The thesis covers methods for image segmentation. Fuzzy segmentation is based on the thresholding method. This is generalized to accept multiple criteria. The whole process is mathematically based on the free algebra theory. Free distributive lattice is created from poset of elements based on image properties and the lattice members are represented by terms used by the threshoding. Possible segmentation results compose the equivalence classes distribution. The thesis also contains description of resulting algorithms and methods for their optimization. Also the method of area subtracting is introduced.

Photopolymerization is a technique used to create surface structures or microobjects from a photoresist. This process is started by illuminating the sample with a light of proper wavelength absorbed by the resist. After exposure, the sample is processed according to the type of the photoresist – be it heating, treating with developer or just washing the unaffected monomer with some reagent. Focused femtosecond laser beam with double wavelength can be used in the process. Short pulse length with high photon density starts two-photon absorption localized in the vicinity of focal point. The method resolution is thus increased and details with 1/10 micrometer size can be created. Moreover, very short laser pulse decreases the heat affected zone and the risk of thermal initiation is minimized. Manufacturing of larger structures composed of tiny details with two-photon photopolymerization is time-demanding process. Therefore, we have complemented the optical setup with spatial light modulator (SLM), which splits the incoming laser beam into several beams with holograms dynamically generated by a computer. Polymerization can be thus performed by multiple foci simultaneously which can be used to create separated microparticles or periodical surface structures. Additional speed improvement of the process can be substitution of static configuration, requiring sample replacement after each exposition, with continuous setup using microfluidic channel steadily supplied with photoresist transported to the active region of the sample.

Thesis focuses on activities of Czech unions on an example of ČMKOS. Main ideological influences are presented as well as historical evolution regarding Czech trade unions. The text is further focused on the role trade unions played during the Velvet revolution and transformational aftermath. Next chapters analyse the current role of unions, challenges they are facing and what kind of instruments they are using to support their demands. The analysis applies on ČMKOS and deals with personal staffing and relationships with political parties. Last part handles coverage ČMKOS is getting from Czech media.

This master’s thesis aims to design a suitable system based on a relational database for the purposes of administrative activities of the District Football Association. The created relational database should be managed primarily by the association secretary, to a lesser extent by members of association specialist committees. The database should be able to contain all the information and records which have been dealing with the paper form so far (match fixtures, awarding fines, clubs’ fees, players’ punishments, etc.). Routine administrative work, such as reading, inserting, deleting and updating the data will be carried out through the web interface and should not place any special demands on the level of users computer skills.

Cílem této seminární práce je analýza vývoje charakteristik Sovětského svazu během reformního období spojeného s M. S. Gorbačovem. Právě proměně základních atributů sovětského systému se věnuje první část práce. Pro druhou část práce jsem vybral konkrétní reformní kroky sovětského vedení, které měly přispět k obnovení hospodářského rozvoje. U těchto opatření jsou popsána jejich východiska, zamýšlené důsledky a skutečné dopady. Celá práce by tak měla svým obsahem přispět k diskuzi o možnosti reformování sovětského hospodářství i samotného Sovětského svazu. Práce dokazuje, že upuštění od základních znaků sovětského systému spolu se změnami v hospodářství nevedlo k nastolení rozkvětu ekonomiky a státu. Ale naopak výrazně přispělo k celkové destabilizaci, a proto práce dokazuje nereformovatelnost Sovětského svazu i jeho hospodářství.

This dissertation explores governance of national sports organizations (NSOs) in the Czech Republic and thus reflects contemporary course of events in the Czech sport. The aim of the dissertation is to explore governance of Czech NSOs with special focus on governance structure and transparency. Particularly, the dissertation examines compliance of Czech NSOs with codes of good governance and determines relations between governance structure, transparency and effectiveness of Czech NSOs. Mixed method approach was used in equal status sequential design (QUANT -> QUAL) Firstly, content analysis of websites of 67 Czech NSOs was conducted. The analysis allowed to determine the level of transparency and also provided variables for quantitative part of the study. Purposive sampling was used to choose nine NSOs where subsequent interviews with a CEO or a head of the board were done. And finally, quantitative data survey was conducted in 67 NSOs using phone interviews and e-mail survey. The quantitative data were processed using MS Excel and SPSS and, hypotheses were tested using standard statistical tests. The results are presented in three chapters. First, applicability of five elementary approaches to effectiveness is presented and combination of goal attainment and system resource approach is implemented. Second, governance structure of NSOs is analysed revealing substantially higher variability of governance models in comparison with theoretical presumptions. Moreover, a new framework of governance structure classification was developed. Third, transparency was identified as the most notable principal. Results reveal very low level of the transparency within Czech NSOs and explore the sources and impact of low transparency. For instance, more transparent NSOs are more effective using system resource approach. Overall, the dissertation provides a new deep insight into Czech NSOs governance and brings numerous recommendations for Czech NSOs.

