Full textThis work takes its origin in my daily clinical practice of psychologist. It is trying to think about the notion of trace. The trace is a notion of multiple definitions that I will try to examine and get to work. It is question to think on contemporary where the human subject is tracked while psychoanalysis shows that he always escapes. This echoes the current common look, where the trauma is located or tracked as a trace or footprint. So what does it mean trace(s) ? Are we still able to pay attention to what the patient says ? In the name of science became scientism, why finding "traces" of the past or "traces" of trauma make a psychologist more a “researcher” or a “tracker”? Are we still able to speak of " traces of the subject" or is it now rather "trace-ability" ?

Abstract: This thesis is based on fantasy as Freud presented this concept in the dream about the wolves in the clinical case entitled The History of an Infantile Neurosis (1918[1914]). According to Freud, this dream was an "activation" of the scene of intercourse between the Wolf Man's parents. This "fundamental fantasy", this scene, that is never remembered and cannot be symbolized, is a "construction of analysis." Freud never backed down on the idea of non-symbolizable, but Lacan called it "real." Is transmission in psychoanalysis the effect of the non-symbolizable? The second chapter of the thesis discusses the fantasy as narrative and the phrase of the fantasy. The hero of all stories, unmistakably present in the fantasy as narrative, the "I" (or the "ego") is absent from the phrase of the fantasy of being beaten. The intermediate phrase, which is non-symbolizable - it is a construction of analysis - enables the "ego" to be reconstructed. The phrase is an instantaneous glance at the scene of the constitution of the unconscious and enables the existence of a grammar and a detachment from a grammatical logic of the fantasy. As it is a signifying articulation, as is the narrative, a phrase is considered a displacement by Freud in the question of the fantasy. The third chapter presents Lacan's advance. With the logic of the fantasy, the phrase as grammatical structure is considered for implosion. In the phrase of the fantasy of beating only object a remains: the gaze. Object a is seen as body, but not "total body": unspecularizable, object a is fall, something that comes loose from, or moves away from, the body it depends on. Castration makes it possible to define the function of object a in its status in logic. In subjectivation the subject occupies the place of object a. The logic of the fantasy includes object a in the logic of the signifier. The narrative of a case, on a form of transmission in psychoanalysis, is presented in Chapter Four. The last chapter, the passage from "the impossible is the real" to "the real is the impossible," considers that: whereas the Oedipus complex is founded on the interdicted - what cannot be symbolized, in Lacan's terms: 'the impossible is the real' - the formula "there is no sexual relationship," Lacan's axiom for castration - is founded on "the real is the impossible." As the effect of structure, "the real as the impossible" brings the hypothesis of this thesis into existence: the not-symbolizable, the interdicted represented by the Oedipus complex - "the impossible is the real" - founds the Freudian field and produces transmission in psychoanalysis

This dissertation intends to show that through the way that defines the concepts of subject and object a, Jacques Lacan summarizes what is most radical in the freudian operations of interpretation and construction, presenting an epistemology capable to formalize the operation of interpretation, to point their impasses, its limits, and to justify the need of the construction, also saying what is at stake in this. It points affinities between psychoanalysis and mathematics, and uses it resources, relying on the works of Frege, Badiou, and Russel Dedekin to define subject and object a, identifying the first with zero and identifying the second with both the excess that represent some operations in set theory, and also the irrational number. After, shows the insufficiency of the relationship of simple opposition that uses initially to link all these terms, to overcome it through a quaternary relationship – mutual implication and conjunction-disjunction – which, subverting the usual temporal and spatial references, is best suited for capture the nature of the analytical experience.

Full textThe thesis presented here, entitled \"The educational role in teacher tie and baby from the desire: scope and limits\" aims to investigate the place of desire in the meeting between teachers and infants, as well as monitor the effects of listening and intervention conducted by a psychoanalyst this meeting, focusing on the construction of an educational function. To monitor the effects of listening to the interventions of teachers and babies, we seek to identify Child Development Clinical Risk Indicators (Kupfer, et al, 2012) present or absent in the loop, which have become a reference for interventions. The development of the research was based on two assumptions. The first assumption refers to the participation of the nursery teacher in the psychic Baby constitution. We can vouch for the presentification of clinical indicators that there is inclusion of some teachers in the Other field for some babies. The point is that the teachers weave one subjectifying bond with some babies, keeping your present indicators. Ie the same teacher is snared differently with several babies who attends, looking like some become your favorite, and others, their unsuccessful. Teacher subjectivity of something seems to put the meeting with babies, determining often over their heads, these \"choices\" and its position in the speech. The second assumption refers to the possibility of turning the teacher\'s position in his meeting with babies through psychoanalytical listening and interventions to education, which can make the meetings with all babies - favorite or not - most fertile to establishment of the loop. Both assumptions have allowed the construction of the guiding question of this research as regards the place of desire in educational activities nursery teacher. You can make it in this teacher\'s bond with each baby and make it operator of an educational function with everyone? To answer our question, we built five chapters. At first, we made considerations about the place of the desire of institutional adult meeting and baby over time, in Brazil, from some documents and historical sources. The second chapter aimed to present some psychoanalytic concepts that provide theoretical basis for our question, such as the notion of desire and affection in psychoanalysis, narcissism and primary repression and the notion of ideal for me. In the third chapter we seek to build the notion of educational function of babies from the Borromean knot, which articulates the real records, Symbolic and Imaginary (Lacan, 1953/2005). The fourth chapter is a presentation of fundamental methodological concepts for psychoanalysis, as transfer and discursive spins and discusses teacher training possibilities from psychoanalysis. The fifth chapter presents vignettes of research, in which you can follow the interventions in the loop teachers and babies, as well as the construction of the educational function in the loop from these interventions

Arguing that the "sacrificial actions desacralized" are analogous to those that take place through the rituals, the author proposes that the sacrificial rituals as well as the renunciation form can be interpreted from the position of the subject in relation to the lack interente to the symbolic structure.

