The article studies aspects of the region’s economic specialization based on an assessment of interre- gional differentiation. The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that interregional differentiation plays a significant role in the formation of regional specialization in the economy. Regions with different levels of develop- ment, access to resources and infrastructure usually develop in certain directions, which leads to the formation of their unique specializations.
