The “Coherent Data Set” is a novel synthetic data set that leverages structured data from Synthea™ to create a longitudinal, “coherent” patient-level electronic health record (EHR). Comprised of synthetic patients, the Coherent Data Set is publicly available, reproducible using Synthea™, and free of the privacy risks that arise from using real patient data. The Coherent Data Set provides complex and representative health records that can be leveraged by health IT professionals without the risks associated with de-identified patient data. In this study, the integration of useful statistical methods from different disciplines for analyzing the forest community of the Lienhuachih area of central Taiwan was attempted. We employed a seriated heat map to confirm the presence of multiple community patterns in the area and used the gap statistics and a clustplot to confirm the number and structure of the patterns, respectively. A minimum spanning tree was used to display a succession series among the quadrats, and Renyi diversity was used to indicate the species composition of these patterns. The results confirmed the existence of six

The vegetation cover of Wrangel Island has been investigated according to the symphytosociological approach, with sigma-syntaxon as a base category. This approach was laid by European phytosociologists (Tüxen, 1973; Géhu, 1986; Schwabe, 1989), and later was developed in our country (Gogoleva et al., 1987; Naumova et al., 1987; Golub, Chorbadze, 1991) and in North America (Ansseau, Grandtner, 1990). The classification of territorial units of vegetation cover has become possible after the concept of complex vegetation was justified. European phytosociologists (Krause, 1952) have proposed the con

It has been found that the formation Carpineta betuli contains the largest number of semi-edificators that usually do not act as edificators. Abstract Seven associations of herb-Sphagnum rich-fen communities were identified in the north of European Russia. The identification was done by the topological-ecological method based on dominant species and eco-coenotic groups of species. The associations differ in scope from Northern and Central European syntaxa. East Fennoscandian syntaxa should be construed as Fennoscandian races of associations with wider distribution ranges. A classification of North Eurasian herb-Sphagnum rich-fen communities needs to be developed using a common methodology.