Full textParenting is a neologism that has been achieving consistency over the last years and that tends to replace the term family. It is possible to identify this concern in various authors, from different disciplines, extracting different consequences from the possible replacement of the term. Would there actually be such an aspiration in this new term and in its underlying speeches? Would such an aspiration be sustainable when one understands that, at the present times, the family experiences an unprecedented crisis? Would parenting implicate a risk for the familial transmission? Questioning such issues was the starting point from which I initiated this research. The initial unease was provoked by the understanding that the new term would be inseparable from the intervention of the specialist in the sphere of the family and by the mistrust that it would secure its basis in the lack of differentiation and asepsis in the familial transmission. The investigation of the origins of this neologism, of its underlying speeches and of the practices that it authorizes has enabled the identification of three streams through which it appears today: how to nominate the parent, as a means to handle the changes in the sphere of the family and shaped as a public speech conveyed by the family specialist. To evaluate each of these aspects individually, to recognize the consistency that the term parenting continues to achieve in current times as symptomatic of todays scenario, and to circumscribe the family in its function of residue - reduced to the minimum necessary conditions for existence of subject - was fundamental in order to establish the basis for the possible articulations among family, parenting and age. The roadmap that was accomplished allow us to state that the family as residue, grounded in the motherhood and fatherhood functions and in the manners by which father and mother are shaped as semblants, is side by side with the structure: needed, however dependent on what relates to contingency, that is, it is uncompleted by the features, positions and values that prevail in social speech in the social ties in a certain age, and by the singular position of the subjects implicated in each of these functions. Psychoanalysis, as it tilts between the universal and the homogeneous that are 11 driven by the speeches about parenting and the singularity that is inherent to the notion of family as residue, report the impossibility of covering the lack (condensed in the lacanian aphorism there is no sexual relationship). In such a way that FOR EVERY ONE inherent to the speeches about parenting, the role of psychoanalysis is to respond by resending each family to its singularity. Nevertheless, a deadlock is generated when parenting is presented necessarily annihilating the family in its condition of residue, implicating in risk for the children, for the sons of parenting. The encounter with the book The Day in which my father went silent, from Virginie Linhart - mainly the amazement in the face of the consistency of the statement the children from 68 -, has enabled this investigation to distance from generic or universalized manners of comprehension, to which the researched theme has proved to be particularly sensitive. It has also enabled a positioning in the face of the authors, who, grounded in the sphere of the family, foreshadow a dramatic future for the subject. Throughout this research I believe I have gathered the elements to question the validity of statements such as the sons of parenting, and one of the findings to which direction I was led by the amazement is that an age does not shape an us with the subjects that are part of them. As it exceeds the us in the singular jouissance from which each father and each mother provide their testimony in the transmission, the family is inclined to continue to generate leaks in the consistency and in the asepsis foreseen in the normative and orthopedic speeches about parenting.

Full textThe central theme of this thesis is the problematization of modes of circulation of the word in school. To this purpose, the research is theoretically based on the Freudian- Lacanian psychoanalysis, basically affirming that the word is the revelation of the subject, the means par excellence for his recognition. The questions that the subject asks himself and, at the same time, addresses to the Other: "Who am I? What do I want? What makes me function?" are connected to the question "What does the Other want from me?", for the subject deposits his truth in the Other and constitutes it a place of supposed knowledge about himself, a knowledge unknown to ourselves. This question addressed to the Other exposes an enigma and a lack, as it refers to incompleteness, including that in the Other. While it is the Other that yields the symbolic function and supports the subject, offering a foundation for his speeches and a nomination, it is also this lack in the Other that opens the possibility of a certain liberty of the subject, in a perpetual shifting among signifiers with no guarantees and always in search for his being in the Other’s desire - and lack, in an impossibility of encounter and also in a permanence of movement. With this theoretical base, this research investigated how the spaces and experiences in school are configured, regarding the circulation of the word and the assumption of the word, in order to promote the advent of the subject and the construction of a collective experience. We presuppose that the school is a fundamental social space in which different forms created by the contemporary social discourse circulate. Our questions also refer to the ways the existing discourses circulate, in this specific space. The data were collected at the Colégio de Aplicação school of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in which I worked as school counselor for the early grades, in the years 2008 and 2009. In respect to data analysis, I focused my attention on what I experienced – what I saw or heard and the transference circuit created among the children, the teachers and me. For that, I utilize Freudian-Lacanian concepts, and I narrate stories that put the word “in movement”, in experience, in order to produce a possibility of reflection on the school practices and the role of the subject. Finally, I formulate new questionings, seeking to problematize both my certainties and different common sense statements regarding the child in the school situation. In addition to asserting truths and conclusions, I present other question marks, in the end. And, stemming from doubt, I suggest the intriguing path of constant movement in search of other opportunities to work with school-age children.

Full textThe aim of the present study is to discuss the relationship among psychologist, patient and institutional situation at the assistence of psychoanalytic approach carried out inside institutions heterogeneous to the psychoanalysis. Our investigation starts from the following questions: a) how the institutional dimension is learned by the subject and how this is reflected in the analytical situation; b) how the analytical situation inserts in a strange institutional context and which are the consequences of this insertion; c) what are the possible technical proceeds for the practice of the psychoanalyst in these conditions. We then discuss which are the clinical-theoretical conditions that one time permit, and other time not, the exercise of the psychoanalytical practice in the institutions. From texts of metapsychology we investigate which are the conditions of the transference in the institution and their unfoldings as much for the patient as for the therapist and what the influence of the institutional conditions in the incontinent dynamic established among therapist, patient and analytical situation. We discuss how the transference manifests inside the institutions, which are the resources that the psychoanalyst has to work with this transference dynamics, how we can metapsychologically differentiate the institutions from the organizations, how constitute and configure the unconscious dynamic among the subject and the social institutions, how the psychoanalysis also characterizes as an institution in these treatments. Finally, we proposed to do a essay, with the assistance of two clinical vignette, about how the conceptual investigation that we carried out could appear in singular cases of treatment in institutions, offering alternatives of comprehension for cases where in some way the institutional condition offered resistance for the process. We conclude that the work in the institutions demands disposition from the psychoanalyst to analyze his own condition of belonging to the institutions, as well as the comprehension that the transference scene isnt only in the treatment setting. As transference support, the institution also offers the singular possibility for the elaboration of the partial pulsation, in the measure where it can be depositary of a unit of power that surpasses the possibilities of the classical conditions of framing. In front of the limitations and alternatives, the identity of a psychoanalytic practice in the institutions configures as a possible however challenging performance to the psychoanalysts.

