This thesis studies the National Labour Market Board (AMS) and the role it played during the Assyrian/Syrian migration during the 1960s and 1970s. AMS was created at the end of the 1940s with full employment as its main goal. During the 1950s and 1960s this seemingly worked perfectly and AMS had considerable influence on the migration patterns to Sweden. However this changed during the 1970s and a combination of events turned the Swedish economy to a decline. En tidig sexualdebut kan dock vara problematiskt i många avseenden. <p>Vi valde uppsatsämnet efter att vi tidigare i vår utbildning besökte Södertälje och då tyckte det var en fascinerande stad med en sådan blandning av olika religiösa samfund. Vi inledde vår undersökning med att kontakta församlingsprästerna för de två Syrisk-ortodoxa kyrkorna. Vi samtalade med var och en av dem i deras respektive kyrka. En diakon fick vi också möjlighet att träffa och prata med. Vi skickade våra intervjufrågor till de som vi tidigare intervjuat och de lämnade vidare frågorna till andra människor i församlingen.
