Full textThe digital world with constantly evolution gives rise to the precious concept , "data" that is known as the black gold. In accordance with this evolution, database management systems, which play an important role in data valuation, are becoming an essential element of information systems and decision- making processes. With respect to the digital revolution, data is generated every second in a huge volume, by multiple sources and with different formats.Despite the fact that managing large and dispersed data is a problematic issue , we could not neglect the precious value that could potentially be gained through raw data exploration. This heterogeneity translates into the need for an integrated system to efficiently store, process and analyze the huge amount of scattered data. The phenomenon of huge data, known as big data, requires a decision-making system with an appropriate architecture that stores the heterogeneous data and supports the main characteristics of the big data environment, such as the data volume, the veracity, velocity and veracity. The data lake, which is a centralized storage system, is a good answer to these arising problems to receive raw data on a large scale in their native formats. Concerning this goal, it is clear that the infrastructure and architecture of the data lake have a significant impact on the profitability and functionality of the overall system. In this regard, the design and management of the data lake structure requires practical and innovative methods in order to achieve an integrated and optimal centralized repository. By considering the systematic structure of the data lake as well as the hierarchical architecture of the systems, a logistical vision could lead us to the defined objectives. The supply chain is a good example of logistics systems where hierarchical participants are coordi- nated within an integrated network in order to prepare a product or render services to targeted consumers. The logistics structure as well as the supply chain management strategies could be an innovative source of inspiration to design, manage and optimize a data management system based on a logistics vision. For this reason, the implementation of the analog method between systematic structures clarifies to what extent one could take advantage of management strategies derived from the supply chain to develop the architecture and performance of the data lake.In this thesis, we hypothesize that it is possible to describe a data lake and its functionality by comparing it to the logistical structure of a supply chain. On the basis of these objectives:First, we are interested in relying on several data lake architectures and verifying the effectiveness of these architectures on the performance of the data lake, in particular in relation to data governance and the quality of services. In a second step, we introduce the supply chain, supply chain management and the methods that are used frequently to optimize the supply chain. Furthermore we compare all the elements of this data lake logistics system and focus on their similar points in order to use the data lake supply chain management methods.Thirdly, we propose a new architecture for data lake based on supply chain definition thanks to the evolutionary process of modeling the structures of data lakes. We finish this work by optimizing the proposed data lake architecture with supply chain network design strategies and propose the methods to solve the defined mathematical optimization model

Full textThe thesis is structured in five chapters. The first chapter brings to light the current context of the market of the energy and the GN which the research concerns. The history of the market of the GN is presented by focusing the distribution, where the new rules promulgated for the whole market of the energy, created a new competitive environment. This one is the result of the change of structure of the sector, go from a public monopoly to the private competition. We show the more successful need of management tools, such as the real options. Also, we can see that the flexible systems of distribution become an asset important for the deployment of a distribution network. The second chapter presents the general structure of the empirical research. It discusses the epistemology of the research and the abductive approach which is used there. This last one, based on Thiétart ( 2001 ), allows that the research can advance with the interactions enter the ground of research And the theory in a simultaneous way. We also show that the systematic methodological approach (Grawitz,2001) is the one which adapts itself best to the research. The third chapter exposes the frame of analysis of the research. It exploits the important aspects of the approach by the real options for the analysis of the system of distribution of GN. The objective here is to show the state of the research on the real options and the contributions which the optional approach can offer to the management of the distribution of the GN

Full textIntegrating the enterprise to a Supply Chain is presented by researchers and practitioners as a lever for organizational performance. Yet if logistics integration is generating performance, this cannot be done without the acceptance of new constraints due to its implementation. Technology integration promotes the integration of processes to move toward an integrated enterprise. We discuss the evaluation of the information system that supports the integration in order to uncover some constraints associated with its use. To describe these constraints, we mobilize the innovative concept of side effects and thus pose our research question: How to assess side effects of logistics integration for users of the information system ? We analyze the perceptions of users on the effects of regular use of technology for their logistics activity. We adopt a qualitative methodology and select three case studies. Each representing an inter-organizational logistics process in a specific industry : food industry. Pharmaceutical and automotive. Data collection is carried out through interviews and analysis is then carried out by thematic coding. The results of our research lead to identify twelve side effects, five of which are specific to the use of Interorganizational information systems. We also analyzed these effects in terms of contextual factors: logistics integration configuration. Role and place in the supply chain and involvement into the introduction of technologies. Our results lead to enrich the typology of misfits of Strong and Volkoff (2010) by entering the notion of side effects to assess the consequences for users of the use of information system

