Abstract:
Jelen cikk keretein belül a Code Composer Studio ezen sokrétű funkcionalitását kívánom bemutatni.

Abstract:
PurposeThis research aims to explore how textual literacy and computational literacy can support each other and combine to create literacies with new critical possibilities. It describes the development of a Web application for interactive storytelling and analyzes how its use in a high-school classroom supported new rhetorical techniques and critical analysis of gender and race.Design/methodology/approachThree iterations of design-based research were used to develop a Web application for interactive storytelling, which combines writing with programming. A two-week study in a high-school sociology class was conducted to analyze how the Web application's textual and computational affordances support rhetorical strategies, which in turn support identity authorship and critical possibilities.FindingsThe results include a Web application for interactive storytelling and an analytical framework for analyzing how affordances of digital media can support literacy practices with unique critical possibilities. The final study showed how interactive stories can function as critical discourse models, simulations of social realities which support analysis of phenomena such as social positioning and the use of power.Originality/valuePrevious work has insufficiently spanned the fields of learning sciences and literacies, respectively emphasizing the mechanisms and the content of literacy practices. In focusing a design-based approach on critical awareness of identity, power and privilege, this research develops tools and theory for supporting critical computational literacies. This research envisions a literacy-based approach to K-12 computer science which could contribute to liberatory education.

Abstract:
This article traces the long and antagonistic fashioning of the National Recovery Adminstration's code of practice for the film industry during 1933. The NRA code process publicly exposed resentful fissions within Hollywood, and the oligarchic, if not monopolistic, way in which the major film studios had set up their vertically integrated consolidation of the motion-picture industry in terms of production, distribution and exhibition on a national scale. A media spotlight flooded onto their soundstages and executive suites, and many, including President Franklin Roosevelt, were not pleased with what they saw. The NRA, signed into law in 1933 by Roosevelt, implemented an unprecedented reorganization of the American economy to restore employment to combat the Great Depression. Perhaps most controversially, especially for the union-averse film industry, the NRA established collective bargaining. Though they supported it initially, the major studios would not long abide by the NRA. Throughout 1933, they violated the spirit and letter of the code, ensuring as much as possible that the economic pain and sacrifice of the Great Depression in Hollywood was visited upon artists and technicians, not studio heads and executives. They used the making of the code to attempt to cement and further the advantages they enjoyed while offering little to other interests in the film industry.

Abstract:
Digitalisation is one of the major trends which changes society and businesses. Digitalisation include buying software helping in the automatization of business process. Gaining competitive advantage can be achieved by implementing dedicated (customized) IT solutions tailored to the specificity of a given enterprise. However, dedicated solutions are expensive, and many companies cannot afford them. No-code technology – the newest trend in the IT sector – are said to be the solution to this problem. The article discusses why no-code technology is gaining popularity. The paper also presents the differences between no-code and traditional programming approaches. A detailed description of no-code technology was based on the investigation of a no-code platform called Logotec App Studio. The article stresses the possible applications of no-code tools in companies’ digitalisation process.

This paper proposes a new method for visual programming. Make full use of visual graph and visual studio, which are popular environment for visual interface development, the author developed some controls with some properties and events in visual graph, and then re-edit them in visual studio as the basic controls. With these basic controls people can do their visual programming without inputting work of text codes. Even a common developer can gain the software what they need by using some graphical component like building blocks. This may greatly improve development efficiency and avoid code rewriting greatly.

