structured interview was used on a sample of 111 respondents aged 10-25 from Belgrade. The interview findings suggested the presence of religious motivation dimensions which are not contained in the existing instruments. In the second phase, an initial pool of items, formulated based on interview answers, was administered to a sample of 354 secondary school and university students from Belgrade. Principal component analysis revealed five dimensions of religious motivation measured by the constructed questionnaire: religion as ultimate value; religion as a means of wish-fulfillment; religion as a source of emotional well-being; ideals and morality; religion as a part of tradition; and tendency to meet social expectations regarding religion. The questionnaire scales show excellent reliability.

Abstract:
The present study investigated the factor structure, scale dimensionality, discriminant validity, internal consistency, simplex structure, and nomological validity of the Greek translation of the Behavioral Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire-2 (BREQ-2; Markland & Tobin, 2004 ). A total of 733 Greek exercise participants completed the translated scale to indicate their reasons for participation in structured exercise programs. Confirmatory factor analyses supported the a priori 5-factor structure with strong internal consistency for the instrument subscales. Further support was obtained for the simplex pattern as well as the nomological correlations of the translated BREQ-2 responses with self-determination theory variables. Overall, the results provided initial support for the psychometric value of the Greek translation of the BREQ-2, rendering it appropriate for continued self-determination exercise research among Greek-speaking exercise participants.

Abstract:
We sought to design a touch tablet asthma questionnaire while identifying patient preferences for usability features of such questionnaires. We created an evidence-based prototype and employed rapid-cycle design (semi-structured focus group testing, analysis, corresponding modifications, re-testing) with asthma patients aged ⩾16 years. We analyzed transcripts using deductive and inductive content analysis. Quantitative measures included Likert-type-scale responses, the System Usability Scale, and questionnaire completion times. There were 20 participants across five focus groups (15/20 female, age 49.1 ± 15.6 years). Usability-related themes included (1) “Touch Technology” (hygiene, touch technology familiarity, ease of use) and (2) “Questionnaire Design” (visual characteristics, navigation). Completion time was 11.7 ± 5.9 min. Summative Likert-type scale responses suggested high system usability, as did a System Usability Scale score of 84.2 ± 14.7. In summary, Attention to specific technology- and design-related preferences can result in a highly usable patient-facing touch tablet questionnaire. Our findings can inform touch questionnaire design across other diseases.

Abstract:
Accurately diagnosing autism spectrum disorders in adulthood can be challenging. Structured questionnaires and diagnostic measures are frequently used to assist case recognition and diagnosis. This study reviewed research evidence on structured questionnaires and diagnostic measures published since the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence evidence update. The Cochrane library, Medline, Embase and PsycINFO were searched. In all, 20 studies met inclusion criteria. Sensitivity and specificity of structured questionnaires were best for individuals with previously confirmed autism spectrum disorder diagnoses and reduced in participants referred for diagnostic assessments, with discrimination of autism spectrum disorder from mental health conditions especially limited. For adults with intellectual disability, diagnostic accuracy increased when a combination of structured questionnaires were used. Evidence suggests some utility of diagnostic measures in identifying autism spectrum disorder among clinic referrals, although specificity for diagnosis was relatively low. In mental health settings, the use of a single structured questionnaire is unlikely to accurately identify adults without autism spectrum disorder or differentiate autism spectrum disorder from mental health conditions. This is important as adults seeking an autism spectrum disorder diagnostic assessment are likely to have co-existing mental health conditions. Robust autism spectrum disorder assessment tools specifically for use in adult diagnostic health services in the presence of co-occurring mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders are a research priority.

