Abstract:
In order to predict the timing of ovulation in mares, to obtain mature oocytes and follicular fluid in ART cycles, the domestic analogue of GnRH surfagon was used in two doses (40 and 50 mcg) against the background of comparison with the effectiveness of the previously used hCG drug. Surfagon injections were carried out intramuscularly when the leading follicle reached a diameter of 35 mm or more, and there was maximum or decreased edema of the uterus. An analysis of the duration of the intervals between intramuscular injection of 40 µg and 50 µg of the drug and ovulation showed that 72.4 and

Synchronization schemes of sexual cyclicity are widely used in dairy cattle breeding to optimize reproductive function in cows and heifers. A comparative evaluation of the use of three synthetic analogues of gonadotropin-releasing hormones (GnRH) in a complex synchronization scheme was carried out, as well as the influence of the morphobiochemical composition of blood on fertilization was determined. For experimental work, 3 groups of full-aged cows were formed, 10 in each. The first group of animals was intramuscularly administered surfagon at a dose of 10 ml, the second – fertagil 2.5 ml, th

African catfish is a promising object of industrial fish farming with an urgent problem of in vivo sperm obtaining, which greatly limits the possibility of breeding this species. One of the widely used methods of obtaining sperm is hormonal stimulation of males followed by post-mortem extraction of the testes. Modern science also has surgical methods for intravital sperm collection from African catfish males with preliminary stimulation with hormonal drugs. However, the need for hormonal stimulation in Clarias gariepinus males is closely associated with the risk of developing postoperative com

Nowadays only 30–50% of inseminated cows actually calve and the majority of pregnancy loses happens during the first 2–3 weeks after insemination. Fertility rate of heifers and cows with average milk production is from 90% to 100%, but in high producing animals that are influenced by stress, such rate can be reduced to 80%. Our experimental researches were conducted in conditions of dairy farms of Poltava and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine in summer of 2020. The work is devoted to the study of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of African sharptooth catfish caviar produced at different periods of the inter-spawning interval, obtained artificially under the influence of reproductive hormones. In industrial aquaculture, the African catfish does not reproduce naturally, so the problem of obtaining high-quality caviar suitable for artificial insemination is relevant. To carry out the reproductive process in fish in industrial aquaculture, it is necessary to choose the right sex hormone and its dose. Sex hormones affect the duration of the in

Mechanical Engineering
M.S.M.E.
The mechanisms of acceleration and transport of collisionless plasma in the presence of electromagnetic turbulence (EMT) still remains not fully understood. The particle-EMT interaction can be modelled as the interaction of the particle with a particular wave in the presence of random noise. It has been shown that in such a model the acceleration of the charged particles can be almost free. This effect is known as resonance, which can be explained by the so-called “surfatron” mechanism. We have conducted several numerical simulations for the models with an

This diploma thesis deals mainly with utilization of plasma in technological aplications. The introductory part is apllied to the theoretical description of plasma generated by the surfatron. This launcher works with the frequency of 2,45 GHz and it is able to excite the surface wave, that sustains plasma column in a quartz tube. Plasma generated by surfatron was used for modification of surface properties of polyethylen to change its surface energy. By changing of surface energy it was reached of higher hydrophilicity.