Full textFor Freud and Lacan psychosis is not a deficiency. Nowadays, Schreber’s text still remains an unequalled paradigmatic treatise. For Freud, paranoid delirium is an attempt at recovery, and for Lacan it is an attempt to analyze severe logic. The thorny question of psychotic transference still remains. Freud does not believe that a psychotic patient is capable of analytical transference. Lacan thinks that at the beginning, the transference is likely to provoke a trigged of, furthermore the psychotic has the object a in his pocket. Freud continued seeing psychotic patients even though he dissuaded his students from doing so. Lacan, who psychosis before psychoanalysis, suggests that the analyst should not draw back in the face of psychosis. Can the psychotic subject, which stays out of every social bond established, be received by analytical speech? This is what we examine throughout the thesis. If the subject is not cured of his psychosis, can he invent substitutes within the treatment in order to deal with it? Thus, there is no general solution but rather a contingency approach which can betaken. There is no guarantee but there might be the analyst’s desire…

Abstract: Over the last decades nursing care in the field of Mental Health has been through several changes. A community mental health care network has been organized in the light of a so called Psychosocial Mode. It created favourable conditions for the birth and dissemination of nursing practices oriented by the clinic of the subject, an overarching approach strongly influenced by psychoanalytical perspectives. Some developments in that approach have been focusing issues pertinent to the articulation of nursing care from the Lacanian's clinic of the subject, but there are gaps regarding to the nuances of these practices addressed to psychotic subjects and how they are structured within this approach. The presupposition that supports this study is that the integration of the conceptualizations of the clinic of the subject grounded in psychoanalytical theory into the psychiatric or mental health nursing care may be fostered ressignifications of the traditional ways of conceptualizing such practice and displacements in the manner of practicing it. And, as a result, it may be produced the construction of a distinct knowledge and practices embodied in what has been called new dispositives. The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the conceptualizations of nursing care, articulated as principles and dispositives of caring, which are embedded in the clinical practices developed by mental health nurses who align themselves with the construction of a clinic of the subject psychoanalytically oriented. This is a qualitative research in which the Narrative Research was combined with Etnography Research and has the Lacanian Psychoanalysis as theoretical framework. The lack of recent studies that synthesize the conceptualizations of nursing care and its nature within the psychiatric and mental health care areas since the beginning of the Brazilian Health Care Reform arose the need for a Systematic Qualitative Research. The results of this review showed that the conceptualizations of caring have been organized according two different categories here designated as (1) The other side caring and (2) 'Nightingalean Inspirations', which is subdivided in Therapeutic Interpersonal Relationship and Psychosocial Mode. The subjects of research were 19 Brazilian nurses, whose narratives detailed shows the conceptualizations of caring which guide their work. The narratives were analyzed in the light of the theoretical framework of Psychoanalysis, and specifically inspired in the notion of a Clinic Practiced among many therapists, and its implications for the work with psychotic patients in institutions departing from Freud's and Lacan's formulations. In the analyses of the narratives, a dialogue with the epistemological discussion inaugurated by Barbara Carper and reviewed by Patricia Munhall was also articulated. It produced the following arguments: (1) The 'Emptied care'(N5): Speeches and knowledge (knowing and not-knowing) that make nursing care. A care is Emptied, when comes from an empty position prior knowledge, i.e. without mastery. Emptied Care uses its position of not knowing, and rejects the illusion that, in time, it would be possible to come to know with the right questions or even with some kind of connection. (2) The nursing care in psychosis: the foresight of beauty or care and its finesse. The daily life of dealing with the body and its odors, excretions, secretions, caring reveals a reality from where beauty can work as a possible foresight. Therefore, a care that is grounded in the knowledge of the subtleties, of finesse things, might, by calling something from the imaginary memory and from the symbolic order, limit the reality which in psychosis earns, for sure, a statute of reality, of concreteness and of assurance. (3) "Not like everyone else": the one that marks an ethical position. A care that turns to the subject, its unique way of dealing with his suffering, relies on liability and the inclusion of the subject as nodal points. Thus, nurses can manage to do it from an ethical position, exempting themselves of taking the place of someone who has all the solutions. (4) A caring that affects: about words, acts and attitudes. As a subject, dealing with his unconscious, it is essential that the professional get inspire by a position of object that implies not presenting himself as someone longing, or someone who knows what is best for the other and thus offers to care. So it is the unknowing, as a discursive position, that calls for the professional responsibility rather than his absent. The analysis revealed what the narrators weren't presented novelties about dispositives of the care , but they referred to the actions of care established that won new readings and, accordingly, have opened new perspectives when backed up by deriving concepts Lacanian Psychoanalysis theory. The nursing care within the clinic practiced among many therapists finds the ideal conditions to constitute itself as such, at the same time that includes a practice concerning the body, its humours and odours, without prescinding from matters of finesse. These matters and their resulting issues are essential within a nursing care which is oriented by the clinic of the subject not only because it introduces new concepts and perspectives, but also for bringing forth the idea that in between the dialectic of care of the body and care that is directed through the words there may be some displacement, some a dialectic between this care what is done in body and that this care is guided by the word

Full textIn this study we investigated enunciation within the rite of a court hearing under the perspective of the theories of Discourse Analysis (PÊCHEUX, 1988), Literacy (TFOUNI, 1992, 2005) and Psychoanalysis (LACAN, 1949) keeping in mind that enunciation is a place where the subject is constituted and that a subject is conceived as effects of meaning between interlocutors within a socio-historical context. The ritual in the discursive practices of the Laws discourse allows us to consider as different the concepts of laws subject and juridical subject. While the first is related to cohesion and to a single meaning, the second is linked to what Pêcheux (1988) calls \"speaking intersubjectivity\" and appears as an effect of language, both divided and opaque. We can observe the disruption of the laws subject cohesive image within the ritual of the judicial court session -characterized by a superposition of speeches - when the grammar of Laws discourse works outside its logical process, out-of-a kind of fetishism that surrounds the mode of operation of ideology and the unconscious. When we move away from this practice, we found that, under the image of the laws subject, inside the discursive functioning, there is the image of the juridical subject, steeped in subjectivity and marginalized by the discourse of Law. Although interpellation by ideology masks the material character of meaning by imposing transparency to it, Pêcheux brings a warning about the possibility of resistance and revolt within the process of subjection. This event, under the perspective of psychoanalysis (LACAN, 1972-1973), which conceives the subject as divided and non-centered, allows for understanding the discourse subject under the dimension of the effect of the signifier, and it leads us to the conclusion that subjectivity is a place that plays a dual role: that of disclosing subjection and that of disclosing its subversion, thus breaking the vicious circle of idealism and interrupting the tragic fate of the subject that is captured by ideological interpellation. We can observe the discursive practices of the Law under the perspective of the Lacans (1949) optical schema to study the constitution of the image of laws subject superimposed to the image of the deponent subject that enunciates during the rite of an audience, while the first one compels the construction of a unique sense of the speech. If we consider that the State plays the role of the mirror in the optical schema to give a cohesive image of the body described by the Discourse of the Law, this image breaks with the emergency of a split subject, due to failures and lapses, constituted outside the legal logic. If under one perspective the Discourse of the Law describes the body, under another perspective we may assert that the displacement of the rigid structure of the syllogism characterizes a resistance to the dominant ideological formation of this discourse, as something that brings up what was repressed, making the law a trace without a body.

