This thesis is a multi-wavelength study of high energy objects interacting with the interstellar medium (ISM). One such object is the W28 supernova remnant (SNR) with several sites of TeV (10¹ ² eV) γ-ray emission detected from its boundary by the H.E.S.S. telescopes.