Full text[The design process of mechanical product gathers generally different activities. Each activity is generally modeled by a program that executes called from methods defined in different classes of objects. Similarly, different activities manipulate the same objects without any interaction between them. However, a simple modification of attributes of an object can imply modifications on attributes of the other objects manipulated during others activities. In the thesis, we present an integrated design system of gearboxes. In this system, we present an approach that allows to cooperate the different design activities of transmission gearboxes. This approach is based on an object oriented representation of the different mechanical components of the gearbox. This representation allows the definition of a common component library for all design activities. The compatibility of the system is maintained with the different relationship definition between objects, constraints, design rules and methods. This library communicates between a module of data processing, a module of data basis and the user. ]

Full textI wish to demonstrate in this thesis that the realisation of extended enterprise, which corresponds to the emergence of intermediate systems founded on the protocols of partnership is at the same time associated with a management of cooperative information systems, notably with the aim of optimising operational flow management. The field of application is parcels delivery in france. My thesis is divided into two parts. The first part, of a theoretical nature, begins with the analysis of industrial cooperative strategies -ie networks- to show that these generate new needs concerning information exchange. The concept of a cooperative information system is put forward as a system of information adapted to carry out the communications policies of a networked organisation. The second part of my thesis takes us to the construction of a "projective model" in which is organised a body of hypotheses, followed by a methodology of investigation put into place to explore the strategies carried out in a particular industry. After having indicated, with broad brushstrokes, the general characteristics of express parcels services, i propose the description and analysis of cooperative information systems through the results of fieldwork, carried out by indepth interviews within 11 different companies. Cooperative information systems ensure the connection between two visions of of the same production process : strategic (the type of cooperation strategy) and operational (the vision of the process -ie the flow)

Full textIn order to improve their competitiveness, many enterprises seek to reduce the cost of doing business, and advance their capability for rapidly developing new services and products. For that, enterprises focus more and more on their core business while they are more and more involved in collaborative organizations. This trend involves reinforcing collaboration relationship with partners leading to virtual organizations. Such inter-enterprises organizations have to pay a particular attention on logistic operations, from procurement to final products distribution. Improving the global performance of such a supply chain relies on both industrial optimization and on an efficient process coordination and information sharing between partners. The enactment of supply chain business process relies heavily on information and communication technologies (ICT). They lead to overcome boarders between enterprises and then create new business opportunities. The core idea of our approach hinges on a global vision for flexible collaboration of supply chain partners and provides a global framework based on neutral technologies and standards to support collaboration management. In this work, we present an open integrated framework to support inter-enterprises collaboration based on facilitating the access to private processes of legacy systems and defining common business process issued from assembling distributed services through a global workflow. Potential involvement of several legacy heterogeneous systems in one collaborative business process is coupled with stronger interoperability requirements both for Business Process organization and information exchange

Full textIn a context of world-wide economy that goes from complication to rising complexity, the certainty of constant change bring us to a new economical order, the hypercompetition. Indeed, the "feedbacks" between the industrial system components and the territorial system components to the principle of co-evolution in which the notion of time is a key element of the transformations. The important interaction between the components in the current economy leads the actors to the paradigm of the "adaptative dynamic" to constantly better their performance. On the basis on the internal analysis of these two systems, this work tries to demonstrate to what extent the competitiveness observed on the ground not only is the reflection of macro sector-based dynamics. It also tries to identify to what extent this competitiveness is also the result of organizational configuration and of the intra and inter systems coherence