Abstract:
<p class="1"><span lang="X-NONE">Code-switching is an observed common discourse linguistic behaviour in Zimbabwean popular dramas. The motives and effects of the use of code-switching in such communicative contexts is however an understudied area. This article examines the communicative impact/effects on the audience, of code-switching as a communication strategy in <em>Studio 263</em>, one of Zimbabwe’s popular dramas (soap operas). Observing that code-switching has become part and parcel of Zimbabwean everyday discourses – a situation chiefly resulting from the Zimbabwean linguistic situation characterised by bi/multilingual societies – the analysis explores the rhetorical and communicative potential of code-switching as a communication strategy within the communicative contexts that popular dramas represent and in a bi/multilingual society. The Zimbabwean language situation promotes the use of the English language in all formal communicative events while the ‘indigenous’ languages (Shona and Ndebele) do not enjoy similar privileges. Because English is a second language to the majority of the residents of Zimbabweans, this has resulted in the proliferation of bi/multilingual communities. This article critiques the justification of the use of code-switching in <em>Studio 263</em> as well as its use as a tool for communicating to a ‘larger’ audience.</span></p>

Abstract:
Parole chiave: Catalano, Napoletano, Sociolinguistica, Corte aragonese, Bilinguismo, Code switchingAbstract: This article is devoted to the phenomenon of code switching, related to a sociohistorical perspective. Particularly, we focuse on five bilingual documents of the Codice Aragonese, a codex from the chancellery of the Aragonese Crown at Naples in the 15th century. We analyze the historical and social context in which the letters have been written, in order to outline the motivation to change the linguistic code, this is, from the Catalan or Castilian language to the Neapolitan one, or vice versa. At the same time, we like to demonstrate the tendency of writing in Catalan in emotional situations or under strong political tension, but also in familiary contexts to create proximity and intimacy. Keywords: Catalan, Neapolitan, sociolinguistics, Catalan-Aragonese Crown, Bilingualism, Code switching

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to propose a translation library capable of generating robots proprietary code after their offline programming has been performed in a software application, named AdaptPack Studio, running over a robot simulation and offline programming software package. Design/methodology/approach The translation library, named AdaptPack Studio Translator, is capable to generate proprietary code for the Asea Brown Boveri, FANUC, Keller und Knappich Augsburg and Yaskawa Motoman robot brands, after their offline programming has been performed in the AdaptPack Studio application. Findings Simulation and real tests were performed showing an improvement in the creation, operation, modularity and flexibility of new robotic palletizing systems. In particular, it was verified that the time needed to perform these tasks significantly decreased. Practical implications The design and setup of robotics palletizing systems are facilitated by an intuitive offline programming system and by a simple export command to the real robot, independent of its brand. In this way, industrial solutions can be developed faster, in this way, making companies more competitive. Originality/value The effort to build a robotic palletizing system is reduced by an intuitive offline programming system (AdaptPack Studio) and the capability to export command to the real robot using the AdaptPack Studio Translator. As a result, companies have an increase in competitiveness with a fast design framework. Furthermore, and to the best of the author’s knowledge, there is also no scientific publication formalizing and describing how to build the translators for industrial robot simulation and offline programming software packages, being this a pioneer publication in this area.

ABSTRACT Developing a domain specific language (DSL) to express business policies requires modeling tools for eliciting, applying, and maintaining the knowledge of business experts. This study defines a DSL meta-model and prototype to create visual business models that conform to the Resource, Event, Agent-Enterprise Ontology (REA-EO). The meta-model specifies REA-EO modeling components, and the prototype provides a visual interface to design operational and policy-level models. Code-generation templates then transform design models into executable code that supports business applications. The study describes the capabilities of the prototype and validates its use in the context of a business case. Data Availability: The paper's software modeling prototype and its companion code-generation templates are available for research purposes as open-source Visual Studio extensions and are available by contacting the author.

