Abstract:
<strong>ABSTRACT</strong> The fresh water male crab, Barytelphusa guerini was selected for experimentation. The crabs are available in the paddy fields of Nanded district. The animals were collected and brought to the laboratory for acclimatization. The animals were subjected to sub-lethal concentration on pesticide i.e. Sumidon and Acephate. The effect of Sumidon and Acephate on cardiac physiology of fresh water male crab was studied. For the toxicological studies, the animals were subjected to sub-lethal concentration of Sumidon (1.2 ppm) and Acephate (3.5 ppm) at 0, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours after regular intervals. The animals were dissected and heart beats were recorded for 1 minute. The results reveal that due to toxic effects, the rate of heart beat decreases gradually with slight increase up to 96 hrs period of exposure. Abstract:
<strong>ABSTRACT</strong> With rapid industrialization and increase in human population, the pollution of water bodies has become a universal phenomenon in present day. Out of various sources of water pollution; the enormous use of pesticides pollutes the river and major water sources. The aquatic biota present in these sources faces the problem of aquatic pollution. The present research work focuses the attention on the effect of pesticides i.e. Sumidon and Acephate on freshwater male crab, <em>Barytelphusa guerini </em>from Godavari River, Nanded have been studied. The crab in polluted water exhibited significant decline in the total protein content in hepatopancreas compared to control values. The obtained results were expressed in terms of tables and graphs. Abstract:
Individual features of growth, development and dry matter accumulation by sunflower hybrids of one maturity group on typical, medium-humus, medium-loamy chernozem were studied. The research was carried out in a link of grain-plowing crop rotation on the lands of farm S.E. Nekipelov Pristensky district of Kursk region in different hydrothermal conditions in 2020–2022. The object of the study were sunflower hybrids (Sumico-Syngenta, P63LE10-Pioneer and Elion-Galaktika), sown to a depth of 4–5 cm when the soil was heated to 10 °C in the amount of 60 thousand pcs/ha of germinating seeds. The work was carried out in the technology of yield planning 40 c/ha, with the introduction of liquid complex fertilizers (HCS NР 11:37) before sowing in the amount of 50, 100 and 150 l/ha per depth 5, 10 and 15 cm. In the experiment, the traditional technology of preparing the soil for salting with the regulation of the number of the weed component by Express Sun technology was used. Due to the increased growth energy of the hybrids under consideration, the height of plants varies according to the phases of development and maturation in the studied variants reached 177–191 cm, which is 4.7–6.5% higher than the control values. The mass of plants in the sunflower agrocenosis increased in the Sumiko hybrid by 13.2%, P63LE10 by 11.1%, Elion by 12.5%. The plants of the hybrid Elion accumulate more dry matter in the aboveground mass. The use of HCS at a maximum dose of 150 l/ha when applied to a depth of 15 cm contributed to an increase in the accumulation of dry matter by the maturation phase in the plant biomass of the Sumiko hybrid by 304.3 g/m², the P63LE10 hybrid by 177.7 g/m², the Elion hybrid by 354.0 g/m², or, respectively, by 34.7%, 17.2% and 33.7% relative to the control.

&lt;p&gt;Konflik sering kali menjadi pemicu terjadinya perubahan perilaku dan sikap. Dalam karya sastra pun, hal ini menjadi penyebab perubahan sikap pada suatu tokoh terutama pada psikologisnya. Peneliti merasa tertarik untuk mengungkap konflik eksternal yang menjadi faktor perubahan psikologis pada tokoh dalam suatu karya sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konflik eksternal terhadap kejiwaan tokoh Sumiko dalam novel &lt;em&gt;Freeter Membeli Rumah&lt;/em&gt; karya Ariwaka Hiro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik simak catat dalam pembacaan tertutup. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori psikologi sastra karena menelaah kejiwaan salah satu tokoh yang ada dalam karya sastra, khususnya pada novel &lt;em&gt;Freeter Membeli Rumah&lt;/em&gt; karya Ariwaka Hiro. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konflik eksternal memengaruhi kejiwaan tokoh Sumiko. Sumiko mengalami gangguan depresi akibat konflik eksternal yang dialaminya. Konflik eksternal tersebut adalah (1) anak Sumiko bernama Ayako yang mengerti masalah Sumiko pergi meninggalkan rumah setelah menikah, (2) anak Sumiko yang bernama Seiji tidak memiliki pekerjaan tetap dan senang bermalas-malasan, (3) suami Sumiko yang bernama Seiichi memiliki sifat temperamen dan hanya memedulikan diri sendiri, (4) perundungan oleh tetangga sekitar memperparah gangguan kejiwaan yang diderita Sumiko.&lt;/p&gt;