Full textThe number of significant interorganizational relationships where independents firms cooperate to carry out complex logistics functions is increasing and such arrangements significantly contribute to performance in many contexts. While the results are often impressive, logistics outsourcing is not without possible pitfalls. Dependencies are an important kind of relationship between firms because they imply the need for coordination and they imply constraints on the ways in which a process may be redesigned. Within any given logistics channel there is a set of shipper – logistics service provider dependencies that follow the flow of materials and information from one activity to the next. It is useful for the development of this research to conceptualize a logistics channel as a network of activity flows directed towards customer wants and needs. These flows include nodes of logistics activities where channel entities create partial and incremental commitment to order attributes such as transport, warehousing, packaging, dispatch, quality control, etc. Therefore coordination between the various players in the network I key in its effective management. This network of interdependent activities is connected by linkages. These linkages often create trade-offs in performing different activities that should be optimized. A company must resolve such trade-offs, in accordance with its strategy. Linkages therefore require activities to be coordinated. Careful management of linkages is often is often a powerful source of competitive management. Our research uses two distinct methodologies to explore the phenomena of outsourcing relationships. First interviews of logistics managers were conducted to explore the implications of outsourcing relationship involvement. Second, a comprehensive data base was developed to provide a perspective on the nature of outsourcing relationships in general and in interface management specifically

Full textThe transportation of goods, or city logistics, is a complex system as much by the diversity of its stakeholders (city, transporters, traders, etc.) as by the entanglement of their interactions. Each of these actors has its own objectives, but the effects of decisions to achieve them have repercussions on a global level. Piloting this activity therefore represents a real challenge: not only precisely modeling the system - past or present - poses real difficulties (in terms of complexity and of the data required), but this modeling makes it difficult to predict the effects of the decisions taken on this one. Its management requires the ability to project and represent the effects of decisions, not yet observed, on it. Relevant city logistics decisions must be based on models which must integrate a more detailed vision of activity, at the microscopic level, that is to say operations, towards a macroscopic level which prevailed until then. To do this, we therefore propose to rely on mathematical simulation tools which aim to simulate the macroscopic effects of different decisions (e.g. prohibition of certain engines) by considering microscopic interactions of logistics such as foreseeable change in a logistics organization and the impact on associated indicators (e.g., the level of pollution on a street or the cost of delivery). This is why we are proposing the "open model methodology", the objective is to design and validate a model that can be used by actors in city logistics when making strategic decisions. At the heart of this methodology is the question of integrating expert knowledge into a simulation model. Such a question has agitated the scientific community at least since the creation of AI as a discipline: first with expert systems, whose failure is linked to the impossibility of mechanizing expert knowledge; now with the extremely promising advances in machine learning, which among other things attempt to learn from experts reasoning, but whose models face problems of data availability, validation and explainability. We believe that this methodology makes it possible to reconcile data science and management science so that in complex environments, the decision can be assisted by simulations which allow to master more precisely this complexity. In addition, assuming a certain availability of data, and the desire to set up a data-driven piloting (therefore more automated), this model could serve as a first basis for validating more complex machine learning models

Full textAn efficient and effective transport for passengers and goods is an essentialelement for cities' daily life and development. As passengers need to resort to efficienttransport solutions, allowing to reach their destinations at scheduled time, similarly, goods must be handled quickly to avoid creating excessive stocks and to minimizewarehouses size and related operating costs. As urban space is a limited resource, it iscommonly argued that passengers and goods flows inter-act each other strongly.Considering the fact that both flows are growing and growing in urban environment(European Commission, 2007) the global level of urban accessibility decreases.According to this trend, congestion problems occur and as a result the travel timeincreases for all.Cities need new scenarios to reverse this trend. Facing this challenge, ourresearch aims at defining a model which will constitute a first framework to plan and tocontrol both passengers and goods flows in the urban environment. It focuses on thesharing concept, which means to make a joint use of transport resources, betweenpassengers and goods flows. Driving under the national research project ANR CGOODS(City Goods Operation Optimization using Decision support System) this study assessesthe interest of implementing an shared urban transport system. The proposed transportsystem ensures the supply of goods in a medium-sized town, from an urban distributioncenter, based on a transit line that carries passengers. Vehicles running on the line usetheir residual capacity to transport goods. The goods are unloaded by the stops of the line.An capillary distribution system associated with each stop ensures goods deliveries tofinal destinations. We aim to define the economic, environmental and societal impacts ofthis system, the purpose being to provide a methodological framework to guide itsimplementation