Full textNowadays we come across a large number of women that presented mental disorders after the birth of their babies, during the puerperium period. This is a situation that can produce important consequences, such as impairment of the babys development originating from an impaired mother-baby relationship, as the constitution of the subject has its first experiences with its first object, the maternal figure. This study aims to comprehend the motherhood formation process within its collaboration with the constitution of subject and of femininity in women that presented mental disorders in puerperium, besides the issues that might have contributed toward the triggering of these disorders. It consists of a clinical survey, in which the psychoanalytical method was used for analysis of the material, obtained by means of psychotherapy sessions with two women attended with this condition for almost two years in a Basic Healthcare Unit. The clinical material analysis showed intense ambivalence in these patients relationship with their mothers, marked by feelings of love and hate, whereas in the psychic reality of the patients, there is great hostility felt by the mother. There is maternal intrusion in the form of excess, understood as a form of violence produced by maternal discourse, which we comprehend based on the conceptions of Piera Aulagnier. Within this relationship characterized by ambivalence and particularly by violence, which have left profound marks on the patients psyche, there was weak constitution of subject and of femininity, which ended up provoking the triggering of the mental disorders concerning the birth of their children, the formation of their motherhoods, a time when there is greater identification with the maternal figure. We worked on the issue of matricide as a separation from the mother in psychic life, a conception brought by Danièle Brun, which we can also understand as a splitting of the maternal body, a necessary process for the daughter to be able to acquire autonomy in relation to the mother and to move toward her femininity, toward being a woman, an adult, a mother. Masochism was also found in the patients and we comprehend this masochism as that elaborated by Claude Le Guen, as a defense of the girl against this ambivalence that she encounters in her relationships with the maternal object, a means of preserving the object, focusing the aggressiveness on herself, at the same time as she receives a greater objectal investment, by appearing more docile. We consider that for the women from this study the psychotherapeutic process was able to provide the opportunity for issues that could not even be thought about, such as violence and maternal intrusion, the will to commit matricide or infanticide, to be elaborated and included in a network of psychic representations, providing meanings and helping the patients understand the process that they were experiencing, with the ability to work on these issues, prepare the experience of motherhood and everything that it involved

Full textThis dissertation intends to research the psychoanalysis contribution to the elderly involved in violence situations, based on my experience as a psychologist in a Juridical Institution. Having concluded that in the majority of cases researched this violence occurs due to a familiar conflict, we could notice that the elderly besides taking part in such conflict, also maintain this situation. Therefore this paper points out the great importance of making them aware of their subjective position, as well as realize that the solution to their problem should necessarily be related to an awareness of their act and a search through their personal stories and relationship with the relative claimed as the aggressor. Based on the concept of the subject of the unconscious, this dissertation supports the idea that the subject of the unconscious does not grow old. In other words, its possible to bet that a subjective rectification may be possible at the old age as well. According to this objective, we will shed light on the concept of the subjects responsibility for their jouissance and wish, which is different from the juridical responsibility.

Psychiatric urgency, with a predominance of the medical discourse, shows a tendency of responding to crises by adopting previously defined quick-action medical conducts, such as medication, immobilization and hospitalization. The purpose of the present dissertation is to present the contributions offered by psychoanalysis to this clinical field, so as to favor the urgency of the subject in the event of a crisis. From this perspective, we have worked on a few fundamental clinical concepts for the study of the proposed theme, such as the psychoanalysis subject, anguish, symptom, passage to act, acting out, among others. All these permeate such a specific clinic and may contribute for the understanding that urgency care shall not exclusively aim at the elimination of the crisis. After all, considering subjective urgency is to assume a direction in which the crisis may be an important moment, as the subject may hold a new position and take the responsibility for what is going on.

The theme of this doctoral thesis in psychology is the clinic of the subject in the psychoanalytic treatment at the outpatient care section of the Hospital Juliano Moreira (HJM), in the city of Salvador, Bahia. The main issue of the work is related to the requirements to carry out, in the outpatient care section of that hospital, a clinic of the subject relied on psychoanalysis. The development of this theme is done from the study of three cases treated by me in that hospital, cases that are addressed having the diagnosis as a central issue. This choice was made due to the fact that, in all cases, the doubt of facing a neurosis or a psychosis was present at some stages of treatment, and the way this issue is addressed in psychoanalysis shows the clinic of the subject. This clinic is characterized by the listening to the patient’s word, through which the subject may come. Distinguished from psychiatric interview, in which diagnosis and treatment are done at different times, the construction of diagnostic in psychoanalysis takes place in the treatment itself, in which the particular of the diagnostic reference is linked to what is related to the subject of the unconscious. The interest on this theme was drawn upon my trajectory as a psychologist in that unit for twelve years, and the research appears to be a continuity of the studies on the theme of the subject in psychoanalysis that took place at the Masters held at Universidade de Brasília. Its relevance lies in the possibility to produce reflections that can become useful not only to professionals who base their practice in psychoanalysis, but also to those involved with the mental health field, since the interest in the topic of the subject has been refreshed as a consequence of the changes due to the Psychiatric Reform, and the growth of practices of care and guardianship. The research problem is described in the form of the question: What are the specifics to build and sustain, based on psychoanalysis, a clinic of the subject in the outpatient care section of the Hospital Juliano Moreira?. The main objective is to examine the work carried out in the outpatient care section, through the analysis of three cases, trying to characterize, with psychoanalysis, the clinic of the subject, and taking the construction of diagnostic as the axis of analysis. For that, I present a brief description of the history of madness and of psychiatry in Brazil, and contextualize the HJM; I specify the psychoanalytic conception of the subject, and analyze different discourses and practices that cross the hospital (care and assistance, psychiatric, psychosocial attention, psychoanalytical); I dedicate my attention to Freud’s and Lacan’s metapsychology of psychosis; and work on the three cases, showing how the making of diagnostic in psychoanalysis is done, and therefore the clinic of subject. The method adopted is the psychoanalytic case study, and psychoanalytic theory is the fundamental theoretical framework. The study is grounded on the work of Freud and Lacan, and on the legacy of their followers.

