In swept-source optical coherence tomography (SSOCT), the swept-source stimulates system by a series of wavelengths in time sequence; a photo detector then collects all reflected/backscattered light from testing sample as the components of Fourier series. Due to the nature of the SSOCT, the processing in spectral domain can merge multiple swept-sources with different central wavelengths, which greatly increases the resolution of the OCT imaging. In the wavelength probing OCT, a standard broadband SSOCT system is used to extract the internal structure of the sample, and another narrow band ligh

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a high-speed and non-contact optical imaging technology widely used for noninvasive cross-sectional imaging of biological objects. Two main OCT technologies have been developed: time domain and Fourier domain technologies. The latter can be further divided into spectral domain OCT, which uses a broadband light source and a spectrometer as a detector, and swept source OCT, which employs a quickly-rotating laser source. Abstract:
Dual-source swept-source optical coherence tomography (DS-SSOCT) has two individual sources with different central wavelengths, linewidth, and bandwidths. Because of the difference between the two sources, the individually reconstructed tomograms from each source have different aspect ratio, which makes the comparison and integration difficult. We report a method to merge two sets of DS-SSOCT raw data in a common spectrum, on which both data have the same spectrum density and a correct separation. The reconstructed tomographic image can seamlessly integrate the two bands of OCT data together.

Abstract:
Purpose: To identify locations of hypofluorescent lesions on late-phase indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) in patients with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) using en-face optical coherence tomography (OCT). Procedures: We retrospectively studied 25 consecutive untreated CSC patients, using swept-source OCT and ICGA. En-face swept-source OCT images were automatically segmented and flattened with Bruch's membrane (BrM). We compared the sizes of hyperreflective areas in the 25 CSC and 25 contralateral eyes on en-face images and hypofluorescent areas on ICGA after 30 min. Results: All 25 C

Abstract:
Purpose. To compare central corneal thickness (CCT), aqueous depth (AQD), and anterior chamber depth (ACD) measurements using the swept-source (CASIA SS-1000, Tomey, Japan) and time-domain (Visante, Carl Zeiss Meditec, USA) anterior segment optical coherence tomographers (OCT) in normal eyes. Methods. Sixty-eight eyes of 68 subjects were included. Three consecutive scans of each subject were obtained using both devices in a random order by one experienced operator. Standard deviation (Sw), coefficient of repeatability (CoR), coefficients of variation (CoV), and intraclass correlation coefficie