Abstract:
A survey involving 329 randomly selected respondents (172 male; 157 female) from Korea and 203 (109 male; 94 female) from Ethiopia has revealed that significantly fewer of the Ethiopian respondents were prepared to accept insects as human food than Koreans did. Vertical transmission of entomophagic knowledge was important for Koreans, but of negligible importance to Ethiopians. In both cultures male subjects were more inclined to accept insects as food. Koreans and Ethiopians would accept cookies containing insect components in preference to other food items with insects, but only 11.1% of the Ethiopians versus 45.6% of the Koreans would be willing to serve a meal containing insects. The results show that the widely held opinion that citizens of industrialised, developed countries were less inclined towards eating insects than inhabitants of poorer, less industrialised, developing countries is not generalizable and therefore is wrong. Reasons for the observed differences in attitudes towards entomophagy between Ethiopians and Koreans appear to be related to history, habits, traditions and familiarity as well as possibly religious beliefs and the channels through which the information on insects as human food reaches the people.

Abstract:
ObjectivesTo identify barriers and enablers to participant retention in trials requiring questionnaire return using the theoretical domains framework (TDF).Study design and settingWe identified and subsequently invited participants who did not return at least one questionnaire during their participation in a clinical trial for one-to-one semi-structured telephone interviews. We used a behavioural framework (TDF) to explore whether any of the behavioural domains (eg, beliefs about consequences, emotion) affected questionnaire return. Thereafter, we generated a series of belief statements which summarised the content of participants’ main responses and coded these under separate themes.ParticipantsWe distributed invites to 279 eligible individuals and subsequently interviewed 9 participants who took part in the C-Gall trial. The C-Gall trial required participants to complete five postal questionnaires during their participation.ResultsNine participants were interviewed. We developed 7 overarching themes which were relevant for returning postal questionnaires and identified both barriers and enablers from 11 core domains: knowledge; beliefs about consequences; environmental context and resources; reinforcement; emotion; beliefs about capabilities; behavioural regulation; social professional role and identity; skills; intentions and goals. Relevant content coded under these salient domains were categorised into seven key themes: unclear expectations of trial participation, personal attributes for questionnaire return, commitment to returning questionnaires given other priorities, sources of support in returning the questionnaires, individual preferences for presentation mode and timing of the questionnaires, internal and external strategies to encourage questionnaire return and the significance of questionnaire non-return.ConclusionWe demonstrate how a behavioural approach may be useful for clinical trials associated with significant participation burden (e.g. trials that require multiple questionnaire responses), acting as the essential groundwork for the development of appropriate evidence-based solutions to combat retention issues.Trial registration number55215960; Pre-results.

Abstract:
Schools must have a process model which describes the structured flow that is appropriate in every action to be taken in activities at the school, especially in payment process SPP. Even though it has entered the millennial era, there are still many schools that use the SPP payment process model using the manual method, because they have to adjust to the environment. To get the appropriate process model, an information system configuration is needed in which an information system can create an appropriate process model. To configure an information system, it must obtain configuration data from the environment obtained through Questionnaire-Driven. From the data obtained from Questionnaire-Driven, an information system configuration process is carried out to determine the payment process model of the school SPP payment system.

Abstract:
Abstract Objective: To create a structured computed tomography (CT) report for the systematic evaluation of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), based on the opinions of clinicians and surgeons. Materials and Methods: This was a prospective study in which we applied a 21-item questionnaire to experts in pancreatic diseases in order to create a model of a structured abdominal CT report. The questionnaire addressed the location and size of PDACs, as well as their effects on adjacent structures and on the vasculature, together with metastases. We used a Likert scale to determine which of those parameters should be included in the model. Results: A total of 18 experts (12 surgeons and 6 clinicians) from 9 institutions completed the questionnaire. All of the experts agreed that the following (if present) should be described in the CT report on a PDAC: the degree of enhancement; the diameter and location of the lesion; pancreatic duct obstruction; biliary dilatation; pancreatic atrophy; liver metastases; peritoneal nodules; ascites; lymph node enlargement; and invasion of adjacent structures. More than 80% of the experts agreed that the report should also describe the relationship between the PDAC and the surrounding vasculature. Conclusion: We have developed a template for a CT report on patients with PDAC, based on the opinions of experts involved in the treatment of such patients.

