We use survey findings to analyse the effects of the Austrian income tax reform 2015/2016 on private consumption differentiated by income classes. Using survey data, we also estimate the corresponding average marginal propensities to consume and compare them to applied average marginal propensities to consume in economic models used to analyse the previous two income tax reforms in Austria. Preference for diet soda over regular soda was higher in females as compared to males and in Caucasians as compared to other races. Geography disparities exist in obesity and obesity related conditions. This study aimed to examine the geographic differences in obesity prevalence and its risk factors among Asian Americans in California. Data (n = 4,000) from the 2013–2014 California Health Interview Survey were used. Obesity (≥27.5 kg/m2) was defined according to the World Health Organization Asian body mass index cut points in Asian groups. Results suggest that 66.5% of Asians lived in urban areas. Available data from the quinquennial Infant Feeding Surveys (IFS) show that breastfeeding rates in Great Britain (GB) rose steadily between 1985 and 2010. However, the rates of breastfeeding continuation and exclusivity remain relatively low, and there is evidence that breastfeeding in public may still be considered unacceptable by many in GB.