OBJECTIVES/GOALS: Introduce students to programming and software development practices in the life sciences by analyzing standard clinical diagnostic bloodwork for differential immune responses. Including lectures and a semester project with the goal of enhancing undergraduate students’ education to prepare them for careers in translational science. METHODS/STUDY POPULATION: The educational content was taught for the first time as a component of the newly developed course BTEC 330 “Software Applications in the Life Sciences” in UMBC’s Translational Life Science Technology (TLST) Bachelor’s degree program at the Universities at Shady Grove campus. Eleven students took the course. All were beginners with no programming background. Lectures provided background on the diagnostic components of the CBC, criteria for differential diagnosis in the clinical setting, and introduction to hematology and flow cytometry, forming underpinnings for interpretation of the CBC results. Weekly computer lab practical sessions provided training fundamentals of R programming language, the R-studio integrated development environment (IDE), and the GitHub.com open-source software development platform. RESULTS/ANTICIPATED RESULTS: The graded assignment consisted of a coding project in which students were each assigned an individual parameter from the CBC results. These include, for example, relative lymphocyte count or hemoglobin readouts. Students each created their own R-language script using R-studio, with functional code which: 1) Read in data from a file provided, 2) Performed statistical testing, 3) Read out statistical results as text, and charts as image files, 4) “Diagnosed” individuals in the dataset as being inside or outside the clinical normal range for that parameter. Each student also registered their own GitHub account and published their open-source code. Grading was performed on code functionality by downloading each student repository and running the code with the instructor as an outside developer using the resource. DISCUSSION/SIGNIFICANCE OF IMPACT: In this curriculum, students with no background in programming learned to code a basic R-language script and use GitHub to automate interpretation of CBC results. With advanced automation now becoming commonplace in translational science, such course content can provide introductory level of literacy in development of clinical informatics software.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVES/SPECIFIC AIMS: Community stakeholder engagement along the translational spectrum of biomedical research has been identified as a potentially crucial factor for encouraging participation among underrepresented groups, improving research relevance, and adoption of evidence into practice. Although we have developed various methods to improve communication between researchers and community stakeholders, we have not focused much attention on the manner by which community stakeholders choose to communicate with researchers in scientific feedback settings. In our PCORI funded study using Community Engagement Studios to elicit feedback on research from community stakeholders, we found that feedback from participants was frequently provided in the form of stories. This presentation aims to describe these narratives, examine their function in the feedback process and consider how a focus on these narratives enhances our understanding of community engagement for clinical and translational research. METHODS/STUDY POPULATION: The present study comes from a larger randomized, controlled methodological study. We randomized 20 investigators seeking input on their research to either a Community Engagement Studio (a panel of community members or patients) or a Translational Studio (a panel of researchers). Any faculty member or research trainee at Vanderbilt University or Meharry Medical College was eligible to participate. Each Studio panel was convened to provide project-specific input. The 153 stakeholders who participated in CE Studios were patients, caregivers, or patient advocates identified by health status, health condition, or demographic variables based on the project-based needs of the 20 researchers randomized in this project. Stakeholders include individuals with diabetes, heart failure, Parkinson’s disease, sickle cell disease, and ICU survivors. All stakeholders had experience as a partner or consultant on a research project or through serving on a research advisory board or committee. All Studios were recorded and transcribed, and experienced qualitative researchers analyzed the data. For this paper, we focus on the narrative feedback in the form of stories elicited in the CE Studios. Using qualitative methods, we coded the transcripts from the 20 CE Studios to identify stories and their functions in the feedback. Stories were defined as narratives with (a) at least one actor (b) action that unfolds over time, and (c) a realization, destination, or conflict resolution (i.e., a point of the story). For example, “I refilled my mother’s pillbox on Sunday and on Friday I found the pillbox still completely full” would be a story, however, “my mother doesn’t take her meds correctly” would not. We coded the stories for how they facilitated communication in the Studio using an open-coding style, that is we did not apply a specific theoretical framework of interaction or communication. It was possible for any given story to have more than one code applied to it; that is they were not classified in a mutually exclusive way. RESULTS/ANTICIPATED RESULTS: We found 5 major functions of stories in the Studios. Basic sender-receiver functions were noted, including responding to queries and seeking mutual understanding. The other functions served to move or add to the conversation, including adding expansion and depth, characterizing abstract concepts, and providing context, with the latter being the most frequent function of stories. Speakers provided context in a wide variety of dimensions, ranging from the context of the body to spatial and institutional contexts. These stories served to help others understand the speakers’ lived experiences. DISCUSSION/SIGNIFICANCE OF IMPACT: We often engage community members in research for their expertise with regards to their lived experiences as patients or community members, and for their experiences of healthcare and social determinants of health in particular community contexts. Yet we may expect them to share their expertise in a manner that is consistent with a scientific, explanatory framing and language. However, we know there is a difference in the way that professional researchers discuss research Versus how community members discuss research. In our PCORI study, we found that our Community Studio participants relied on storytelling as an important means to communicate their lived experiences. Their stories were often key to communicating the complex contexts of their experiences. We focus on examining these narrative practices and their functions in how community members engaged with and provided advice to researchers. This understanding may help us in: (1) Characterizing the contexts, processes, and meanings associated with community stakeholder experiences that are otherwise difficult to access. (2) Identifying community priorities relevant to research that are embedded in community narratives to better align research priorities with community needs and to improve patient outcomes. (3) Collecting insights for improving the design of community engagement activities in research. (4) Harnessing more fully the potential of community engagement in research.