Abstract:
The main purpose of the study was to establish the moderating effect of government regulations on the relationship between internal control system and fraud prevention in baking sector. Structured questionnaire was used as tool for data collection. The study was based on all banks registered and operating in Kenya and the questionnaires were meant for branch managers, operations mangers and cash managers in head offices of all banks. One hundred and seventeen questionnaires were distributed and officers from 33 banks out 39 banks returned fully filled questionnaires. The questionnaires were analyzed using Structural equation Model (SEM). The findings indicated that the government regulations have significant moderating effect of control environment and risk assessment. However, there was insignificant moderating effect on control activities, communication and monitoring of activities. The study suggested that further studies and analysis should be undertaken to establish those legislations and regulations that should be enhanced, abolished and also establish need of new laws to enhance the functions of internal control system.

Abstract:
This is a quantitative methodological development study on the cross-cultural adaptation of the "Family Needs Questionnaire" (FNQ), which is a structured instrument developed in the United States to measure the perceived needs of family members after the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) of a relative. This instrument aims to identify important needs presented by family members, whether met or not. The FNQ translation and adaptation followed a particular method, which permitted to achieve semantic, idiomatic, cultural and conceptual equivalence of the instrument version labeled in Portuguese as "Questionário de Necessidades da Família". The results of the questionnaire application to 161 family members showed that the instrument content is valid to measure the needs of families of patients with TBI in the Brazilian context.

Abstract:
Opioids remain a common method of treating chronic pain conditions despite some controversy. In an effort to address some of the risks of opioid medications, opioid risk assessment has become a standard of care when opioids are used to treat a chronic pain condition. Research to date has found that many currently available patient-completed written questionnaires are relatively poor at identifying which patients will engage in medication aberrant behavior in the future. Clinical interview techniques have been found to provide better prediction, but practitioners often prefer the convenience of patient-completed tools. In this study, a new brief patient-completed risk tool, the Brief Risk Questionnaire (BRQ), was created and compared with a structured clinical interview and two commonly used patient-completed risk assessment tools: the Opioid Risk Tool (ORT) and Screener and Opioid Assessment for Patients with Pain-Revised (SOAPP-R). The different risk assessment measures were administered to 454 patients at a pain clinic and their prediction of medication aberrant behavior at 6-month follow-up was compared. Results found that the BRQ was able to predict future medication aberrant behavior better than the other two patient-completed risk measures and almost as well overall as a structured clinical interview rating system. This study indicates that the BRQ could be a useful new tool for clinicians in conducting opioid risk assessment.

Abstract:
Objective The existence of test stress has been widely reported among professional students. To our knowledge, no studies exist that explore student stress response to objective structured clinical examinations. The aim of this study was to evaluate possible correlations between stress and objective structured clinical examination performance in a sample of chiropractic students. Methods A total of 116 students completed a 2-part questionnaire to assess test stress and the physiological symptoms and signs of stress. Heart rate, systolic blood pressure, and diastolic were measured during the physical examination laboratory class within the first 3 weeks and then again just prior to their objective structured clinical examination in week 5. Statistical tests were then performed for questionnaire data, heart rate and blood pressure differences, and correlation between the objective structured clinical examination grade and symptoms and signs. Results Questionnaire results showed that 5.1%–22.4% of students sometimes or often felt a certain degree of stress. More than 50% had 1 or more physiological symptoms and signs of stress. The objective structured clinical examination heart rate (75.23 ± 11.20 vs 68.16 ± 8.82, p < .001), systolic blood pressure (120.43 ± 9.59 vs 114.97 ± 11.83, p < .001), and diastolic blood pressure (73.00 ± 7.93 vs 69.32 ± 7.76, p < .001) were significantly higher than baseline. There were also negative linear correlations between objective structured clinical examination grades and physiological symptoms and signs and between objective structured clinical examination grades and feeling statement score. Conclusion The results support our hypothesis that chiropractic students experience stress when performing the objective structured clinical examination and that high levels of stress had a negative impact on performance.
