Over-the-counter (OTC) drugs are widely used for self-medication and minor health issues without the need for a prescription. This study aims to evaluate the current trends and level of public awareness regarding the use of OTC medications. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among a diverse population, including students, working professionals, and elderly individuals. Selected ADCs behave without latch-up below 50 MeV·cm2/mg and are able to bear doses of ionizing radiation above 50 krad(Si). An exhaustive search of ADCs with radiation characterization data has been carried out throughout the literature.