Abstract:
Software maintenance is necessary for reasons such as changes in user needs, changes in the operating conditions of the system due to changes in the infrastructure, the occurrence of unforeseen errors. The suitability of the software for maintenance operations is a significant influence in reducing the cost. Using only basic object oriented programming concepts do not show that we are writing maintainable code in our applications. Object oriented design principles such SOLID are about reducing dependencies and increasing maintainability. ISO/IEC 9126 is about maintainability but ISO/IEC 9126 is not clear about whether all inputs to measurement should be used together in conjunction or whether they should be used as appropriate or available. Indeed, ISO/IEC 9126 provides no guidance, heuristics, rules of thumb, or any other means to show how to trade off measures, how to weight measures or even how to simply collate them. In this study each sub-characteristic of ISO/IEC maintainability with help of Visual Studio VS code metric tool is assessed. The focus of this assessment is on maintainability and its sub-characteristics like analyzability, testability, changeability and stability. Before doing an analysis, each sub-characteristics of maintainability part of ISO/IEC 9126 standard are mapped to five VS code metrics for measurement of characteristics. This work shows the effect of object oriented design principles SOLID to the maintainability, complexity and flexibility of the code while associating ISO/IEC, VS code metric and SOLID.

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to propose an automated framework for agile development and simulation of robotic palletizing cells. An automatic offline programming tool, for a variety of robot brands, is also introduced. Design/methodology/approach This framework, named AdaptPack Studio, offers a custom-built library to assemble virtual models of palletizing cells, quick connect these models by drag and drop, and perform offline programming of robots and factory equipment in short steps. Findings Simulation and real tests performed showed an improvement in the design, development and operation of robotic palletizing systems. The AdaptPack Studio software was tested and evaluated in a pure simulation case and in a real-world scenario. Results have shown to be concise and accurate, with minor model displacement inaccuracies because of differences between the virtual and real models. Research limitations/implications An intuitive drag and drop layout modeling accelerates the design and setup of robotic palletizing cells and automatic offline generation of robot programs. Furthermore, A* based algorithms generate collision-free trajectories, discretized both in the robot joints space and in the Cartesian space. As a consequence, industrial solutions are available for production in record time, increasing the competitiveness of companies using this tool. Originality/value The AdaptPack Studio framework includes, on a single package, the possibility to program, simulate and generate the robot code for four different brands of robots. Furthermore, the application is tailored for palletizing applications and specifically includes the components (Building Blocks) of a particular company, which allows a very fast development of new solutions. Furthermore, with the inclusion of the Trajectory Planner, it is possible to automatically develop robot trajectories without collisions.