Full textThis study aims to essay a possible relationship between French Discourse Analysis (DA) and Psychoanalysis (Freud and Lacan). In order to carry out this purpose, we shall attempt to understand the notion of silence by means of concepts from both theories. From Discourse Analysis, we shall use concepts such as ideology, discursive formations, paraphrase, polysemy, subject-position and the oblivions enunciated by Pêcheux. From Psychoanalysis, we shall use concepts such as the faulty achievement (Fehlleistung), subject, Other, the Borromean knot and the unconscious. In this manner, we approach the field of meaning and of non-sense, allowing for an understanding of how the dialectic between subject and language is operated through silence, a silence which illustrates the aspect of the impossible in this relationship. In order to elucidate this theme, we present as corpus the text \"Forgetting of Proper Names\", published by Freud in three different versions: an article published in a newspaper of the time, the chapter of The Psychopathology of Everyday Life, and two letters on this topic written to Fliess. We shall observe how these three versions interrelate and legitimize the constitution of the subject-positions of Freud, as well as the appearance of the subject of the unconscious in the signifier chain. This occurs, we shall verify, due to this aspect of silence in language, which refers to a double impossibility: both in face of the said and in face of the Real. This will refer us to the incompleteness of language and the opacity of meaning, which can be glimpsed through extracts of Freud\'s text that indicate the authors paraphrasial movements. Thus, from the linguistic-discursive clues found within the text, it is possible to grasp concepts key to both theories, which refer to subjective constitution in the present day. (FAPESP)

Full textThe main objective of the research is to discuss about the possibility of insertion of psychoanalysis in the work in the educational field, specifically in public schools in Rio de Janeiro. This study was instigated by the experience in public schools, which led to several questions about psychoanalytic praxis in school, and political, economic, social and ethical matters related to educational institutions that are beyond the psychoanalytic field. It begins with the history of public education in Brazil, especially during the period of First Republic, bringing into discussion some educational movements, as New School and libertarian pedagogies. Moreover, it focuses the role of psychology in education within this same period. From that point, the aim was to make a distinction between psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, indicating the theoretical, clinical and ethical specificity of psychoanalysis that make evident the discursive revolution operated by Sigmund Freud. Finally, it highlights the matter of the subject in the school that can be explored by a diversity of psychoanalytic dispositive, and it is essential to consider the role of transference. To summarize, institutional work is linked with clinic as it does involves listening and talking.

Abstract: A question comes to the analyst's mind in her clinical work when she hears a word spring out of the patient's speech. A single word has the power to veil or unveil the subject that is there facing a question and without being able to do anything about it. The construction of knowledge regarding the status of the word in the structuring of the subject, including her conception, birth and subjective constitution, is related to her condition as a speaking being. The strength and effectiveness of the word in transmitting cultural tradition from one generation to the next allows something to be said about the subject, her history and the truth of her origins. The laws that govern her thoughts and affects are subordinated to the words that have spoken this subject ever since she was in her parents' unconscious desire. This constituted knowledge enables the analyst to listen in the transference in analysis. Studies in linguistics and psychoanalysis have provided a perspective for studying the word, but not outside its manner of functioning. In other words, words operate on the basis of a language, namely the mother tongue, and through speech that can only come to be in the field of language. This perception means that the power of the word is not in what it communicates through its statements, but through the signifying effect in the subject by stating it. The fact that no subject exists outside the field of language establishes the bond and determines the status of the word that operates in the structuring word. The theoretical history on which this study is based allows for three important considerations. First, even if a word is spoken in the mother tongue in the exercise of speech in the field of language, and has the intention to convey the idea of a truth, it nevertheless always depends on chance. Secondly, we can never foresee the effect a word will have. Finally, the only possibility is to evaluate its effects post-factum

Full textThe field of literature is the field of mimesis. So that it occurs, an object suitable for depiction, a subject that performs it and a language that makes it viable as well as a reader to receive it are imperative. The object to be re-created can be real or virtual and the means for its re-creation is the word. Words aimed at reaching beyond the threshold of real. Throughout the times several forms of representation were created varying, in different ways, the diverse narrative instances. This variation has been attached to the concept of subject and the language usage possibilities that gained momentum at certain periods of art and literature. Clarice Lispector fits in this stream of history and tradition. The conspicuous rational individual subject, the \"author\" that begins to be outlined in the transition to modernity had, generally speaking, a transparent language as a tool in order to reveal the landscape that unfolded before his eyes. These poles have become more complex through the centuries notwithstanding. The subject showed himself decentralized and fragmented, unknown to his own self. Who narrates? Words had become suspicious. Putting it in words is to annihilate the object? Would it be better to gag what cannot be said? The object showed its opacity and oddness. What would be fitting for depiction? These are the questions highlighted in this work that animate Clarices oeuvre, notably in her last novels: The stream of life [Água viva], The hour of the star [A hora da estrela] and A breath of life [Um sopro de vida]. The very format of contemporary novel goes parallel and feeds itself on these queries. The structurally classical novel that envisaged rendering the subjective universe of the individual hero that is born with modernity was shaken in its rock-steady foundations. A composing manner, which not only continuously intertwines character and narrator and author but also makes use of silence as a vanishing point for the narrative framework as a vortex that seems to drag the writings own movement, becomes more acute. The fictional pact alters itself, the silence and word play brings itself to light central points in the novels analyzed that will be focused through the literature/psychoanalysis interface.

Full textSince the subject of mental patient presentation, this study intend to ponder about the relationship between subjectivity, psychical suffering and the knowledge built over them. To rescue the history of such clinical device allowed the conception of an important interlocution to the epistemic basement of the two most important areas of knowledge about psychopathologies: psychiatry and psychoanalysis. The necessity of been reflecting about the polemic question that is the patient exposition to an audience, it means, to place it as an object at a show, have allowed the construction of a specific point of view which is fundamental to make possible to reflect about the approach and the severances between these two areas of the knowledge, as so the consequence originating of them. The discussion about the image place and function as regard the relationship between the human been and the language have shown to be in the inn of this question. In this context, the intention is to emphasize the difference that Freud make possible when he derived from Cogito ergo sum to Wo es war soll ich warden. Such movement is what makes possible the ransom of the subject of the unconscious. That is in such direction that Lacan accomplish his patient presentations and makes of this activity the place to reprint Freudian work. In that sense the psychoanalytical patient presentation turns possible the cure direction setting and psychoanalysis transmission.

