Abstract:
With the rapid growth of the digital economy and the increasing importance of sustainable development, digital orientation (DO) plays a vital role, as does green absorptive capacity (GAC) and sustainable business model innovation (SBMI). This study is the first to explore the internal mechanism of DO affecting the sustainable performance of agricultural enterprises through GAC and SBMI. Using data collected from 267 agricultural enterprises in China, the validity of the conceptual model was tested using hierarchical regression analysis. Green transition by reducing CO2 emissions and curtailing the exploitation of natural resources while increasing renewable energy use and generation is one of the most important targets in sustainable development. This study investigated the impacts of women’s empowerment in politics on the green transition in developing countries. We applied a fixed-effects model to the panel data for 131 developing countries from 2000 to 2019. Our findings indicated that higher levels of participation by women in politics are likely to reduce CO2 emissions and reliance on natural resources. However, there wa

There have been significant post-pandemic fiscal corrections in India at the Union and State levels. Our analysis shows that excessive fiscal corrections by some States coupled with the emergence of revenue deficits resulted in underutilisation of fiscal space and lower capital expenditure than its potential at the State level. However, many fiscal risks remain. Some of the major risks include increasing off-budget operations by the States. The study notes that a future bailout of distribution companies (DISCOMs) may significantly reduce fiscal space for development spending at the State level

As a result, the industrial sector in these nations grew as a cluster of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Over the years, MSMEs have grown to become the face of industry in the developing world, including India. Within India, the MSME sector has organically been bifurcated into the formal and the informal sub-sectors. The present study is an attempt to analyze and evaluate the growth of the for