Full textThe purpose of this investigation is to underline the advantages offered by applying the collective strategy model in the context of humanitarian logistics, enriching the existing benefits that operations management and business logistics techniques have brought to the field. In both man-made and natural disaster relief, humanitarian logistics operations have been hampered by a lack of coordination between actors, which directly affects performance in terms of reactivity and reliability. Adapted collective strategies could offer a solution to this problem. A literature review deals with the issue of humanitarian logistics through an operational dimension, followed by a strategic approach. This is rounded out with a case study dealing with the Pisco earthquake in Peru (August 2007), which is based on a participant observation methodological approach. The research presented revealed that a collective action approach had a positive impact on the working of humanitarian supply chains, as long as a “hub” was used to provide accountability and reliability. If a technical approach, particularly in matters of operations management (optimization of transportation, location of regional warehouses, etc.) is essential to better manage humanitarian logistics, it must also be in the service of a collective strategy, notably in the pre-positioning of supplies and the coordination of relief efforts. The case study provides several ideas for improving operation coordination, particularly through direct “symbiotic partnerships” in vertical relations and direct “commensalistic partnerships” in horizontal relations

Full textIt is well known that the territorial industrial ecosystem is now a major issue in territory planning policies. As a result, it constitutes a system of action in which the various actors involved use different approaches and whose objectives are not always close and sometimes conflicting points of view. In all approaches, an ideal type of dashboard incorporating indicators and focusing on performance pilotage is emerging today from the literature. In this context, it appears the importance of the treatment of the problem of evaluation of a territorial industrial ecosystem and more precisely the evaluation of the performance of a distribution system in a port area: the hinterland. This subject has not been sufficiently developed in the literature since it has not been treated with a multidisciplinary approach. This problem is characterized by the strong link between the transport infrastructure, the territorial system and the logistics zones following the exchange of goods flows in the territory through the transport infrastructure. The theoretical contribution of this work is presented in the original investigation approach, which involves different theoretical approaches in order to understand and solve a problem related to two complex systems (the logistics system and the territorial system). For clarity, this work is a decision aid through the reflection on distribution solutions by integrating territorial specificities and not as a tool for optimizing tours or logistics organization

Full textThe generalisation of the logistic policy in organizing container chains which the very nature a such a transport system enables, entails a complete re-evaluation of port status and demands a new approach of transport production, namely of the handling. As a basic element of port passage and as service production, handling must be satisfactory in terms of container circulation quality -rapidity, reliability, rate. Also, handling must be synchronised with the connected links of the chains. A detailed analysis of quayside production -a crucial operation in port handling shows that there is a need for o more adapted management : exploitation and maintenance should be regarded as the two productive aspects of the activity; on the other hand, quayside production should be integrated so that the global efficiency of actions can be evaluated at the strategic level of "port production". Within this management approach, the development of the maintenance function as an effective logistic support allows a technical and economic control of quayside production. In this aim, the improvement of intervention methods during and off exploitation will guarantee control of hazards and of technical production costs and allow a more scientific management of equipment -of unloading cranes especially. .

Full textThe hospital systems are a place of health care distinguished by the variety of activities and situations with which they are confronted. This creates interactions leading into unexpected situations related to several risks. The risk management appears as an important concern for the decisions makers. More particularly, the risk management in the operating theatres has a major importance given that they are about a highly strategic in relation to the many activities they include and the costs they generate. The zero risk does not exist. Never theless, it can be reduced. This research aims to control risk management in operating rooms. This research gets in collaboration between l’Ecole Centrale de Lille and the University Hospital (UH) of Sousse Sahloul, field of study chosen to implement the proposed approach. Since non system of risk management has been implemented in this establishment, this work is significant and original for the UH Sahloul. Our approach is made up of several steps. First, following a comparison between the existing methods of risk management, we chose to adapt the method of risk management FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis) in operating rooms of UH Sahloul, Sousse. We propose a decision support system for risk management based on multi-agent approach in order to guide contributors in the operating rooms making the best decisions to minimize risks which occur in UH Sahloul. Full textDelivery in the urban environment is an important issue that cities want to put in place. The aim is to try to improve the activity of urban delivery (last mile delivery) and find faster delivery methods that adapt to market requirements (e-commerce).In our study, we are interested in using a fleet of drones in an urban environment to transport parcels. This use raises questions that are related to logistical support of this park in an operating environment and which are little discussed in the research. Our goal, in this thesis, is to propose approaches to size the drone park and the appropriate logistic support system. We will, first of all, focus our study on the specificities of drone and determine the scope of its logistic support system. We then propose a mathematical model that describes the delivery missions of drones and takes into account temporal, energy and capacity constraints. This model solves a sizing problem related to the UAV delivery activity. This sizing is based on the nature of the delivery activity (delivery tasks), the type of drone and also on the adopted battery charging strategy (s) which must be respected during their operations. . Finally, using simulation and based on the results of the digital resolution, we were able to have a global vision on the operation of a fleet of delivery drones as well as its logistic support system