Abstract:
In this paper, a new real-time approach for audio recognition of waterbird species in noisy environments, based on a Texas Instruments DSP, i.e. TMS320C6713 is proposed. For noise estimation in noisy water bird's sound, a tonal region detector (TRD) using a sigmoid function is introduced. This method offers flexibility since the slope and the mean of the sigmoid function can be adapted autonomously for a better trade-off between noise overvaluation and undervaluation. Then, the features Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients post processed by Spectral Subtraction (MFCC-SS) were extracted for classification using Support Vector Machine classifier. A development of the Simulink analysis models of classic MFCC and MFCC-SS is described. The audio recognition system is implemented in real time by loading the created models in DSP board, after being converted to target C code using Code Composer Studio. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed TRD-MFCC-SS feature is highly effective and performs satisfactorily compared to conventional MFCC feature, especially in complex environment.

Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi, E-Learning, Code Igniter, Model Waterfall Abstract: In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the current paradigm has changed the concept of learning not only in Indonesia, but even in the world. This was also made by SMK As-Syafiiyah 2 Cilangkap, East Jakarta. Learning activities have been carried out using conventional methods, namely face-to-face direct contact between students and teachers, the concept must be changed, namely using distance learning or being brave to anticipate the spread of the Covid-19 virus in accordance with government regulations in implementing social distancing and physical distancing. By building an electronic learning media or known as e-learning, it is hoped that it will become a learning media that is effective enough to be one of the solutions in carrying out learning in a bold or long distance in the middle of a time where the interaction between educators and students during the implementation of learning can be done outside class or school. Using the Waterfall model, Code Igniter Framework, PHP & MySql, Javascript and Visual Studio Code as a text editor, the development of an e-learning-based information system is expected to be an alternative solution that can help the learning process carried out by SMK As-Syafiiyah 2 Cilangkap East Jakarta for bridging the relationship between teachers and students in a count without having to meet face to face so that the implementation of learning runs optimally. Abstract:
The problem of switching and mixing codes is extremely relevant in foreign and domestic linguistic science over the past decades. In this case, if code-switching is understood by all researchers more or less equally (switching from one language to another within a single text – dialog or monologue), then by mixing the code (code-mixing), the case looks much more complicated. The term «mixing of codes» is understood by different researchers in fundamentally different ways: from the introduction into one language of the elements of another language in almost unlimited quantities and in the unadapted (phonetically and grammatically) form before switching codes within the same sentence, that is, the kind of switching codes (the second approach thus postulates the process of speaking in two languages and removes the fundamental difference between switching codes and mixing codes). The study of the mixing of speech codes is an interesting and promising branch of research on the theory of language contacts. Among the fundamental works on this subject should be the study of P. Muysken (Muysken, 2000), where he provides a detailed typology of situations of mixing language codes. In linguistic research, there is a widespread practice of using «mixing codes» and «switching codes» as interchangeable, as well as a series of studies where the term «mixing codes» is used to describe and switch codes and massive borrowings. While the term «switching codes» emphasizes the transition of bilingual from one grammatical system to another, the term «mixing codes» implies the presence of hybrid forms associated with both grammars. In other words, mixing codes emphasizes the formal aspects of linguistic structures or linguistic competence, while code switching emphasizes linguistic performance. The psycho-linguistic direction concerning the study of the switching of speech codes among the bilingual environment explains which aspects of the linguistic competence of bilinguals allow them to modify the codes. Often, the choice of a foreign language involves a waiver of the synonymous form in the language of the successor of the language, thus opposed to an alternative way of expressing communicative intentions in a foreign language. The purpose of our scientific studio is to present function the mixing and switching codes on the materials of the memoirs («Planet DP») and the epistolary works of Ukrainian writers-emigrants in Canada, in particular, by Ulas O. Samchuk with his colleagues, publishers, etc. The main methods of research used were: the method of comparative analysis, which allows to detect English-language infusions as units of English, which determine the national-cultural specificity of the English language; the method of component analysis, which allowed to reveal the semantic interrelations of British realities; descriptive method and method of content analysis. In the course of the study, we came to the conclusion that the addressee and addressees, real masters of the artistic word, almost do not allow the English language to be spoken in Ukrainian, or such spraying is deliberately used and is a means of language play.