Significant maldistribution negatively influences performance of equipment containing dense tube bundles and, moreover, it can cause a wide range of operating issues. This thesis therefore focuses on analysis of fluid flow in complete distribution systems via computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Data obtained from simulations carried out using the software ANSYS Fluent were also statistically analysed. Influence of system arrangement, tube bundle parameters and operating parameters on flow distribution non-uniformity and pressure drop was investigated. According to the results, system arrangement is the crucial differentiating parameter in terms of flow distribution as well as pressure drop. Additionally, data obtained via the classical CFD approach were compared with those yielded by a simplified CFD model for three selected distribution systems. Simplified CFD approach can - given its low computational demand - be utilised in optimization algorithms as well as in the course of the initial stage of equipment design process. Furthermore, this thesis discusses a simulation tool which is based on the simplified CFD approach. Although this tool is still being developed, the results it yields are very promising.

This thesis deals with the area of management of business informatics at the Floorball Union. It is a very specific type of organization with a mixed organization structure and decision-making processes divided between elected bodies and the employee structure of the organiza-tion, where the area of business informatics is, due to the mission and goals of the organiza-tion, rather at the periphery of the interest of the management of this sports association. It is so despite the fact that the floorball union has developed and runs its own information system FIS. Based on the knowledge and experience acquired in the theoretical part, the thesis aims at assessing the current model of management of business informatics, defining its biggest shortcomings and proposing adjustments to this model. Within the assessment of the management model, the thesis further evaluates the benefits of the implementation of the infor-mation system FIS, with the aim of evidencing the rightness of the decision to develop and implement the system, both from the point of view of non-financial benefits, as well as financial impacts and possibilities of further development and growth of the organization. The theoretical part of the thesis contains a description of the structure, goals and mission of the sports association, and attention is then devoted to the selected models, frameworks and approaches to management of business informatics and measuring its benefits. The practical part is devoted to an analysis of the current state of management of business informatics, and it includes a description of all its resources and relations, as well as a definition of its biggest shortcomings. Based on the findings, I have proposed a centralization of the management model including proposals of specific measures that will eliminate the discovered shortcom-ings to maximum extent. Compared to standards, the model of management of business in-formatics has been in some areas adjusted according to the needs, requirements and characteristics of the organization for which it is being designed. Another significant part of the practical part of the thesis contains evidence regarding the benefits of the implementation of the information system FIS. It is this part in particular, along with the creation of a new model of company information system management for the Czech Floorball Union, that I consider the most significant contribution of my diploma thesis.

Zakarpattia Oblast of today's Ukraine has been a part of Hungarian Kingdom, Czechoslovakia, Soviet Ukraine and then, after collapse of Soviet Union, Ukraine. The main goal of this thesis is to deal with the efforts of Rusins to gain the autonomy since 1848, the economic and social potential to become the autonomous part of Ukraine today and to deal with the question whether Rusins could be considered as the nation or not. Due to isolation of this peripheral part of the state by Carpathian Mountains, Zakarpattia has always been the center of autonomic tendences. According to M. Hroch term "nation" should have its objective (by which he meant language, history, culture etc.) and subjective traits (to realize themselves as a part of the nation). There is rusin language, history and culture, but the national consciousness of beeing Rusin is still missing.

Předmětem diplomové práce je problematika migrace a uplatnění migrantů na trhu práce. Práce obecně charakterizuje pojem migrace a její ukazatele. Dále se práce zabývá migračními politikami Evropské unie a České republiky. Zaměřuje se také na charakteristiku postavení imigrantů na trzích práce v zemích OECD a především v České republice. Cílem práce je charakterizovat imigranty ze zemí bývalého Sovětského svazu a jejich postavení na českém trhu práce a odpovědět na otázku, zda tito imigranti stále uplatňují především při práci, která vyžadují nízkou kvalifikaci a za kterou dostávají mzdu, jež je často pod úrovní českých pracovníků. Práce se dále zabývá prognózou dalšího vývoje počtu imigrantů ze zemí bývalého Sovětského svazu.