Full textSince The investment of foreign manufacturing in developing countries result rapidly increasingly on economic growth to the host countries. Such contributions are creating new jobs by foreign companies, increasing the use of multinational distribution networks, or even spending on research and development to support many national projects. These have led to higher productivity through increased capital, which in turn has led to high living standards. Consequently, several developing countries are recognized to attracting foreign investors to invest their manufacturing business that they can gain benefits from them. However, they face many critical challenges linked to the economic turbulence, from the increasing of labor cost, ineffective supply chain and infrastructure. The crisis was raised many problems that give Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) loss profits and increase operational costs. Then new and existing foreign investors are reluctant to invest or expand the businesses. While several approaches to be considered on making a decision are noticed for foreign investors. The relocation to cheaper laboring countries or shutting down operation is the possible strategy to be considered for them. However, these situations will not only impact internal organization but also the local and global economic situation. Since the crises can affect people’s income, as well raise economic problems, they finally lead to social problems in the area. Thus, to sustain the business operation and attract the new comers of FDIs, this research aims to help manufacturers understand the existing crises in their business situation, and then make the right decision by providing them with a tool to validate their future investment decision. Furthermore, providing useful information on FDIs’ investment also contributes to attracting new investors. Thus we will focus on the problematic as follows. 1 What are the potential factors used for a decision making while the FDIs is faced up with crises? 2 How can the study help manufacturers make the right decision in their manufacturing crises?3 In order to make a decision on relocating, transferring or divesting plants, are the specific factors that should be considered?4 How can the relevant organizations and the government help to prevent the crises generated by offshore or plant divestment? To answer on the problematic, our research proposes an integrated framework which is based on three main requirements: The supply chain and infrastructure, workers skills and performance, as well as the financial situation associated with the relevant stakeholders. Those three stakeholders are foreign investor, local industrial estate stakeholders, and manufacturers. However, the strategies to be analyzed in our research framework can be categorized into static and dynamic analysis. In terms of static analysis, the risk matrix decision represented as the knowledge base system used to evaluate the occurrence of existing risks in businesses. This analysis also helps investors or manufacturers evaluate their related risks on existing businesses. Regarding dynamic analysis, the modeling of the supply chain simulation is constructed according to the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model. Supply chain modeling and analysis on future cost of investment are represented in this context. Besides, our research also applies the metrics and attributes based on Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) to measure the supply chain performance