Full textThis thesis proposes an investigation on the constitution of subjects in psychoanalysis through discourses of truth. Based on the studies developed by Michel Foucault, we define two methodological orientations for our research: (1) the first one consists in analyzing how the discourses of truth of a historical period determine modalities of being for the subjects; (2) and the second aims to examine how the subject is constituted by the discourses of truth that he tells about himself. Our hypothesis is that the different modalities of relationship between subject and truth have a historical formation and that it is necessary to analyze its genealogy in order to understand how the practice of truth-telling about oneself in psychoanalysis implies a certain constitution of the subjects. In the first part, we consider how some discourses and practices involving power relations in modernity have formulated truths about the subject: the development of an anthropology with the formation of the human sciences; the production of a science of the subject from a history of sexuality. In the second part, we orient our research towards a history of the relationship between subject and truth, considering the problematic of the government. Based on Foucault’s studies on the tragedy Oedipus the King by Sophocles, we identify a significant link between practices of truth in Antiquity and forms of subjectivity; for the establishment of justice, the truth needed to be said by an “I”. But if the first person who tells the truth in Oedipus is different from the first person who tells the truth in the first centuries of Christianity, it would be necessary to define from what techniques and practices of truth Christianity has promoted a rupture in the history of subjectivity between the ways of being subject in Antiquity and those that constitute a genealogy of the modern subject. Following Foucault’s hypothesis, we see in this rupture the establishment of a hermeneutics of the self. In the third part, we discuss the requirement to formulate statements of truth in the history of psychiatry and its consequences for the constitution of psychoanalysis. Truth-telling about oneself in psychoanalysis must consider the elaboration of a theory of the subject that, contesting the anthropological thought, participates in a science of sexuality. Truth-telling about oneself in psychoanalysis relocates the problem of the relationship between subject and truth into the hermeneutics of the self, and this insofar as the psychoanalytic subject is constituted by a close relationship with the truth that necessarily passes through language, the experience of finitude and the other. Finally, we present an alternative to this model of subjectivity through the characterization of the practice of parrhêsia in Antiquity, which encompasses an aesthetic of existence related to an ethics and a politics of the self

Full textThe events that disturb the relationship of a child with writing are not exclusively limited to the linguistic, cognitive and pedagogical processes implied in the acquisition of this skill. This study aimed at problematizing the supposedly scientific concepts that frame the problems of children´s writing, such as dyslexia. Clinical psychoanalytical data show that there is an articulation between this phenomenon and the subject that is being written about. This study made its way using Lacanian-oriented psychoanalysis, through its theory and its clinic, to discuss the statute of this phenomenon that can be seen in the writing of a child. The idea of subject that permits this reading is not that of an epistemological subject, the one that knows. It is the one formulated by psychoanalysis: the subject as an answer of the real, it is no longer the exclusive product of symbolic functioning, this is how the subject - effect (and not cause) of the meaningful game, and situated outside the chain that sustains the symbolic functioning was considered in this study. Also studied were the conceptual constructions of symptom and writing in psychoanalysis. This path presented the articulation of satisfaction from the production of writing and it was necessary to explain the relationship between meaning and letter, notions that in psychoanalysis are not to be confused with the letter of the alphabet, the character, nor even with the writing referring to the production of the text, but which precisely because they are not to be confused, are important to deciding on the approach to be used in writing, which includes the subject as an element of the discussion. If the detachment of meaning shows the jouissance in writing, the clinical phenomena that are present are also woven as the dynamic of jouissance and, therefore, in relation to the frugality of jouissance of the falasser. To broach the writing of the child in times of acquisition it is necessary to clearly understand that this is not a representation of speech, but rather that between them, the articulation is moebian. There is jouissance in writing, what the satisfaction engenders there, and also what engenders it there will be answered by the clinic. It will be necessary to treat what remains. It is in this sense that the impasses to which a person submits himself and which disturb his writing are material for the psychoanalyst.

Full textThe present study originated in the Mulri-Center Reaserch on Clinical Risk Indicators for Child Development, which validated the pediatric use of a tool named Clincal Risk Indicators for Child Development (CRICD) Indicadores Clínicos de Risco para o Desenvolvimento Infantil (IRDI), based on the psychoanalytical theory. Besides the results directly related to the validation of risk indicators, CRICD Research provided empirical evidence of some important psychoanalytic theoretical formulations and incited methodological discussions by proposing a combination of the experimental and clinical methods. The present study aims at two relevant goals: to widen CRICDs theoretical basis and to propose a methodological discussion. And had also two specific objectives: a) explore in greater detail results obtained from a specific sample group of 130 children which are related to the theoretical axis called Paternal Function; b) unveiling the psychopathology of early infancy. To accomplish the expansion theory, the study examined the theoretical fundamentals of each one of the 31 indicators proposed by the CRICD Research. The methodological discussion contained in this study was guided by the following question, which in turn oriented our research: does the use of experimental methodology undermine the psychoanalytical basis of CRICD Research? Regarding the specific sample of 130 childrens. The present study also explores in greater detail results obtained from a specific sample group of 130 children. Clinical findings show the emergence of two significant symptomalogies in three-year old children: aggressiveness and the lack of a plot when playing, which are understood as the effects of a fragile performance of the paternal function. By means of a methodological discussion, we conclude that the conceptualization and fundamentals of this study are indeed psychoanalytical and the methodology employed allowed for an interdisciplinary convergence (Hans) and interactions of psychoanalysis (Mijolla-Mellor) with other disciplines. It intends to show that the use of different methods is not conflictive with psychoanalytical semiology. Psychoanalysis is neither a unique research modality, nor is its methodological reference unique. Such constitutive diversity and heterogeneity allow for psychoanalysis to interact with other disciplines and to progress by means of diverse and heterogenic sources, as Mijolla proposes.

Full textThe individual is broached, and even defined, by theories underpinned by world-building philosophical assumptions: he is theorized. A more or less specific view of this individual is proposed by each theorization. He can be considered alone, individually, or in relation to others, collectively. Psychoanalysis tends to be oriented towards the subjectivity of individuality, producing its Subject. The Law tends to be oriented towards the objectivity of the community, producing its subject. For the individual, being caught in theses theoretical structures is inevitably ensnaring. We will focus on the term of jouissance, Lacanian field for psychoanalysis, and prerogative of property for the Law. Treading the Lacanian grounds, jouissance is impossibility, while she is possibility wherein the juridical precinct; most certainly unfruitful for the Subject, but especially fruitful for the subject; very abstruse, she is unruly and abusive for Lacan, uncannily; very practical, she is obedient and conditioned in the french Civil Code, for financial profitability. In a paradoxical effort to fixate on dissimilar, although essentially philosophically decreed, jouissances, the Lacanian field superimposes itself onto the juridical property prerogatives. Thus, the turbulences of the psychopathology of everyday postmodernity are enlightened, the attitude of psychoanalysis vis-à-vis its Subject reveals itself, the absolute relativity at the outset of the individual when liable to a theory is recalled. This being brought before the finding of an abuse, radically apart from juridical property, to place more towards psychoanalysis than to lay upon the shoulders of its guilty Subject, affected by discontent in jouissance