Abstract:
Cada momento da filosofia da arte rumo à estética – dos antigos aos contemporâneos – é o evidenciar da invenção do gosto como critério do belo. Luc Ferry nota em sua tese que a estética hegeliana, ainda mais que a de Kant, soube levar em conta a história concreta da arte: a interpretação de Sófocles e a elucidação da poesia romântica alemã continuam sendo modelos para uma crítica da história da arte. Em Hegel, a reflexão, enquanto essência da subjetividade finita, deve ser supra-sumida pelo o que o filósofo chamou de “proposição especulativa”. No momento hegeliano da estética, a sensibilidade perde a autonomia que tinha adquirido em Kant, de modo que a estética volta a ser a expressão (Darstellung) de uma idéia no campo da sensibilidade. Assim, esta alienação (Entäusserung) da idéia numa matéria sensível exterior assume no filósofo – diferentemente do que ocorria no classicismo setecentista – a forma de uma história da arte. De tal sorte que a arte continua sendo para Hegel uma manifestação da verdade que, embora atraente, não deixa de ser por definição inferior àquela que ocorre no interior da filosofia, na medida em que a idéia se processa adequadamente na filosofia, a fim de se atingir a coisa mesma (Sache selbst), e na arte é dependente da exteriorização dos sentidos na subjetividade, tendo, ipso facto, que passar pelo processo de auto-dissolução quando atinge seu ápice, supra-sumindo-se na forma da filosofia.

Abstract:
As a response to the destruction of coral reef ecosystems, parts of the islands of Sumilon and Apo in Central Visayas were set up as No-Take Marine Reserves (NTMR) as a strategy of conservation for coral reef and associated marine systems by the Biology Department of Silliman University in 1974. Sumilon NTMR was managed by the University for 10 years (1974–1984) and Apo NTMR for 12 years (1982–1994). Beginning from 1983 to the present, Professor Garry R. Russ of James Cook University became Silliman’s collaborator. The two coral reef systems were monitored following the methodology in the Australia-ASEAN Project manual and the genetic parentage analysis. In our work on these two reserves, we obtained the cooperation local communities in the process of setting them up. The results of the nearly annual monitoring of these two NTMRs showed that over the years the fish biomass in the NTMRs increased and fish yields of fishers likewise increased over the years. There was also evidence that there was spillover of large sized fish and fish larvae from the NTMRs to other marine areas outside the protected areas. This movement is due to ocean currents in the study areas. The results of our experiments have been published in scientific journals showing the effectiveness of the marine reserve strategy. We have influenced many people throughout the country to set up more marine reserves in addition to our work in other parts of the Visayas and northern Mindanao.

Abstract:
An interesting family gauge boson (FGB) model (Model A) has been proposed by Sumino. The model can give FGBs with a considerably low energy scale in spite of the severe constraints forming the observed [Formula: see text]–[Formula: see text] mixing and so on. An essential idea in Model A is in the so-called Sumino cancellation mechanism between quantum electrodynamics (QED) and FGB diagrams. However, Model A is not anomaly free and, besides, it causes effective interactions with [Formula: see text]. In order to avoid these problems, a revised Sumino model with an inverted mass hierarchy (Model B) has been proposed, but in this time, it cannot satisfy the Sumino cancellation mechanism exactly. In this paper, we propose a revised version of Model B, where the model still keeps anomaly free, but it can exactly satisfy the Sumino mechanism. An effect of the revised model will be confirmed by observations [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text].

Abstract:
Do no-take marine reserves affect fishery yields? Manipulations of reserve status, and yield estimates, were made at two Philippine islands over two decades. Twenty-five percent and ten percent, respectively, of the coral reefs at Sumilon and Apo islands were made no-take reserves in 1974 and 1982. Biomass of target fish increased inside the no-take reserves 3- to 4.5-fold over 9–18 years. Biomass did not increase outside each reserve. Protection of the Sumilon reserve ceased in 1984. Biomass of targeted fish in the reserve and trap and gillnet catches of these fish declined by 42.7% and 40%, respectively, by 1985. The reserve was reprotected from 1987 to 1991 and from 1995 to 2001. Fish biomass increased in the reserve by 27.2%. Trap and gillnet catches outside the reserve increased 26.9% by 2001. The Apo reserve was protected from 1982 to 2001. Total catch of major fish families was significantly higher after (1985–2001) than before (1981) reserve establishment at Apo, increasing 41.3% between 1981 and 1998–2001. These experiments, plus spillover evidence, suggest that marine reserves may help maintain, or even enhance, local fishery yields in the long-term.

