Abstract:
Introduction: One of the most frequent method of suicide attempt in India is intentional super vasmol poisoning. If it is untreated, it leads to many complications such as, rhabdomyolysis, angioedema, acute kidney injury, and hypocalcemia. Of all above mentioned; hypocalcemia can cause pathologies of the neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. Early detection and treatment of the issue can reduce the diseases and fatalities that are related to it.
Aim: This study aims to assess the incidence, clinical manifestations, and management of hypocalcemia in super vasmol poisonin

Demographic profiles, volume consumed, time to hospitalization, clinical presentation, laboratory findings, treatment details, and outcomes of patients with hair dye poisoning were analyzed to assess the effect of Super Vasmol 33. The efficacy of methylprednisolone as compared to hydrocortisone in patients was also investigated. Findings show that there are significant differences in the clinical profiles laboratory markers such as markers of leukocytosis, rhabdomyolysis, and hepatitis among patients who consumed fewer volumes than larger volumes. Toxicity is dose dependent with increased morb

Abstract:
In an emergency room, cricothyroidotomy is often considered the surgical airway of choice, preferred over an emergency tracheostomy. The procedure allows safe and effective airway management, with few complications. I present two cases of Super Vasmol poisoning with severe airway obstruction – “CANNOT INTUBATE, CANNOT VENTILATE” situation requiring emergency cricothyroidotomy.

Super-Vasmol, a cheap, freely-available hair dye is emerging as a major cause of suicidal poisoning in India. It contains potential toxins including paraphenylene diamine, resorcinol, sodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and propylene glycol which can result in multiorgan dysfunction. A retrospective study was conducted over 3.5 years (January 2006 – July 2009) of 13 consecutive patients with Super-Vasmol poisoning admitted to a tertiary care, referral hospital in South India. A chart review including records of clinical presentations, laboratory findings and treatment details was carried ou

Abstract:
This chapter focuses attention on the division of David’s and Solomon’s kingdom into two separate states: Israel in the north and Judah in the south. The aftermath of that event and the subsequent interaction with both comparable states in Transjordan and the international super powers are chronicled both in the biblical narrative and in inscriptional evidence from these political rivals. Of particular importance is how these two minor political entities responded to their forced role as vassal states. Archaeological evidence of the Iron II period also provides a great deal more information on