Ve své práce se snažím analyzovat možné způsoby urovnání konfliktů v daných regionech. Teoretická a praktická významnost mé diplomové práce spočívá v možném použití výsledků při rozhodování o nejlepším způsobu urovnání národnostních konfliktů na území bývalého Sovětského svazu.

The thesis deals with expatriation of Czech employees to ex-USSR countries. Potential HR policies and the use of various HR tools are discussed. Based on the above a comprehensive set of learnings, instructions and recommendations for potential expatriates in ex-Soviet countries has been created. The conclusions be also used by HR specialists who arrange such expatriations. The thesis concentrates on two groups of workers: on managers and on professional athletes. The thesis also analyzes the sectors where Czech corporations in the region invest in the most - finance, engineering, investment units. Most differences that should be accounted for by a Czech expatriates are worse living standards, different habits at workplace, different culture and environment, different costs of living and net salary. The thesis is based on a systematic analysis of a large set of secondary data, mainly from serious newspapers and professional magazines.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of analysis of the highest and best use (abbreviated as HABU). In the theoretical research, this method is described, and defines the solution process using 4 basic steps, namely legal admissibility, physical possibilities, financial justification, and maximum profitability. Subsequently, this method is applied to a specific plot in Zlín-Jižní svahy area. The solution proposes 9 variants of utilization of this land. Using the HABU method we are looking for the best use, which in turn brings the investor the highest profit. The aim of the thesis is also a clear description and practical demonstration of the application of this method, which has not been represented in the Czech Republic so far. It can thus help to understand and use it in property valuation.

This dissertation deals with German-Soviet economic and political relations from 1939 to 1941. These were forms of totalitarian regimes whose cooperation was not suspended though its own dynamics were influenced by ideological, economic, and political conditions. One of the motives for the intensification of German-Soviet cooperation was Germany's attempt to secure self-sufficiency in the development of raw materials. The German-Soviet Nonaggression Pact of August 23rd, 1939 was a calculated accord with precise objectives when in both systems common national interests, which consisted also in the partition of Poland, overshadowed their ideological differences. This work outlines the circumstances of the negotiations, the main actors, and motives leading to the creation of the most significant trade agreements. It quantifies the Soviet deliveries exported to the German economy in the given period and analyzes the fulfillment of contractual obligations. A barely two-year business relationship in which Reich Foreign Ministry was significantly engaged provided more short-term benefits to the German war economy, especially in quantitative terms. It helped Hitler, among others, partially solve the import dependency. With regard to the structure of trade, the Stalinist regime was particularly important for the Nazi economy because of imports of raw materials and food. Reciprocally, Hitler's Germany represented a notable source of technologies and arms production. Business contracts completion was affected by military operations, strategic plans, contract terms and conditions, and other factors. In the last part, the thesis analyzes the German economic situation in the occupied territories of the USSR in the years 1941-1943 with respect to the area of present-day Ukraine and Belarus. The aim was to answer the question of whether the planned economic goals were achieved, and to characterize the most important factors influencing German economic gains. Part of this research was an analysis of the overall balance of obtained minerals, food, and labor in order to provide an answer to the question whether it was worth it, in purely quantitative terms, for Germany to terminate economic cooperation and attack the Soviet Union. Military action was motivated by economic objectives, while there is no doubt about the racially ideological background. In the elaboration and implementation of occupation policy representatives of the industrial and banking sectors or the Reich's ministries were actively involved. Benefits expected from the economic occupation of the Soviet territory were not realized. Efficiency and goals achievement were complicated by evacuation and collaboration, also corruption, guerrilla activities, and the concept of occupation policy.

The diploma thesis analyzes the European, Czech and Russian standards and requirements for ensuring safety of machinery and methodical process to ensure safety through certification of machinery and centrifugal pumps specially introduced onto the market in the Eurasian Economic Union and the Russian Federation. The first part describes the legislative documents, their properties and the current legislative requirements of EU and EAES. In the second part is an analysis and described comparison of legislative safety requirements of the European Union, the Czech Republic, the Eurasian Economic Union and the Russian Federation. In the third part is described comparison of standards, and were made updates. In the practical part is an analysis of risks pump manufacturer "SIGMA GROUP" according to the requirements EAES and proposed methods for reducing risk prevention. Also in the practical part is analyzed and is created methodical preparation of certification of machinery and pumps placed on the market in the Eurasian Economic Union and the Russian Federation.

