This study aimed to compare adalimumab originator vs. biosimilar in HS patients, and to evaluate the effect of a switch to a biosimilar, or a switch back to the originator, in terms of treatment ineffectiveness. Patients with a diagnosis of HS were enrolled from 14 Italian sites. Treatment ineffectiveness was measured using Hurley score. The major analyses were 1) comparison between the two treatment groups (non-switcher analysis), and 2) the cross-over trend of Hurley score between treatment switchers (switcher analysis). Abstract:
We use precinct-level data to examine two questions: how an incumbent’s “reelection constituency” changes following a party switch and whether incumbents who switch parties do worse than non-switchers. Our data come from four members of the U.S. House who switched parties between 1995 and 2004. Among this group, one switched parties prior to the enactment of a controversial redistricting plan, and thus we can assess how boundary changes mitigate the negative impact of party switching. We also compare each party switcher’s vote following the switch with that of non-switching incumbents running

AbstractYttrium oxide (Y2O3) has been widely used in metal-reinforced composites, microelectronics, waveguide lasers, and high-temperature protective coatings because of its good physical and photoelectric properties. However, few studies have been done on the nonlinear optical applications of Y2O3 as saturable absorbers (SAs) in fiber lasers so far. Here, a passively Q-switched near-infrared fiber laser using Y2O3 as a Q-switching device is demonstrated. The optical nonlinear properties of the Y2O3 SA prepared by the magnetron sputtering method were measured by the twin-detector measurement t

Abstract We successfully investigated the influence of thickness on the tunability performance of plasma-sputtered indium tin oxide (ITO) as a Q-switcher. ITO is coated using direct current magnetron sputtering techniques with sputtering times of 150 s, 250 s, and 350 s to generate excellent quality ITO. Filmetrics measures the thickness, yielding 17.80 nm, 30.70 nm, and 38.90 nm, respectively. A stable Q-switched pulse is achieved at an operating wavelength and peak power of 1562.30 nm and −6.47 dBm for the thickness of 17.80 nm, 1561.40 nm and −3.19 dBm for the thickness of 30.70 nm, and 156
