Abstract:
We study the structure of superselection sectors of an arbitrary perturbation of a conformal field theory. We describe how a restriction of the q-deformed sl(2) affine Lie algebra symmetry of the sine-Gordon theory can be used to derive the S-matrices of the Φ(1,3) perturbations of the minimal unitary series. This analysis provides an identification of fields which create the massive kink spectrum. We investigate the ultraviolet limit of the restricted sine-Gordon model, and explain the relation between the restriction and the Fock space cohomology of minimal models. We also comment on the str

Abstract Burge multipartitions are tuples of partitions that satisfy a cyclic embedding condition. When uncoloured, Burge m-multipartitions give a combinatorial model for characters of the Wm algebras (W 2 is the Virasoro algebra). When n-coloured, they generalise the “cylindric partitions” that provide a combinatorial model (and a crystal graph) for integrable characters of the affine Lie algebra s l ^ ( n ) . Here, we show that the n-coloured Burge m-multipartitions yield the characters of the CFT cosets g l ^ ( d ) m / g l ^ ( d − n ) m . Having previously shown that the same combinatorial

The N=2 fermionic extensions of the KdV equations are derived from the zero curvature condition associated with the graded Lie algebra of OSp(2/2). These equations lead to two bi-Hamiltonian systems, one of which is supersymmetric. We also derive the one-parameter family of N=2 supersymmetric KdV equations without a bi-Hamiltonian structure in this approach. Following our earlier proposal, we interpret the zero curvature condition as a gauge anomaly equation which brings out the underlying current algebra for the corresponding 2D supergravity theory. This current algebra is then used to obtain

We show how the supersymmetric KdV equation can be obtained from the self-duality condition on Yang-Mills fields in four dimensions associated with the graded Lie algebra OSp(2/1). We also obtain the hierarchy of SUSY KdV equations as well as the s-KdV equations from such a condition. We formulate the SUSY KdV hierarchy as a vanishing curvature condition associated with the U(1) group and show how an Abelian self-duality condition in four dimensions can also lead to these equations.

Abstract We discuss a general methodology to provide rigid, off-shell matter multiplets and actions for recently constructed non-relativistic superalgebras. The technique is based on the Lie algebra expansion, which, in the context of supersymmetry, has so far been used to obtain non-relativistic on-shell supergravity models. We first explain how the Lie algebra expansion can be implemented to generate off-shell rigid multiplets on a flat background by developing an auxiliary framework where only the lowest order behavior of the spatial and temporal vielbein is relevant. We then provide explic

Abstract In this work we present the non-relativistic regime of the Hietarinta gravity theory and its extension to supergravity. At the bosonic level, we derive the non-relativistic version of the Hietarinta model by employing a contraction process and addressing the non-degeneracy of the invariant metric. To incorporate supersymmetry, we apply the Lie algebra expansion method to obtain the non-relativistic formulation of $${\mathcal {N}}=2$$ N = 2 Hietarinta supergravity. Our results reveal that the non-relativistic Hietarinta theory encompasses the extended Bargmann (super)gravity as a speci

Abstract Deser and Waldron have shown that maximal depth partially massless theories of higher (integer) spin on four-dimensional de Sitter spacetime (dS4) possess infinitesimal symmetries generated by the conformal Killing vectors of dS4. However, it was later shown by Barnich, Bekaert, and Grigoriev that these theories are not invariant under the conformal algebra so(2, 4). To get some insight into these seemingly contradicting results we write down the full set of infinitesimal transformations of the fields generated by the fifteen conformal Killing vectors of dS4. In this work we describe an analytic method able to give the multiplication table(s) of the set(s) involved in an S-expansion process (with either resonance or 0-resonant-reduction) for reaching a target Lie (super)algebra from a starting one, after having properly chosen the partitions over subspaces of the considered (super)algebras. This analytic method gives us a simple set of expressions to find the subset decomposition of the set(s) involved in the process. Then, we use the information coming from both the initial (super)algebra and the target one for reaching the multiplication