Tato práce je zaměřena na zkoumání politických a ekonomických souvislostí vztahů Sovětského Svazu a Československa v období po nástupu komunismu v roce 1948 až do 1968, kdy se uskutečnila intervence států Varšavské smlouvy, která ukončila reformní proces v ČSSR. Obsahuje charakteristiku vztahů dvou zemí v období před rokem 1948, které vytvořilo předpoklady pro vzájemnou spolupráci a vycházela z konkrétní politické situace jak ve vnitřní politice, tak i na mezinárodní scéně, a po roce 1968, pro které bylo charakteristické ekonomický úpadek a pokles vzájemného obchodu mezi zeměmi, samotné zkoumané dvacetileté období, které je považováno za nejúspěšnější v dějinách takzvaného Východního bloku a obou zemí, kdy jejich politická a ekonomická váha ve světě dosáhuje vrcholu pro Československou republiku v poválečném období a pro SSSR v dějinách země, a také charakteristiku fungování Rady vzájemné hospodářské pomoci, v jejimž rámci probíhá vzájemný obchod ČSSR a SSSR v tomto období. Úlohou práce je pak zhodnotit pozitivní a negativní stránky vývoje vztahů mezi oběma zeměmi v tomto období z politického a ekonomického hlediska.

The thesis maps the change in the territorial structure of Czechoslovak foreign trade in 1945-1953. The aim of the study is verification of the hypothesis that allows for direct foreign trade policy constraints on political events. In other words, as the gradual political integration of Czechoslovakia into the Soviet bloc touched territorial structure of foreign trade. The text examines the changing trend in foreign trade, which has been shown by growth of the share of the USSR at the expense of the capitalist states, and addresses the question of whether and how much the Soviet Union could replace the liberal market economy. The work contributes to the knowledge of the functioning of the post-war period with foreign exchange trading and describes the influence of foreign trade by the disproportionately greater economic and political entity.

Uvádí hlavní svazy a sdružení působící v lázeňství a jejich význam. V další části práce je analýza současného stavu lázeňství s přihlédnutím k vývoji zvláště v posledních pěti letech. Tato část také sleduje vývoj systémů měření kvality v lázeňství a dále se zaměřuje na Anenské slatinné lázně, jako vzor v hodnocení kvality. Kvůli možnému drastickému omezení rozsahu hrazení lázeňské péče zdravotními pojišťovnami uvádí dále možné způsoby financování lázní, jednak dotacemi z EU, jednak uvádí komerční trendy v tomto sektoru

Created a few sample welds on Yb-YAG optical laser, which is subjected to mechanical testing . Procedures are provided in the work of laser technology and welding, as well as general properties and defects in welds. Made welds was evaluated and listed the best welding parameters of the studied process parameters .