Abstract:
The purpose of research is to identify and recommend to production the best high-yielding new generation sunflower hybrids suitable for cultivation in the northwestern part of the Central Chernozem Region. Three sunflower hybrids were taken for research: NK Brio, Sumiko and Kubansky 930. It was found that in the northwestern part of the Central Chernozem Region the most promising hybrid is NK Brio, which provided high yield – 3.28 t/ha, an increase compared to hybrid Kubansky 930 1.03 t/ha and Sumiko – 0.53 t/ha. Hybrid NK Brio belongs to the mid-season group with a growing season of 112 days. Hybrids Kubansky 930 and Sumiko belong to the mid-early ripeness group with a growing season of 106 and 101 days, respectively. It was found that the hybrids Kubansky 930, Sumiko and NK Brio, in terms of the length of the growing season, correspond to the requirements of the typical forest-steppe of the northwestern part of the Central Chernozem Region, where the frost-free period is 140–145 days. It was revealed that oil productivity mainly depended on the yield of the hybrid. In the northwestern part of the Central Chernozem Region, the highest oil productivity was when cultivating the hybrid NK Brio – 1506.9 kg/ha. Hybrid Kubansky 930 in this indicator was inferior to NK Brio 412.6 kg/ha and Sumiko – 179.3 kg/ha.

Em quatro bairros da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, foram feitos ensaios de tratamento focal com abate granulado a 1 ppm e perifocal com pó molhável de Sumition a 2,5%. Esses tratamentos foram feitos tanto isoladamente quanto em conjunto e, também, associados à aplicação de inseticida a ultrabaixo volume. Os índices prediais, levantados um mês depois de terminado o trabalho, mostraram que o tratamento focal dispensa qualquer medida auxiliar. O tratamento perifocal mostrou-se inócuo e incapaz de impedir o aparecimento de larvas de Aëdes aegypti e de outros insetos, em pneus pintados, na face externa, com Sumition e com Malation.

“Mangrove” is the generic name for plants growing on tropical and subtropical tidal flats. The mangrove is used for many things, including disaster protecting land from high waves and tides and tsunamis, cleaning rivers and drainage containing soil and sand, and providing a variety of organisms with living space. Climate change and rising sea levels are threatening the future of the mangrove. Developing effective ways to conserve mangroves is thus needed, but more must be known about how the mangrove’s ecology and how it develops. It has been pointed out, for example, that mangroves increased flooding by the Sumiyo River in Amami Oshima. We studied ways to develop the mangrove at the Sumiyo River mouth in Amami Oshima and its influence in local flooding, finding that the current mangrove forest had little influence on flooding and that sediment deposition accelerating in Sumiyo Bay due to a sea dike could enlarge the mangrove forest in future.

Introduction: Lavender is an evergreen shrub native to Northern Africa and other mountainous Mediterranean regions. It grows throughout Southern Europe, the United States, and Australia. Lavender essential oil has been used since ancient times and is known for its anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, antiseptic, antifungal and antimicrobial properties.&#x0D; Methodology: in this study, the antimicrobial activity of two Lavender essential oils (Lavanda sumian and Lavanda grosso) against 16 multidrug-resistant P. aeruginosa strains from clinical ocular samples taken from migrant patients has been investigated. The in vitro cytotoxic activity on human Wong-Kilbourne derivative (WKD) conjunctiva cells from healthy patients and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) activity on murine macrophage (J774.1A) were also evaluated.&#x0D; Results: L. sumian showed lower antimicrobial activity when compared to L. grosso. Both lavender oils tested had no cytotoxic effect at very low concentrations, mostly L. grosso. The essential oils extracted from L. sumian and L. grosso significantly reduced NOS in a cell model.&#x0D; Conclusion: Increase in drug resistance and lack of new antibiotics may encourage the development of natural antimicrobial treatments.