Full textEating is human’s basic necessity whose survival depends on both quantity and quality of food. Increasing population requires increasing in quantity of food, while quality is associated with the food product constraints like short shelf-life, temperature sensitiveness, climate etc. Increasing demand causes increase in food production, which is distributed between several production sites involving several distinct entities from small to large enterprises, where sites may use the intermediate products of other sites to produce the final products. Moreover, food products need to be transported between sites and final products to be distributed to faraway retailer sites and consumers considering the food product constraints. Activities performed by these entities include but not limited to: production, distribution, sales, etc. and these entities form jointly in the environment of food ecosystem a chain for food gathering, processing, packaging, delivery etc. This distributed network of enterprises is called food supply chain (FSC). Due to FSC’s distributed nature, it inherits not only the common problems also faced by other supply chain, but in addition has to deal with the problems arising from the perishability of food products. This perishability nature makes extremely important for FSC, the handling of issues such as maintaining the quality of food products, forecasting the product demand, managing the inventory according to the forecast to reduce out of stock or excessive inventory of products, improving the efficiency of replenishment, production and transportation, taking into account product future demand and tracing and tracking to react to disturbance. Finally, it is necessary to institute collaboration between the main entities of food ecosystem to deal with all of these issues. Furthermore, since the advent of specialized transport enterprises, a new actor has emerged called transporter or logistics provider in the FSC. These transporters have to collaborate with producers, retailers and even other transporters within FSC to take into account product future demands and trends to organise their transport network and resources to make possible the delivery of the food products with security, while maintaining the quality of the food products. Thus, collaboration became vital for FSC. Collaboration involves a good understanding of exchanged information in order to minimizing number of transport travels, cost and environmental pollution. Interoperability problem arises when each of the partners involved in FSC uses heterogeneous systems and uses different standards and terminologies for representing locations, product constraints, vehicles types etc. Furthermore, existing collaborative approaches like Quick Response, Efficient Consumer Response, Vendor Managed Inventory, Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR), etc. take into account only two types of actors of FSC: buyer and seller (producer and retailer). Additionally, they don’t consider the production and transportation planning as collaborative tasks. Taking into account above limitations, we propose, in the first phase of this thesis, an extension of CPFR model, which take into account production and transportation aspects. This new model C-PRIPT (Collaborative -Planning Replenishment Inventory Production and Transportation) includes transporter actor and elaborates production and transportation planning as collaborative activities. In the second phase, we propose a distributed and interoperable transportation planning model I-POVES (Interoperable - Path Finder, Order, Vehicle, Environment and Supervisor) to realise collaborative transportation planning by collaborating producers, transporters and retailers, aiming at a better use of transport resources. Finally, we illustrate the functioning of I-POVES model by applying it on a case study of food supply chain

Full textFaced with increasingly complex and globalized Supply Chains (SC), organizations rely on industry 4.0 technologies to support these challenges. Inter-organizational information systems (IOIS), which enable SC integration with information sharing and better collaboration between the various partners, are evolving according to these new technologies in order to improve SC performance. Thus, alongside Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), which concerns a majority of existing research, more collaborative IOIS, better adapted to networked SC, have been introduced. Often available with a cloud computing technology, they can be developed as an industry standard. In this thesis, we focus on the procurement process in the SC and chose to study supplier portals. The adoption of these portals in a SC has often encountered difficulties or even failed, sometimes turning an ambitious industry standard project into a poorly used tool. Indeed, the adoption and implementation of such portals raises issues about system interoperability, process coordination and collaboration among the various partners. Thus, addressing these issues through a multi-level analysis, we raise our research question: how does the implementation of a supplier portal in a SC affect the SC integration and collaboration capabilities? Our methodological approach is based on two longitudinal case studies taking into account the duration of the project. The first case, exploratory in nature, identifies two types of facilitating mechanisms - technological and relational - which, when combined, create an integration-collaboration dynamic between a customer and its suppliers during the implementation of a specific portal. The second case, explanatory in nature, is related to the supplier portal of the European aerospace industry. It presents three levels of analysis (organisational, interorganisational, industry) combining 14 mechanisms which can explain the adoption of an industry portal. Thus, our research makes it possible to characterize the ecosystem favorable to the adoption and success of a supplier portal project, enhancing the SC integration and collaboration capabilities
Chai, Yina. "La stratégie d’alliance entre prestataires de services logistiques dans un cluster logistique en Chine." Thesis, Aix-Marseille, 2012. http://www.theses.fr/2012AIXM1085/document.
Full textThe present research aims to discuss the strategies of alliance between logistics service providers (LSP) in a Chinese logistics cluster. The study focus on the impact of the characteristics of a cluster on the maintain of an alliance. With the principe of qualitative methodology, we conducted interviews with principal actors in four logistics clusters of Guangdong Province which is the most developed province in China. There are several results of this thesis. First of all, it gives an overview of the motivations of LSP to enter a logistics cluster, also the motivations and challenges of a strategic alliance between LSP. Then the results show that geographical proximity between LSP promotes coordination of an alliance and the choice of reliable and competent partners. In addition, the social networks "Guanxi" could be source of informal control of opportunistic behavior and build confidence. Finally, the attention paid by the government on the logistics cluster has an indirect positive impact on the informal control of an alliance between LSP. As theoretical contributions, this research enrichs the aspect of alliance between LSP and logistics cluster and offers arguments to help LSP choose logistics cluster and form strategies alliances within these logistics clusters. Taking into account the cultural and political characteristics of China, an exploratory research was conducted on this topic which is still lacking in the literature

