Introduction. Modern Internet communication has its own characteristics, one of which is often used suggestion, or suggestion, which is a process of influencing the human psyche, associated with a decrease in criticality in the perception and implementation of the suggestible content. In this case, the information assimilated by suggestion is difficult to comprehend and correct, which determines the relevance of the study, especially in the modern period of information wars.

Abstract:
We have examined the propagation of temporally separated soliton pulses in single-mode optical fibers under the influence of Stimulated Raman Scattering (SRS), focusing on chalcogenide materials. Our study investigates the interplay of Kerr nonlinearity, Raman effects, and material-dependent collision length, demonstrating significant differences from typical soliton interactions. The findings from our research offers insights into nonlinear effects in high-power soliton transmission, suggesting potential applications in optical switches and mode-locked lasers.

Abstract The rapid and unexpected failure of AISI type 304 stainless steel in a wastewater treatment system was investigated in the laboratory by simulation studies for a period of 4 months. Slime and water samples from the failure site were screened for corrosion causing bacteria. Pseudomonas sp. and Bacillus sp. were the most common aerobic bacteria isolated whilst sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) were the major anaerobic bacteria. Compared to sterile controls, metal coupons exposed to Pseudomonas sp and Bacillus sp. showed initiation of severe pitting corrosion suggesting the possibility of

Abstract Top of the line corrosion (TLC) is a great concern in wet gas transportation where temperature gradient between the internals of the pipeline and the outside environment leads to the condensation of water vapor and a lighter fraction of hydrocarbons. Liquid water from the condensation is greatly corrosive as it is saturated with the acid gases; e.g. CO2, H2S, HAc, etc. Extensive work has been previously focused primarily on the hydrocarbon-free systems. In reality, the presence of condensable hydrocarbons affects the overall condensation process as two immiscible liquids with differen

Abstract Sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) are thought to be involved in microbially influenced corrosion (MIC) of oil field pipelines and equipment. Analysis of microbial communities on corrosion coupons installed in production facilities at Wainwright and Wildmere, two oil fields in Alberta, was done by reverse sample genome probing (RSGP) a DNA hybridization assay in which multiple bacteria can be tracked simultaneously. RSGP indicated dominance of SRB in the microbial communities present on 10 of 15 coupon samples. Of these Desulfovibrio spp. Lac6 and Eth3 were found to be resistant to cocod

This paper uses a natural policy experiment to estimate how changes in the costs of engaging in criminal activity may influence adolescents¿ decisions in crime participation and school attendance. The study finds that, after an exogenous decrease in the severity of judicial punishment imposed on Colombian adolescents, crime rates in Colombian municipalities increased. This effect appears to be larger in municipalities with a higher proportion of adolescents between 14 and 15 years of age. The study provides suggestive evidence that one possible transmission channel for this effect is a decreas

Background: Mechanical stress such as orthodontic forces can produce mechanical damage and inflammatory reaction in periodontium. Osteopontin (OPN) is a multifunctional cytokine that found to be correlated with periodontal disease progression. As periodontal ligaments (PDL) can be affected by stress and PDL cells are involved in periodontal destruction and remodeling, we aimed to investigate the influence of mechanical stress on the expression and regulation of OPN in human PDL (HPDL) cells. Methods: The mechanical stress was generated by continuous compressive force and the expression of OPN

The data showed that OPN expression was significantly decreased when cells were cultured on collagen-coated plates. Using carcass data collected from 1989 to 2021, the analysis was divided into two primary phases: before wolves (1989–1996) and after wolves (1997–2021). However, the barrier on PP is limited, indicating poorer compatibility to functionalization. The development of the intermediate layer did not improve the barrier performance. FESEM analyses and