Abstract: In this political economy study, we aim to present a way of conceiving the economic subject through the psychoanalytic approach of Jacques Lacan. By such means, we seek to comprehend the characters which contemplate the subjectivity of the human and the complex relation of composition between the subject and the society. For that purpose, far beyond of an interdisciplinary approximation, we equip ourselves of the severe analytical implications which are set up from the Lacan¿s declaration on the existence of a structural homology between the Marxian concept of surplus value and his concept of plus-the-jouissance. We demonstrated, then, how to establish this homology and how it provides an analysis of the economic subjects in the capitalism. Finally, we undertook an assessment of the contemporary economic subjects in their consumer actions, in view of the mass production society settlement

Full textWith several studies trying to understand which are the changes in contemporary subjectivities, we try to define what are saying the authors that advocate a new subjectivity in today\'s times. Starting from a brief literature review on the subject, we then selected a book from each of these three authors (Joel Birman, Nahman Armony and Jean-Pierre Lebrun) and carefully analyzed them seeking to delimit, in his speeches, which places were set for this subjectivity, culture, family, psychoanalyst and so on. This analytical work was carried out according to Institutional Discourse Analysis (IDA) which allowed us to work the texts of psychoanalytic authors without having to agree with the assumptions of psychoanalysis. The analysis achieved results on two fronts: showed some of the discursive strategies used by the authors to legitimize their findings and concluded that the contemporary subject these authors is always described in a naturalized way, as a version that has something more or less than the \"classic subject\" of Freud\'s time. In the texts of Birman and Lebrun, the analysis showed that the subject now, in these speeches, no longer has what defines the \"real subject\"; while in the text Armony, the subject is outlined as the one who finally was able to develop completely, the so-called \"mild borderline\". In addition to the theoretical arguments, such conclusions are supported by the construction of a privileged place for the author: in the speeches analyzed the place of the author is a privileged speech, the place of those who know what it says, that see \"beyond appearances\", that is well read, an experienced clinician; this place more than any theoretical articulation or clinical demonstration, is the support of the statements presented in the texts

This work intends, starting from Shakespeare s intuition about the human condition expressed in the vicissitudes of Hamlet s character, to deepen a reflection on the concept of subject in Lacan s theory articulated to the formularization of the author concerning the structure and the logic times of the subject s constitution. Is extremely important to emphasize that Hamlet won t be understood as a representation of one subject in constitution. The approach to this character must be comprehended merely as propitious context to ponder on fundamental aspects of the subject s structure. This research is organized in four main stages: the first aims to introduce the reader to the question of the existing connection between psychoanalysis, art and literature; the second concerns the singularity intrinsic to the work on this famous Shakespearian production Hamlet; in the third stage, the Lacanian concepts of subject and the Other were developed; in the fourth, the connection between the concepts of Oedipus complex and the paternal metaphor was discussed trying to make clear and bring to context the articulations of both within the Shakespearian play. These concepts, that represent capital points of the Freudian and Lacanian theories, respectively, have common aspects, but aren t synonymous. Since the Lacanian theory, in which this research is based on, has many unfoldings, it was necessary to establish a delimitation of the study, that aimed to embrace the Lacanian theorizations endeavoured up to the The Seminar 10. It was possible to regard Hamlet as a portrait of the contingencies of neurosis. That being a psychic structure resulting from a determinate function of the Other, we may say that the conflict in Hamlet has clear connection with the social bonds that are established between him and the Other. Still, the question of the structure is, for Lacan, anterior and subjacent, always in the logic sense, to the establishment of the social bonds. The structural lack generates determinate effects that influence the relation between the subject and the Other. Hamlet suffers from the contingencies of his structure in the bond with the Other

Full textThis work aims to study the text The mirror stage as formative of the function of the I as revealed in psychoanalytic experience\" (1949/1998) and the mirror stage theory proposed by Jacques Lacan between 1936 and 1964. The research proposal focuses on three aspects: (1) To present the genesis of Lacan\'s formulation of the mirror phase theory between 1936 and 1938; (2) To analyze the thematic structure of the concept presented in 1949; and (3) To organize the reformulations and inflections of the mirror stage theory Lacan carries out in view of the optical model, between the years 1954 and 1964. The overall goal is to examine the main themes and psychoanalytic notions developed, in regards to the three moments proposed for the mirror stage theory. Secondarily, specifically in sections (1) and (2), the objective is to recover the main theoretical references used by Lacan, while in part (3) the methodological exercise is to organize the references in Lacan\'s own work. The two main conclusions point to the distinction between the 1949 text, the theory itself and the themes related to the mirror stage, and the definition of the concept as a demarcation of the three orders Real Symbolic Imaginary (RSI) by the inscription of the objet (petit) a, the unary trait and the specular image

Full textThis study examines the psychic constitution of alcoholic women and seeks to broaden the comprehension of their psychic functioning in order to assist those who work with this population. The study uses the Rorschach test and interview analysis as assessing instruments. The participants are 15 alcohol-dependent women who have been referred to us by their own psychiatrists. In search of common elements, we have found significant alterations in the intellectual mode of adaptation to external reality, characterized by stereotypies and submission to environmental impositions that probably derive from a need of approval. These characteristics also demonstrate indifference towards the other, as if the patients did not feel any affection for them and did not register the affection received from them. This fact displays undifferentiation. The generic and superficial adaptation mode, speech dispersion, affective turbulence, non-fixation and non-retention of experiences are aspects that hinder the creation and inscription of significant marks that go beyond the alcoholic individual. Even though the phantasmic universe is present, it is not integrated into the psychic dynamics and the subjects present a tendency of denying their own fantasies. The excessive use of alcohol seems to favor and maintain the subject\'s alienation as the negation mechanism is reinforced and the fantasies are psychically displaced. As for sexuality, we think of alcohol as a metonymy for man (: alcohol/bottle/penis/man/father) with a flowing meaning that is supported by fantasies that carry the signifier devastation in their core. As a conclusion, we state that alcohol dependence may culminate in hysteria, obsessive neurosis and psychosis; however, a deeper study on the function of alcohol use in each of the psychic structures is still necessary.