Full textEmergency management is one of the principal hospital missions. Since the 90s, hospitals have answered, through the emergency structure, an exponential request for not programmed care, which posed the problem of the dimensioning of the structure and its means. This situation provoked enormous organisational problems. In front of this situation, the hospital decision-makers miss tools witch are indispensable to re-size the emergency resources and to choose the new emergency organization. They shall also allow the planning of the emergency management as well as human and material resources allocation. In response to these needs, this thesis proposes an approach of assistance to the management of emergency systems. This approach tackles three principal problems. At first, we focus our attention on the modelling of emergency processes and its main paths. This modelling, coupled with patients flow simulation, will enable us to analyze the functioning of the emergency structure and to determine the parameters which influences the emergency process. We are interested, secondly, in the nursing staff’s allocation by taking into account their profile of competence evolution using the linear programming. In the third time, we shall study the problem of in hospital vital emergencies management. By means of a process modelling combined with a simulation, we proceed to an approach of conception and evaluation of in hospital survival chain. We tackle, in this last stage, the question of appointment of mobile resuscitation emergency team as well as the positioning of semi automatic defibrillator

Full textIn logistics warehouses, automation in the sense of robotization is frequently being employed to cut down production times by efficiently managing the processes of picking heavy loads, place, pack and palletize, while reducing the risks and errors to improve the working conditions of human operators along the way. The flexibility of human is fundamental for order preparation owing to adaptive skills for task variation, but at the same time increasing productivity is complemented with fatigue (musculoskeletal disorders). In this context the research presented in this thesis is a contribution in the robotization of palletization operations requiring exceptional versatility of manipulation and gripping. We have proposed an innovative solution of utilizing a humanoid torso equipped with two manipulator arms with adaptive grippers to grasp and hold the objects of variable size and mass. The main contribution of research is the development of a hybrid Force / Position-Position control law with commutation and estimation of the object surface slip, while taking into account the compliance and correction of the clamping force during handling. The execution of the control involves the collaboration of the two arms for coordinated manipulation and adaptation to the material and the human environment (cobotics)

Full textThis research is part of a difficult and risky development project of an ERP solution within the Busines Unit “logistics” of Moroccan company. It’is interested in factors of efficiency of coupling SOA and BPM processes during implantation. It is theoretically rooted in a paradigm of governance based on the premise that "recent ERP architectures (integrated network) favor a different engineering project, involving an approach and methodology" agile ", which puts forward and benefit communication, responsiveness and adaptability in order to focus on the change. It supports, in this sense, the issue of impacts of planned change and organizational learning, and the premises of influence of these two modes of governance on the success of the project. Its theoretical foundations borrow conceptual schemes of logic platform models (choice of ERP), and strategic alignment (implementation). These foundations are applied to the choice of architectures (SOA and BPM), and that of its implementation via the internal alignment of the capacities of these two architectures, service-oriented (SOA) and business (BPM). The interest of this work is borne by the question: what are the internal contingency factors and conditions that affect organizational learning / impact the alignment of BPM and SOA capabilities(internal fit), and contributes to the perceived success of ERP implementation? Three research questions call to mobilize performance evaluation introduced by an SI change: that of organizational learning processes (organization science research) and acceptance of IT (MIS science research). The research model mobilizes systemic pattern of organizational learning by Argyris (1995), to fit the study of change introduced by the ERP process. It has three levels of analysis, with Inputs (Quality of Governance); the transformation process (the efficiency of SOA / BPM integration process); and Outputs (success of functional integration of the BU). It is worn by the general premise that "the success of the functional integration of the ERP), assessed in terms of impact is directly related to the effectiveness of the integration process and, indirectly, in the strategic governance models affairs of the Logistics BU. The methodology follows a qualitative empirical approach. The method of single case study is applied to data collection over a period of three years. The design is based on a dual approach of investigation, ethnographic and action research. Data collection requires the successive use of three tools: literature search (history and strategy of the project); participant observation (project conducting meetings); and semi-structured interviews (test application). The data is processed with N'Vivo10 to validate content analysis of the variables and the structure of their links in the model. The results diagnosis confirm the existence of specific transcripts for the studied concepts - the perceptions of stakeholders and users are properly restored by triangulation, in their conceptual foundations and their empirical analysis. It establishes meaningful connections between the variables of the 3 levels of the model, and confirms the model structure, restored by a tree of partial and adjacent premises to the general premise. The significant paths between these premises are commented to judge conditions for success of the ERP project

