First, some precision is given to better understand what it means to work in interdisciplinary contexts such as this one, continuing the development of a terminology to be able to better identify collaboration between and with different professionals. These problems are then expressed in two case studies of dialogues as they have been documented in the research project.

This paper presets comparisons of type of monitor in personal computer set on electrical energy saving and side effect on power quality. The 3 types of monitor in personal computer consists of cathode ray tube : CRT type inch, liquid crystal display : LCD type, and light emitting diode : LED type and side of each monitor is 19 inch. The experimental results as shown the power consumption and side effect on power quality such as power factor and %THDi each monitor types. The experiment results shown the best effectiveness is LED monitor type, it can be saving of energy up to 75.69 % of CRT moni

Abstract:
Introduction: Hemophagocytic syndrome or hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis is a rare condition characterized by excessive inflammation that is thought to be caused by the absence of normal downregulation of activated macrophages and lymphocytes. The treatment of hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis can depend on whether it is primary or secondary. In secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, the treatment can be directed according to the cause. In general, protocol HLH-94 (which consists of dexamethasone and etoposide in induction and maintenance) has been widely used as it has good outcome

In this paper, a smart LED lawn lamp control system is proposed. The system consisting of LED lawn lamps, PWM control circuits and ZigBee module is used to control the light dimming and energy management. Thus, the goals of environmental protection and energy-saving features can be achieved. In addition, the automatic warning mechanism in the street light is included in the system for the sake of traffic safety. The control center will receive the message immediately only if some sudden events. At this moment, the system will notice the maintenance man or related organization. However, the sys

Boron nitride (BN) is increasingly being used as a filler in thermoplastics, primarily to increase the thermal conductivity of the resins. Filler-reinforced plastics are being considered to replace traditionally metal parts in a number of markets, with applications such as under-hood automotive parts, sensors and housings for motors, LEDs, and other electronic devices. When BN powders are used as fillers in resins, the BN-resin composite materials also demonstrate anisotropic properties, largely determined by the orientation of the platy BN crystals in the final part. A 44-year-old African-American male was admitted to our hospital after a suicide attempt. He had depression, poor cognitive function, choreiform movements, difficulty pronouncing words, and difficulty walking. His symptoms had worsened markedly over several months. Chorea lead to genetic testing that confirmed a diagnosis of Huntington Disease (HD). A CT scan of the head showed wider ventricles than is typical of HD. The head CT and gait change suggested normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH). Lumbar puncture (LP) led to improved neuropsychologic test scores and walking thereby supporting the dia

Introduction: Psychiatric pharmacists lead groups for patients with mental health disorders in a variety of locations. It is unknown whether these groups are effective in increasing patient knowledge and adherence or reducing negative healthcare outcomes. It is also unclear whether certain modalities of pharmacist-led medication education groups are more effective than others. Methods: A literature search using MEDLINE and PsycINFO was performed using the search terms “medication,” “patient education,” “pharmacy” or “pharmacist,” and “psychiatric” or “behavioral” or “mental.” Full text article

This paper investigated exports, imports and the economic growth nexus in the context of South Africa. The paper sets out to examine if long-run and causal relationships exist between these variables. Quarterly time series data ranging between 1998 and 2013 obtained from the South African Reserve Bank and Quantec databases was employed. Initial data analysis proved that the variables are integrated at their levels. The results further indicated that exports, imports and economic growth are co-integrated, confirming an existence of a long-run equilibrium relationship. Granger causal results wer
