AbstractWhen running data-mining algorithms on big data platforms, a parallel, distributed framework, such asMAPREDUCE, may be used. However, in a parallel framework, each individual model fits the data allocated to its own computing node without necessarily fitting the entire dataset. In order to induce a single consistent model, ensemble algorithms such as majority voting, aggregate the local models, rather than analyzing the entire dataset directly. Our goal is to develop an efficient algorithm for choosing one representative model from multiple, locally induced decision-tree models. The proposed SySM (syntactic similarity method) algorithm computes the similarity between the models produced by parallel nodes and chooses the model which is most similar to others as the best representative of the entire dataset. In 18.75% of 48 experiments on four big datasets, SySM accuracy is significantly higher than that of the ensemble; in about 43.75% of the experiments, SySM accuracy is significantly lower; in one case, the results are identical; and in the remaining 35.41% of cases the difference is not statistically significant. Compared with ensemble methods, the representative tree models selected by the proposed methodology are more compact and interpretable, their induction consumes less memory, and, as confirmed by the empirical results, they allow faster classification of new records.

According to the first project using SVC to mitigate SSO in China, this paper builds the system model based on real time digtal simulator,and gives an introduction to the sysem model. Under typical operation mode and fault conditions,the performance of SVC is fully validated,it also analysis and comparise the performance of SVC under different operation modes. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesionairs untuk Auditor responden yang bekerja di Jakarta, baik dari empat besar dan empat non besar. Data yang diterima adalah 46 dari 50 responden. Bentuk pengujian hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa satu variabel independen, yaitu waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan perikatan audit, yang mempengaruhi audit sistem informasi dilaksanakan oleh Auditor.The purpose of this research is investigating the factors affecting to information system audit implemented by Auditor. The following factors consists of control risk determination by Auditor, the size of Public Accountant Firm, business complexity, information sysem complexity, time needed for performing the audit engagement, the number of asset and the number of revenue. This research was conducted by distributing kuesionairs to Auditor respondents working in Jakarta, both from big four and non big four. The data received is 46 of 50 respondents. AbstractThe origin and course of the carotid arterial sysem in the superior mediastinum and neck are remarkably constant. Although variations are rare, they can have important implications in certain clinical problems. In this report, a patient underwent free jejunal graft repair of a cervical oesophageal stricture caused by radiotherapy for a post-cricoid carcinoma. The common carotid artery on the side of the surgical approach was found to cross the midline to the other side of the neck, and created difficulties both with the procedure and future management. This has not been previously reported.

Abstract The overview of Sophistic proposed by Philostratus in the introduction to the Lives of the Sophists creates a serious problem of interpretation. The system of two Sophistics: Old Sophistic and Second Sophistic as the author of the Lives defines them, appears to involve weaknesses and contradictions which bring into question the credibility of Philostratus. One might therefore believe that the Philostratean sysem of two Sophistics, through its apparent incoherence, in no way clarifies the question of the definition of a sophist. This article proposes, in contrast, to make visible the conception of Sophistic that hides behind the opposition between Old Sophistic and Second Sophistic, by analysing the introduction and the preface of the Lives of the Sophists.

Este estudo é parte de tese de doutorado e aborda, como discussão central, a problemática da violência no trânsito envolvendo jovens de 18 (dezoito) a 29 (vinte e nove) anos em cinco cidades localizadas na Região Oeste do Paraná. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritivo analítica, que utilizou como fonte o Banco de Dados do Corpo de Bombeiros do Paraná (SYSBM-RGO), SIM/DATASUS e SIH/SUS. Foram pesquisados os anos de 2012, 2013 e 2014, com uma amostragem intencional estratificada. Na pesquisa, a violência que se refere não diz respeito à violência que ocorre no espaço urbano, mas, especificamente, a violência no trânsito, retratada no elevado número anual de mortes e lesionados. Abstract:
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has been studied for more than a decades that resulted in evolution of the significant applications towards assisting in sensing physical information from human inaccesible area. It was also observed from existing sysem that energy attribute is the root cause of majority of the problems associated with WSN that also gives rise to various operational reliability issue. Therefore, the prime goal of the proposed study is to present a novel predictive optimization approach of data fusion in order to jointly address the problems associated with energy efficiency and reliable operation of sensor nodes in WSN. An analytical research approach is carried out in order to ensure that a time-based synchronization scheme contributes to offer an evolutionary approach towards significant energy optimization. A simulation-based benchmarking analysis is carried out to find that proposed system offers good energy-efficient performance in comparison to existing approaches.

Abstract:
Democratic governance empowers and provides citizens the opportunity to live a life of their free will. Unfortunately, Pakistans democracy is confronted with numerous challenges. Among these challenges, governance issues are worthy of attention. The paper especially focuses on PPPs first tenure under Benazir Bhutto in terms of its commitment to democratic governance. It was expected that the norms of democracy would be strengthened, and the country would never see dictatorial rule again in any manifestation. This paper examines PPPs style of governance keeping in view its fragile position in the parliament and the all-over hostile working environment in the country in 1988-90. Centreprovincial relationship; especially Punjab, has also been taken into account. The study explores Benazirs claims and struggles for strengthening democracy. Furthermore, the paper highlights those factors that made the party to fulfil its commitments and to bring the systm of good governance in Pakistan.

<p class="1Body">Avalanche photodiodes (APDs) are important building blocks for high-sensivity, low<strong>-</strong>noise receivers deployed in the datacenter, wireless and cloud computing networks. Maintaining stable dark current is a crucial task for overall robust sysem reliability. To achieve design-in low dark current stability, good knowledge of reliability physics is indispensable. In this work, we study the physical mechanisms of 10G/25G mesa-type APD degradation. We institute a predictive reliability model to account for the degradation processes. A comprehensive comparison of APD and IC transistor is also illustrated in terms of dielectric breakdown, mobile ion migration and hot carrier injection. The model suggests that surface leakage current is the dominant factor for the mesa-type APD degradation. Based on the model, it is predicted that highly reliable 10G/25G APD can be achieved with the suppression of weak links at the surface/interface states.</p>

Abstract:
Subject. The article focuses on organizational and methodological issues of internal compliance control in e-commerce businesses. Objectives. We refine the design and technique of internal compliance control for e-commerce businesses. Methods. The study relies upon methods of analysis and generalization, grouping, systematization, risk-based, systems and business process approaches. Results. We devised the five-component compliance control sysem, determined its principles and functions ensuring the economic security of e-commerce businesses. We suggest conducting compliance procedures intended to mitigate IT risks and accounting for the specifics of e-commerce business processes. Conclusions and Relevance. In e-commerce, compliance control serves for identifying and monitoring compliance risks, ensuring safe operations of businesses, which is vital for people. The information system for IT risk protection was found to underlie compliance control, while control procedures can be classified into general and applied. The findings can be used to set up a reliable and effective compliance system for e-commerce businesses in order to prevent economic abuses and crime.