Full textThe emergency department is an important care service that represents the hospital's bottleneck. Emergencies often face overcrowding problems in many countries worldwide. One of the causes of the emergency department overcrowding is the permanent interference between three types of arriving patients: already programmed patients, non-programmed patients and urgent non-programmed patients. The aim of this thesis is to contribute to the study and development a decision support system to improve patient management in both normal and overcrowding situation. Two main processes have been developed. A rolling-horizon scheduling process using a memetic algorithm with the integration of controlled genetic operators to determine an optimal schedule for patient. The second dynamic orchestration process, based on communicating agents, takes into account the dynamic and uncertain nature of the emergency environment by continually updating this schedule for patient. This orchestration monitoring in real time the workflow of the patient pathway improves step by step the performance indicators during the execution. Through agent behaviors and communication protocols, the proposed system has established a direct real-time link between the required performances and the effective actions in order to decrease the overcrowding impact. The experimental results in this thesis, implemented at the Regional University Hospital Center (RUHC) of Lille, justify the interest of the application of our approaches to improve the performance indicators thanks to the agents driven patient pathway workflows during their execution

Full textThe increasing of competition, expanding markets and advanced technology create shorten lifecycle and the development process to improve product performance in terms of time, cost and quality. These shorten products lifecycle have led to increase volumes of waste generation and consequence impact to environment. EU directives have been introduced, such as Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS) and guidelines for the treatment of waste batteries (Battery), these directives are used to handle the hazardous substances which are harmful to human health and the environment. These regulations and standards have been put in place to force companies take their responsibilities on managing their products when reach to the end of life. Some companies have found that the returned product can be recycled or reused as an additional source of income (material recycling, or reuse of components after disassembly) in the manufacturing process.Knowledge related to the environmental performance (in terms of process design, production, transportation, storage, etc.) should be captured, evaluated and stored in knowledge base in order to share between users in different phases of the product lifecycle. Therefore, this research proposes a Knowledge Management Architecture based on a Multi-Agent System approach. The objective of this work is to propose a system that focuses on the concept of "sustainability” of products lifecycle by establishing the link between agents, who hold knowledge related to the environmental performances, and PLM system. The connection encourages companies considering the environmental impacts in their decision making at every stage of product lifecycle
Elock, Son Célestin. "Le management des risques de la supply chain et la performance des entreprises agro-industrielles." Thesis, Artois, 2017. http://www.theses.fr/2017ARTO0102/document.
Full textThis research aim to determine the influence of downstream supply chain risk management on performance of agro-industrial firms. It adopts an international comparative investigation between developing economy (Cameroon) and developed economy (France) to examine the concepts actually improved upstream of the supply chain. Based on scientific realism, the second post-positivist paradigm, it combines theory with field investigation to understand unobservable constructs. Using a combination of qualitative data obtained through semi-direct interviews with supply chain managers, and quantitative data obtained through the survey of agro-industrial companies’ sample, it examines the possible links between Constructs. This is done through the lexical analysis and by the Structural Equation Modeling using the Partial Least Square method (PLS). Results show that strategic risks management positively and significantly influences the performance of agro-industrial firms. This link is both direct and indirect through customer relations. On the other hand, the operational risks management negatively (but not significantly) affects performance. Similarly, the customer relationship negatively affects firm performance, the contrary of theoretical predictions. But the management of strategic risks and part of the operational risks (forecasts) significantly influence the company's customer relationship. This relationship is moderated by the implementation of effective information systems. Sales promotions do not affect the relationship between customer and performance, but are antecedent of the customer relationship of foods companies These results propose another theoretical perspective of transaction costs and agency theories through the positive impact of outsourcing management on performance. Similarly, research suggests to not isolating certain constructs when considering a research on supply chain theory. From managerial implications, managers must divest themselves of activities where they do not possess key competences such as transport activities through the development of partnerships with LSPs. They must also privilege the implementation of effective information systems as a guarantee of success in the customer orientation of the company. Subsequent research may focus on integrating aspects of trust, competitive advantage, and product quality into the model, in order to better measure their impact on the financial and non-financial performance of CRM