This research has as objective to investigate the subject and the desire from the view of Jacques Lacan s psychoanalytic theories, specifically about the alienation and separation processes, and also the following questions that involve them: the signifier, the enjoyment, the mirror stage and the a object; in the relationship with the persuasive language of the advertising text, so this is a text directed to interlocutor designated here as interlocutor/consumer and its objective is to change its behavior to the consumer act; in addition, it takes also into consideration the argumentative nature of this text and its relevance because it is considered one of the most creative and persuasive texts showed by media nowadays. Thus, the study about the advertising text focuses on the view of Jorge S. Martins and João Anzanello Carrascoza and the persuasive language from the perspective of Adilson Citelli and Nelly de Carvalho. The purpose of the debate comes from the fact that it offers the impossible as something possible, getting, many times, a target , without, at least, know it. This target finds resonance is Lacan s theories about the subject and the desire; the subject constituted by a fault which will be never fulfilled and a desire which will be never completely satisfied, that is, an elided subject who is always searching a total satisfaction of this desire, called as the Other Enjoyment, which the subject assumes in the Other (the mother) and which he aspire, but he will never try it. In this sense, the advertising text finds a fertile field to act, using, to this, many different language resources, to build its arguments and the knowing persuasive language or seduction language, promising, with this, the satisfaction of all needs and desires in the promotion of products, services or ideas. Therefore, it is possible to say that, the advertising text, with its persuasive language, it seems to be reaching the subject, accomplishing something of its desire, even if it is only through a partial satisfaction when it can make it change idea and go for the act of consumption.

The present research intends to construct the concept of the psychotic subject up to the Seminar III The psychoses (1955-1959) of Jacques Lacan, French psychoanalyst who proposed a new way to think the subject matter. As notorious follower of Freud, Lacan started from the progress and impasse made by the psychoanalysis creator in this field. Freud's main contribution is on thinking that the psychosis is not only a pathology and that it is another way of psychic organization. Nevertheless, Freud did not idealize a clinical treatment for the psychoses, but he did not desist from producing a theory about the issue, in private on some articles and on his study about the book Memoirs of My ervous Illness by Daniel Schreber. Lacan, still affiliated with psychiatry, on his doctoral thesis On Paranoia and Its Relationship to Personality (1932), starts from the concept that there would be a human sense in psychosis which had been left aside by the psychiatry and that it would be necessary to retake this concept, thinking the psychogenesis dimension of paranoia symptoms. Affiliated with psychoanalysis, Lacan formulates the hypothesis that in psychosis there would be a foreclosure of a primordial signifier, what would lead to another organization of the symbolic register. Based on Freud and searching for the human sense, Lacan brought from the surrealistic movement and from philosophy, that the dimension of the subject in psychosis is the bet which allows it to be seen over and above psychiatric dungeons. Finally, we propose that the movements of effort for the inclusion of the psychotic should take into account the dimension of the subject in psychosis, because they should participate actively in their treatment. Therefore, the exit would be to think the dimension of the subject and its particularity in the case of psychosis, after all he made his choice for this structure. We concluded, herewith, that retaking these psychosis theory fundamental concepts allows a contribution to the efforts for social inclusion of the psychotic subject

This research seeks to establish a dialogue between psychoanalysis and the Amplified Clinic. The purpose of this interlocution is to discuss social participation as a strategic guideline of Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS), from the perspective of a Participatory Democracy. For this, the subject notions related to psychoanalysis and to the Amplified Clinic are specified, which also delimits their clinical methods. To highlight the characteristics of the subject of the Amplified Clinic, the works of Gastão Wagner and Rosana Onocko are studied. In addition, a history chapter is elaborated, showing the struggle against the military dictatorship and Brazil’s redemocratization process, with emphasis on the work of Sérgio Arouca. Thus, we observe in the theories and commitments that create SUS a notion of subject that is characterized by the autonomy and responsibility to participate socially. These characteristics are linked to the forms of participation such as social control (Law 8.142/90) and sharing, taken as a principle of the Amplified Clinic. On the part of psychoanalysis, the subject of the unconscious is specified from the reading of Freud and Lacan. Hence, we conceive it as beyond the representation’s field, between the signifiers. In the sequence, we see how psychoanalysis allows a collective practice in health institutions oriented by the singularities of the subject, which stands out in three points: the savoir y faire with a symptom, the establishment of transference and the decentralization of the demands. Each point corresponds to ways of sustaining a mode of collective participation that includes the subject of the unconscious, which necessarily implies a distance from imperatives of participation or any form of domination of the subjects. This occurs in a case-by-case and contingency manner, provoking forms of participation in which the subject is able to bring the participatory discourse in the terms of his own narrative. In the end, as an effect of our interlocution we see the possibility of the collective production of responsibility and autonomy regarding the singularities of the subjects, which incites the differentiation of the offer and demand logic supported by the massifying and homogenizing principles of the capitalist discourse

Full textClinical sociology (Ehrenberg, Gauchet), Lacanian psychoanalysis (Melman, Kristeva, Lebrun) and part of the French philosophy (Lyotard, Deleuze, Guattari, Stiegler Malabou) come together to confront the evolutions of the « Libidinal economy » of the Self to the repressive forces of the capitalist system and the macro-orders of neoliberalism. Based on a reflection on social psychopathology, they all note the emergence of a Subject submitted to processes of depersonalization (loss of identity unit), derealization (break with the world) and disaffection (inability to express or feel emotions). This (new) figure of the contemporary subject, we conceptualize with the term "schised", is the central theme of this work focused on the different forms of indifference, boredom or inertia that seem to affect both the public and the plastic wire. Described as "schizo", "exhausted" and "traumatized", the subject of Art reveals a transformation of Plasticity we’ll analyse on two levels: as a process of self-shaping (the plasticity of the subject) and works-shaping (the plasticity of the Art). Focused on the various metamorphoses of this concept, this work seeks to highlight the potential of a hermeneutic aesthetics term at the intersection of neurosciences and psychoanalysis, and to retrace the formal evolutions of a conception of aesthetics marked by collective movement disorders. This reflection starts with a double problematic: Which Art can produce a Subject troubled in its plasticity? Can these psychopathological models help us to explain the indifference of contemporary public ?

Full textThis thesis focuses on the sharp incompatibility between the psychoanalytical speech and the contemporaneous commands that came from the social diffusion of the discourse of science. As a matter of fact, science is considered a main explanation even for daily aspects of human existence. This has been a successful project started in modernity, which is responsible for modern science and its firsthand methodological conceptions and has established a new system of commercial dealing, which was called, with Marx, capitalism. This modern approach brought the philosophical concept of the subject, later introduced by Lacan into psychoanalysis. The subject is intimate with the idea of language, adopted by Lacan, which means that as long as language exists, there will be subject. On the other hand, both the utilitarianism and the capitalism faces of current science, represent what Lacan called the ideology of the subject suppression. This is a real attack to the subject, which appears as symptom. The lacanian psychoanalysis can only be a discourse and a práxis in conflict with this science and the capitalism. It is necessarily against studies like neuropsychoanalysis, which intends to strip psychoanalysis off its subversive character. With psychoanalysis its possible to get out of both capitalism and authoritarianism of science, as Lacan said. So, its not a proposal of a new world, because that is not psychoanalysis purpose, but it is a way to evade superego imperatives of current civilization, as Eric Laurent said
