The objective of this study is to examine the impact of supplier flexibility, dependence, trust, on behavioral loyalty in the context of the supplier-retail superstore relationship. Taking supplier trust as a mediator, this research built a structural model. Data were collected from the manufacturers of consumer food products in Bangladesh, and hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling with AMOS. Out of six hypotheses, three are found to be statistically significant. Particularly, supplier flexibility impacts both supplier trust and retail superstore repurchase loyalty, and sup

Abstract:
Automated pricing and replenishment of vegetable items is one of the hot issues of the new era. In order to make replenishment decisions on the day's vegetable goods for superstores, this paper first constructs a nonlinear regression model to fit the function of vegetable category pricing and daily sales volume, and finds that the two have a negative correlation; Second, this paper predicts the cost of each category of vegetables for the coming week by building a gray time series prediction model; Finally, this paper takes the pricing of different categories on different dates as the decision

Focusing on the case of the superstore sector, this article sheds light on the sources of dedication to work and the contradictory dynamics operating in the world of work today. At precisely the moment that companies are demanding considerable employee commitment, they possess fewer and fewer resources to engender it. Superstores are emblematic of this paradox, organised as they are according to “just in time” and “zero inventory” principles, which require intense dedication from store staff amounting to total working time flexibility. The incentive model promoted in the sector is to promise e

In fresh food superstores, vegetable commodities are characterized by a short shelf life and deterioration in quality over time. To meet market demand and profit, merchants usually sell vegetables with shipping losses and deteriorating quality at a discount. Therefore, the pricing and replenishment strategies of vegetables have an important impact on the profit maximization of fresh produce superstores. The aim of this paper is to reveal the patterns by processing and analyzing the past sales data. The distribution pattern between different categories of vegetables is obtained through Pearson'

The pricing of vegetables in modern fresh produce superstores is generally based on the "cost-plus pricing" method, and reliable market demand analysis is particularly important for replenishment and pricing decisions. Against this background, this paper provides a complete set of vegetable merchandising strategies for supermarkets. Firstly, we detect and analyze the purchase data, study the relationship between the sales volume, visualize the sales volume data, and calculate the correlation between the sales volume of each category and individual product by using Pearson's algorithm and Spear

The intolerance to storage of vegetable commodities in supermarkets makes automatic pricing and replenishment decisions for vegetable commodities particularly important. This paper takes the measured data of a superstore as an example to formulate a set of effective pricing and replenishment decisions for vegetable commodities, which is a comprehensive consideration to ensure the balance of supply and demand, and to reduce the losses of the superstore and the loss rate of commodities. First of all, the sales of each category and single product in different time periods were counted, and the Pe

The Recency, Frequency, and Monetary model, also known as the RFM model, is a popular and widely used business model for determining beneficial client segments and analyzing profit. It is also recommended and frequently used in superstores to identify customer segments and increase profit margins. Later, the Length, Recency, Frequency, and Monetary model, also known as the LRFM model, was introduced as an improved version of the RFM model to identify more relevant and exact consumer groups for profit maximization. Different categories of vegetables have different growth cycles, seasonal supply variations, and price fluctuations. Supermarkets need to consider these factors when making replenishment and pricing decisions in order to maximise revenue while meeting market demand. In this paper, replenishment and pricing decisions are made based on the historical sales data of the superstore, using a linear regression model and then predicting future sales based on a seasonal ARIMA model. In the early 1990s, several new entrants extended “category‐killer, big‐box” retailing concepts to the marketing of used vehicles. Despite promise, each entrant has either exited the market or changed its business plan. Based on both primary and secondary data, the authors find that, although the superstore maintains some advantages over traditional used‐vehicle retailers, it has cost disadvantages over the traditional retailer. These findings on both the demand and the supply side of the business explain the observed market failures.