Both the theoretical outlines of a solution to the climate and ecological crisis, as well as concrete efforts at environmental reform and energy transformation, often run into the ambivalent role of organised labour, particularly trade unions, in todays growth-oriented, fossil-fuel based economy. On the one hand, trade unions often already formally endorse the ideal of sustainability, on the other hand, in concrete environmental conflicts, they often the side with "jobs" against climate and environmental protections, and thus serve as a support of the growth-oriented fossil economy. The concept of a just transition, embodying the attempts at creating a framework in which the interests of workers and climate protection can be reconciled, thus also becomes ambivalent, serving often as a basis for arguments against more ambitious decarbonization. Title: Women in decision making bodies in Czech sport (focus on federations of Czech Sport Union) Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis based on existing theoretical knowledge is find out what is the representation of women in management positions of sports associations is, to reveal the reasons or fears of women to become sports officials and to assess the possibilities or interest in becoming part of management structures. Methods: The main method is the questionnaire survey method. Women in the management structures of sports associations were asked to answer particular set of questions. Contacts for the interviewed women were obtained by analyzing secondary data from the websites of individual sports associations. Results: Due to the secondary data analysis the numerical representation of women and men as sports officials was determined. However, the numbers are rough regarding the lack of union numerical data. Both, the analysis and the questionnaire survey confirmed the numerical superiority of men in almost all unions. Methods: In this thesis was used a method of analysis of secondary data, namely documents issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Czech Badminton Union. For the calculations in the practical part of this thesis was used correlation and regression analysis. The MS Office Excel tools were used to determine the correlation coefficients - Regression function and then the Solver function to predict model situations. Results: For all the evaluation criteria surveyed in this thesis, the positive dependence to income of Czech Badminton Union was confirmed. This study surveys the activities of The Union of Gypsies-Roma in the West Bohemian Region and reconstructs the work of its regional board and the affiliated economic facility Névodrom seated in Pilsen. My dissertation focuses on few selected First Republic travelogues and its authors who in their works reflected their own subjective relationship towards the Soviet Union in the first half of the 20th century. By the gradual assessment of the research questions that I define by my complex approach at the end of my dissertation I reach the conclusion that I outline in the introduction. The goal of my methodological research is to evaluate the ability of recognition and reflexion of selected intellectuals and their perception of reality of the Soviet regime in the span of two decades by analytical and comparative methods divided into six chapters. The thesis focuses on such topics as a theory of non-democratic regimes, ideas, contemporary history and literary history. The travelogue reports of choice are going to provide a picture of contemporary Soviet society that was idealized by some intellectuals who, unlike others, could not have seen through the illusion that the Soviet Union had created. The French writer André Gide (1869-1951) was a representative of the individualist stream in society and literature at the end of the nineteenth and in the first half of the twentieth century. This diploma work examines the circumstances of the writer's involvement in the question of communism in the thirties of the twentieth century, which led to his visit of the Soviet Union in summer 1936 and to his writing two revealing testimonies. Gide's Soviet episode is considered from the perspective of his individualism, which is treated in the first part of this work. It depicts both the basic influences and inspirations that had impact on Gide's individualist spirit and its manifestation in the author's life, creation and in his art and social criticism. The second part focuses on the matter of Gide's communist alignment. It shows the main reasons for his sympathy with the communist ideas, which progressively developed into their association in the early thirties of the twentieth century. In this period of incertitude due to deep social and economic crisis, which gave rise to emerging totalities, Gide felt the need of a political alignment. The topic of this diploma thesis is ethnic groups in the space of the former Soviet Union in the time period 1994-2006 and their involvement in ethnic conflicts. The aim of this thesis is to identify key parameters driving these ethnic groups towards armed conflict as a response to their needs, interests and living conditions. Key assumptions of this thesis are derived from qauntitative as well as qualitative studies. Important characteristics of ethnic groups are also included in the analysis of possible causes of ethnic conflicts. The theoretical discussion shows three main factors which can make ethnic groups more prone to conflict: permanent exclusion, strong identity and lastly dissimilarity of an ethnic group. Influence of these factors is tested using descriptive statistics, odds ratio, correlation and logistic regression. Statistical results shows that strong identity as well as discrimination of ethnic groups increase the probability of ethnic conflicts.

Ještě před koncem první světové války, v dubnu a květnu 1918, se Dohoda začínala odklánět od úsilí zachovat Rakousko-Uhersko a začala podporovat hnutí potlačených národů Rakouska-Uherska. Tato změna taktiky byla způsobená ztrátou naděje na uzavření separátního míru s Rakousko-Uherskem, které se dostalo do naprostého područí Německa. Dalším důvodem bylo, že se v Rakousku-Uhersku začal projevovat vliv ruské revoluce. Tato skutečnost snižovala význam habsburské monarchie, která měla podle představ Dohody zadržovat revoluční proudy z Ruska. Dohoda hledala nové opory k zadržení revoluční laviny a našla je v potlačených národech habsburské monarchie, neboť ty se nezaměřovaly na dosažení bolševické revoluce, ale na získání své samostatnosti. Značný význam měly pro Dohodu i československé legie v Rusku. Československé legie posilovaly politickou pozici Československé národní rady v Paříži a ta byla v červnu uznána Francií za prozatímní československou vládu. Postupně během léta a podzimu byla prozatímní československá vláda uznána i ostatními státy Dohody. V červenci došlo v Praze k vytvoření nového reprezentačního orgánu české politiky, Národního výboru, který připravoval vytvoření samostatného Československa. 14. října 1918 došlo v Paříži k oficiálnímu ustavení československé provizorní vlády, o čtyři dny později...

This thesis is about the distributive full Lambek calculus, i.e., intuicionistic logic without the structural rules of exchange, contraction and weakening and particularly about the two semantics of this logic, one of which is algebraic, the other one is a Kripke semantic. The two semantics are treated in separate chapters and some results about them are shown, for example the disjunction property is proven by amalgamation of Kripke models. The core of this thesis is nevertheless the relation of these two semantics, since it is interesting to study what do they have in common and how can they actually differ, both being a semantics of the same logic. Third chapter concentrates on organization's ideology and its changes during this period, focusing on events of 1968 and the following changes. Last chapter describes how the ideology of Czechoslovak Women's Union was reflected in Vlasta magazine.
