La tesi si occupa dello studio di affioramenti ofiolitici lungo la Valle del Sillaro (Castel S. Pietro Terme, BO) all’altezza della località Villa di Sassonero. Le rocce sono state campionate in sito per essere poi analizzate in laboratorio con diverse tecniche: osservazioni delle sezioni sottili e microanalisi al SEM (microscopio elettronico a scansione). Sono stati raccolti un totale di otto campioni. Da questi si sono ricavate sette sezioni sottili ed una sezione lucida. I reconstruct the major events that occurred in Coachella and argue that the valley's climate and diverse farm worker population contributed to a unique set of labor organizing experiences.