This study aims to determine the content, structure, and linguistic elements in the novel The Perfect World of Miwako Sumida by Clarissa Goenawan; knowing the feminist literary criticism found in the novel The Perfect World of Miwako Sumida by Clarissa Goenawan as an alternative teaching material in learning Indonesian at the high school level. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used include writing and reading techniques. The research results are: first, the content, structure, and linguistic elements contained in the novel The Perfect World of Miwako Sumida by Clarissa Goenawan have been fulfilled. This can be proven because there are stories, abstract structures, orientations, complications, evaluations, resolutions, and coda. In the novel there are also intrinsic elements in the form of characters, characterizations, plot, setting (place, time, atmosphere), point of view, and message. In the novel there are also linguistic rules in the form of the use of direct sentences, past sentences, material verbs, mental verbs, temporal conjunctions, and adjectives. Second, feminist literary criticisms contained in the novel The Perfect World of Miwako Sumida by Clarissa Goenawan have been fulfilled. This can be proven, because there is gender marginalization, gender subordination, gender stereotypes, gender violence, and gender workload. Third, the feasibility of the results of the analysis to be utilized as teaching materials. Based on these results the researcher concluded that, some of the findings in this analysis can be used and utilized for learning materials because they are in accordance with the demands of an independent curriculum or in accordance with Learning Outcomes.

The data cover a complex study of published and original geological and geochronological materials on the stratigraphy of the Gimoly (Upper Lopian) and Sumian (Lower Proterozoic) superhorizons in the Karelian region. The base of the Sumian Ozhijarvi Formation should locate the Archean–Proterozoic boundary. The Gimoly Superhorizon is divided into the Kostomuksha (lower) and Tunguda (upper) horizons with the timeframe of about 2,760 Ma. Mainly sedimentary rocks form the Kostomuksha Horizon, whereas felsic and basic volcanites construct the Tunguda one. Sumian basic volcanites underlying the Ozhijarvi formation should belong to the Tunguda Horizon. The completeness and age distinguish three types of superhorizon sections — West Karelian, Central Karelian, and North Karelian, which form independent structural and formational zones. The rocks of the Tunguda and Kostomuksha horizons represent the West Karelian and North Karelian zones, only the Tunguda Horizon describes the Central Karelian one. The geological and geochronological analysis reveals a number of unresolved issues. The major ones include the location and age of the Tunguda Horizon lower boundary, the age and structure of the Moroznoozerskaya strata and Pebozero series sections in the stratotypic section of the north-east part of the Lekhta structure.

Este artículo estudia la política municipal aplicada para promover la organización y gestión del gremio de tejedores de seda como medio para comprender la evolución de la industria sedera en Zaragoza durante el siglo XVII. Este gremio aumentó sus competencias productivas y comerciales; pero no asumió la supervisión de la seda regional en bruto. Sumidos en el estancamiento técnico, sus miembros no monopolizaron la venta de su producción ni controlaron la calidad de las mercancías foráneas de seda. Los maestros crearon mayores barreras a la promoción de oficiales y el libre tejido de seda por mujeres. Estos obstáculos fueron sólo moderados parcialmente por decisiones municipales.

Asimismo, este es un tiempo para investigar, analizar y reflexionar sobre lo que los creadores escénicos han vivido en estos largos meses de pandemia. Frente a la oposición del gran capital agroindustrial y de las elites gobernantes locales, impulsoras de una modernización empobrecedora y excluyente, las movilizaciones campesinas de los últimos años por una renegociación del capítulo agropecuario forman parte de una lucha por transformar la relación entre el Estado y la sociedad para impulsar el rescate del campo mexicano y fomentar el desarrollo de la economía campesina y de pequeños productores. Aquí se plantean algunas razones por las cuales esta renegociación constituye una condición insoslayable para enfrentar la profunda crisis económica, social y política en que se encuentra sumido el mundo rural.

El artículo tiene como objetivo presentar algunas tendencias sobre la educación tecnológica o la tecnología en los sistemas educativos de algunos paísesdel mundo. Se revisaron los modelos educativos que influyeron en Colombia para lo cual se realizó una revisión bibliográfica sobre los sistemas educativos de algunos países. Al comparar los desarrollos del país se identificó el atraso en que está sumido debido a la forma como se plantea la política nacional por parte del gobierno y su implementación. Su interpretación se desvía hacia el modelo de la educación para la tecnología, es decir, para el manejo y uso de la tecnología, convirtiendo así al país en consumidor.

El texto se detiene en el segmento de la “superpoblación relativa” sumido en el “pauperismo”, pero que aún conserva ligazón con las relaciones asalariadas. Interroga acerca de las condiciones de laborales, y las especificidades de otras capas que confluyen dicho sector. Se plantea que las tareas involucran formas de erosionar la salud incluso de arriesgar la vida, acompañadas en ocasiones por la afectación psicológica producto de los modos despectivos con los que los trabajadores son tratados, mientras que son realizadas dentro del espectro de precariedad. Y en esta fracción se puede observar la fusión como el devenir de las particularidades propias de otros sectores de la “superpoblación relativa”.
