Sucking lice are obligate ectoparasites of mammalian hosts, causing serious public health problems and economic losses worldwide. It is well known that sucking lice have fragmented mitochondrial (mt) genomes, but many remain undetermined. To better understand patterns of mt genome fragmentation in the sucking lice, we sequenced the mt genome of the buffalo louse Haematopinus tuberculatus using next-generation sequencing (NGS). The mt genome of H. tuberculatus has ten circular minichromosomes containing a total of 37 genes. Each minichromosome is 2.9–5.0 kb long and carries one to eight genes p

These host specific, blood-sucking insects are morphologically adapted for life on mammals: they are wingless, dorso-ventrally flattened, possess tibio-tarsal claws for clinging to host hair, and have piercing mouthparts for feeding. Abstract:
A nuclear fuel test loop (after below, FTL) is installed in IR1 of an irradiation hole in HANARO for testing neutron irradiation characteristics and thermo hydraulic characteristics of a fuel loaded in a light water power reactor or a heavy water power reactor. There is an in-pile section (IPS) and an out-pile section (OPS) in this test loop. When HANARO is normally operated, the fuel loaded in the IPS has a nuclear reaction heat generated by a neutron irradiation. To remove the generated heat and to maintain an operating conditions of the test fuel, a main cooling water system (MCWS) is insta

Abstract:
A supercharger is a mechanical device that can be added to an engine of a car to increase engine power. It works by sucking air in at atmospheric pressure into the rotors and compressing it at high revolutions per minute. With the rotors spinning at high speeds, the supercharger gears are exposed to high values of friction and wear, which results in a reduction of their service life. Ionic liquids (ILs) are substances that possess unique lubricating abilities when added to base oil or when used as neat lubricants. Properties include low volatility, non-flammability, as well high thermal resist

Abstract:
Introduction: Lactational mastitis is an inflammatory process of the breast that may or may not cause uncomfortable clinical manifestations. It is also an important cause of weaning, according to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), increasing the cost of care, and hence becoming a public health problem. In addition, it can be observed that, as it is a harmful process, it interferes with the quality of life of the woman-mother and, consequently, the motherchild relations. In addition, an increased risk of transmission of the virus has been reported in those with this infection. Objec