Abstract:
Choosing the right way of programming can prevent learning difficulties, contribute to increasing students’ motivation to learn, and make teaching process more effective. The article is focused on assessing which way of programming, visual or textual, is appropriate for intermediate and advanced learners in the context of creating mobile applications. Three ways of programming were examined during an extracurricular programming course for teenagers aged 12-18 with previous programming experience and positive attitude to programming. The course was aimed at programming mobile applications. MIT App Inventor 2 as a visual programming tool and Android Studio with Java as a textual programming tool were chosen. Due to the gap between two programming tools, the method of transition from visual to textual programming using Java Bridge Code Generator and Java Bridge Library as mediators was implemented. The research results are based on the analysis of data obtained from participatory observations, interviews with students, questionnaires and source codes of applications created by students. The case study shows a difference in students’ performance between visual and textual programming in favour of visual programming. However, the difference in students' attitudes toward visual and textual programming was the opposite in favour of textual programming, regardless of age and learning performance. These results suggest that App Inventor visual programming environment is advantageous at the beginning of learning programming, but may be perceived as too limited and not enough motivating for intermediate and advanced students, even though programming in Android Studio professional text-based environment is too challenging for them.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT IMPACT: This study will showcase the importance if incorporating patient stakeholders in the development of an interview guide for a women of color with uterine fibroids, an understudied population. OBJECTIVES/GOALS: Black women and Hispanic/Latinas report having greater symptom burden from uterine fibroids (UF), non-cancerous neoplasms, compared to White women. These disparities may be linked to cultural factors resulting in treatment delays. The objective of this study is to provide insights to barriers and facilitators to timely treatment. METHODS/STUDY POPULATION: In partnership with the Fibroid Foundation, a UF advocacy organization, we plan to conduct a virtual community engagement (CE) studio to serve as a first step for a pilot study with a national cohort of Black women and Hispanic/Latinas who receive treatment in the United States for UF. The studios will include a presentation about UF treatment options and a facilitated discussion. The CE team will use past research and constructs from Model of Improvement and Health Belief Model to develop materials for the studio. A qualitative researcher will guide the discussion, a note-taker will take notes, and they will thematically code the notes. The results will be used to create and implement a cross-sectional in-depth qualitative study with a national sample. RESULTS/ANTICIPATED RESULTS: We hypothesize that timely treatment will be impacted by cultural factors, such as health literacy in uterine fibroids and menstruation. We expect that detailed feedback from this national cohort will contribute to greater insight to the experiences of women of color with UF and address barriers and facilitators to treatment. We anticipate the anecdotes will provide information about the influence of culture in seeking treatment for UF. We will utilize this experience to understand the impact of a virtual CE studio in elucidating open discussion among women of color on a challenging and personal topic. DISCUSSION/SIGNIFICANCE OF FINDINGS: Using CE process with advocates and research partners attains a deeper understanding in the development of an interview guide to examine the cultural impact on the treatment of UF for women of color. Understanding cultural barriers and facilitators can help overcome treatments delays in UF along with other gynecological diseases.

Abstract:
The direct slicing software of three-dimensional model which can be run in the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 environment is successfully developed. The method is the use of the secondary development tool Pro/TOOLKIT, which is used in Visual Studio 2008, using VC++ language to write the dynamic link library files which can run in the Pro/E environment. The software realizes not only the function that direct slicing on three-dimensional models, but also the generation of NC code file through the use of custom class on slice and the Standard Template Library which save the three-dimensional contour data of each slice.

Abstract:
Abstract This paper presents an analysis of issues related to the fixed-point implementation of a speech signal applied to biometric purposes. For preparing the system for automatic speaker identification and for experimental tests we have used the Matlab computing environment and the development software for Texas Instruments digital signal processors, namely the Code Composer Studio (CCS). The tested speech signals have been processed with the TMS320C5515 processor. The paper examines limitations associated with operation of the realized embedded system, demonstrates advantages and disadvantages of the technique of automatic software conversion from Matlab to the CCS and shows the impact of the fixed-point representation on the speech identification effectiveness.
