AbstractThe U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) beef grading system plays an important role in marketing and promoting beef. USDA graders inspect beef carcasses and determine a quality grade within a few seconds. Although the graders are well trained, the nature of this grading process may lead to grading errors. Significant differences in the USDA graders’ “called” and “camera-graded” quality grades were observed, as well as variations in quality grades across seasons and years. Premature rutting due to high temperatures and heavy loads has been a major distress on flexible pavements in Pakistan. One of the main causes of this early rutting is the available asphalt binders, which are still graded by using penetration grading system. The penetration grading system is based on empirical tests and does not link with performance. To improve the quality of the flexible pavement and to avoid the premature rutting the performance based testings were conducting in laboratory. This study evaluated performance graded (PG) binders for use in pavement construction in the country.

According to the criteria used, the types of assessment are divided into two assessment, criterion-referenced assessments and norm-referenced assessments. When the grading system of state universities in Turkish higher education is examined, it has been observed that some universities use criterion-referenced assessment, some use norm-referenced assessment, a

This paper proposes a real-time flag alarm system that can monitor air quality and automatically plant colored flags to inform the people in the barracks. This system automatically measures the local PM 2.5 concentrations with PM sensors; and automatically measures the temperature and humidity with temperature and humidity sensors, then converts the measured values into the grades of danger coefficients and the grades of AQI to plant or replace flags by automatic control. The danger coefficient grades are represented by four colored flags, namely, green, blue, yellow, and red; meanwhile, the A

The classification is based on the original 5-tier Spetzler-Martin grading system, and reflects the treatment paradigm for these lesions. The implications of this modification in the literature are explored. Methods Class A combines Grades I and II AVMs, Class B are Grade III AVMs, and Class C combines Grades IV and V AVMs. Recommended management is surgery for Class A AVMs, multimodality treatment for Class B, and observation for Class C, with exceptions to the latter including recurrent hemorr
